Hey hey, good day to everyone!

Old, old SnG grinder here. Started as successful cash NLHE player in ~2012. I quickly fell in love with SnG format. I have been playing them for over 10 years now, mostly 9 and 18man. All my life stucked with P* I decided lately to try GGpoker. Not really SnG site but it had that "wow" effect on me, definitely something else from what I was used to.
With that change I decided to go for cash games, buuuut I will be playing only PLO whiiiiich I only played 20k[?] hands in my whole life just for fun . I guess this makes it a challange?
So I was thinking about goals for this one and figured out beating PLO100 at decent winrate is going to be nice main target. I'm not quite sure what is good winrate but something like 3-4bb/100 over 150+k hands seems OK? No studying yet, just basic Hold'em strategy and whatever I know about PLO(). Courious how far I can go with it... If I even can go beyond PLO2.
Comfortable starting bankroll for me to start playing PLO2- $123,45. It feels like if I bust from this there is no point for me to try play PLO ever again . Jump to PLO5 as soon as i hit $150
Rules? Only bet/raise allowed. Also since GG is having huge rake- all rakeback goes into BR.

Here is my test ride
Spoiler:

Mix of PLO2/5/10. It seems just like a good run. And ofc that is GGpoker so graph is including rake. Not many hands but I drew a lot of conclusions from player pool.

I'm relly excited to start this thread. For long I wanted to start poker blog, but I had no idea what could it be.
I start on Monday and hope for decent volume. I could as well hope for not losing whole BR in one week.
GL to me and all of You! Cheers!

Hey hey!

I found couple of hours to play today.
Spoiler:

Tons of missed flops early. Got "lucky" on free flop from BB vs 3 other players with 88xx 863 rainbow. I guess I have to stack there vs 3 with nuts. Even if it's rainbow any low card(that doesn't pair the board) vs 3 completes straigh so my common sense tell me to just raise/get it in. Everyone goes all in on the flop and I'm surprised to see I'm still 53% favor. Turn is an 8 which makes me a winner, crazy hand. Beside that on the other table got aggro fish who straddles to 16bb, and every few hand goes no look all in. I got some value from him too.

Even if it was only 1k hands a lot of things happened again. I guess that's the PLO charm. More cards than in NLHE makes things a little bit crazy. Product of that were couple of afwul spots where I hit absolute nuts on the turns and river pairing/3 to the flush boards got fishes to pot donk bet and that made me give up few decent pots. I think low sets/straight are never good there[?].
Thing I forgot to mention- I will be playing only reg tables for now.
BR atm $138,03. ~80c from that is RB.
Cheers!

Hello!

I found out there is little traffic at 1AM in Europe May change to other room.
Anyways. On Monday I got to play 280 hands. Today little bit more(I had to mix PLO5 with PLO10). I'm Super dissapointed in my game today. I've made couple of bad calls. It's just tough to fold 2nd, 3rd nut flushes vs fishes. I have to play better tomorrow. Also close to the end of session playing PLO10 I lost almost 200bb w/ aggro big straddler. Also I feel like PLO10 wasn't nice to me today at all.

PLO5 yday+today
Spoiler:

and 10s
Spoiler:

Monday got me 18,85 from flipout torney+ C$0,40 from ladderboard and 75c from spin and gold ticket win. Today C$0,40 ladderboard+ $1,8 fish buffet spin. That makes BR $160,23. Adding to that winnings from Monday and today $9,1. So $26,55 rake from 1700 hands . Due to high rake I probably should fold pre even more hands.
Total BR $169,33

Have a good day or night. Cheers!

Hi hi!
I'm short on time lately just found a moment for quick update. I was able to play 13,5k hands since last post.
I went for PLO5 and PLO10 mix the day after last post and got wrecked (Despite bad result I still feel like I won't have any problems beating 10s).
After that I was playing mostly PLO2 just because better tables. It is hard to find decent 0.02/0.05 tables at the time I play.

Graph:
Spoiler:

9,5k hands of PLO2, 3,5k hands of PLO5 and ~5 hundred of 10s. Sucks to show that run good graph but at least all of that EV difference comes from 2s where I run suuuper good. No complains tho. VOLUME HAS TO BE HIGHER!!!
Rakeback: $11,9 from ladderboards, $7,62 from daily freebie tickets, $74,67 from flipout torneys, $10,91 bad beat jackpot, and $5,2 from cashback(went for flat RB, I had no idea this was an option, happy to found out).

Bankroll: $281,55
This is nuff for me to play PLO10, but I might go for 30 buyins. Only time will tell~

Have a good day/night readers!
Cheers!
