Hello,

Long time lurker and sometimes poster. Forgot my ol' user name and made new one. Haven't played online poker in 3 years and hardly any live in 2.

I'm sick in the head so I'm going to start playing again starting at the very bottom.

I was inspired by this Awesome Thread

I'll be playing on Ipoker at 4PLO and moving up from there. In the past I thought myself too good of a player to play this low and always jumped around or took ill advised shots.

I finally came to terms that I was and am pretty bad. I decided that I'm willing to put in the work to get good. I am fully committed this time around. Like the thread above I'll have someone guiding me somewhat but I need all the help I can get.

My starting roll was 75 euros and I'm down to 63. I will be posting graphs, stats, updates, etc as I go. I will also mix in some micro tournaments. Seems like they're reasonably soft on IPOKER.

Any input or helpful suggestions will be much appreciated. I am using Pokertracker 4.

Short term Goals:

1. Learn all the basic fundamentals of PLO
2. Master the value bet
3. Get better at folding
4. Understand stack sizes
5. Understand SPR
6. Learn how to 3bet properly
7. Learn how to properly assign a hand range in PLO
8. Learn pot control

That's it for now. Thanks for reading. Will have weekly updates if anyone's interested. Hand Histories as well.

I haven't decided on numbers yet. Every time I focus on numbers I crash and burn. I think it's achievable but I wonder, like you, if others do as well?

I would like to mix in tournaments as well but it seems like the guy above had a lot more time than me.

I also don't expect to be that successful but I believe that I can be that successful. There's a difference between expecting something to happen and believing something will.

Also, I'm a noob with posting, how do you post images? I tried using imageshack but it wouldn't post. Where do you guys upload pics of your graphs, stats, etc first to post on 2+2?

Also, I was trying to post HH as well from weaktight off of pokertracker 4 and they wouldn't post. Maybe it was a browser issue.

Any help would be much appreciated

Still Spewing and trying to get a hang of things. It helps when you get lucky against a loose passive fish that only raises when he's got the 1st or 2nd nuts!

Also, can anyone help me with posting screen shots of my graph as I go? Do I have to upload it to an image hosting website and then post it on here?

Villain is playing a 91/5/3b of 2/cb of 20 and FCB of 47. He just check calls everything unless he has the nuts or at least 2nd nuts. Unfortunately for him I got lucky as ****!

Quick update. No ones prob reading now and that's fine. Just hit over 10k hands. Would post graph but haven't figured out how just yet.

Summary: I'm spewing but not broke thanks to RB.

Decided to take a quick break and go over hands. Also, will be going through the quick pro program for theory. I heard it's pretty good. Bad reviews on here but we'll see what happens.

My grind isn't the easiest due to a full time job and other life commitments. I'm committed to getting better. That's really the only thing I can control out of this so we'll see what happens.

Would like to be at PLO 100 and traveling sporadically playing up to $500 live tournaments by this time next year.

So here's my ugly graph after a little over a month of play. I haven't been able to put in that many hands because I work full time. If it wasn't for rakeback I'd be broke!

But I'm still grinding. Right now I'm really vulnerable to entitlement tilt and I'm getting it in too lite. I can play up to 4 tables without spewing too much. Anything past that gets ugly real fast.

Hi,

I think restricting yourself to 4 table is a very good start to fight tilt. Playing more tables is a skill in it self (that I myself lack) that is really worth acquiring but it takes practice and planning just like everything else in poker.

I also limited the length of my sessions as i found that after a while i sink into a bad auto play that is never good. It looks that all my long session are losing ones so i play shorter ones with frequent brakes. As a result i hardly ever gather big stacks which is fine as my deep play is not the best, but i put that on the 'to learn list ' anyway. Everything is connected it seems.

One other thing is stop loss which for my is not really in buy-ins but simply when i feel the rage I then quit and look at some hands or do something else until i cool down.

Focus on making good decisions on each street and don't worry about the immediate results. Each good decisions =profit that's how you should look at things. Easier said than done, i know

Good luck, i am contemplating starting a similar thread so i will read this sub forum frequently see how fellow PLOers are doing
