I started playing PLO 1 month ago after my friend convinced me my mind would work better in a heuristic game rather than an exploit game like NLHE. I spent the last month studying Dylan Weisman's PLO Launchpad over and over while playing nano stakes PLO10 on Ignition and 1/3 at a local cardroom.

These are my stats so far... very small sample size. Could very well be a losing player. I try to stick to strong Pre flop fundamentals and I believe that gives me a small edge over the 80% limp callers at these stakes.

I think a good goal over the next 3 months is turning the $250 into $2,000 and feel like a decent competitor at PLO100

Everyday at 6pm PST I stream for a couple hours and need some online poker buddies to talk hands/support each other.

My other thread is active at https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/2...lenge-1837679/

Super short stream today at https://www.twitch.tv/notphus I start stream everyday at 6 PST.

I explained on another thread that I thought I had put in the work and time to graduate from PLO10 and move up. I face a lot of resistance at PLO25 and tbh feels sketchy for some reason.

Past two days I've played a bit at PLO50 which is the bottom of the next rake section on Ignition, but it feels closer to what I study for with more HU pots. Still a lot of limpers and some weird players min raise opening which is hard to adjust to.

I also made the decision to start playing two tables instead of four. Instead of spamming hands, nut peddling at PLO10 I now feel the need to focus more on postflop play. I realized last night that I was using bet sizings for 13 SPR SRP in 7SPR 3bet pots. Fixing that made a lot of confusion go away. I am still unsure about SRP in multiway and lower SPR pots. I am not sure where the good resources are for that because I think I have maxed out on a lot of the value PLO Launchpad has to offer.

Sizable swings for the BR, but nothing relative to the stakes. Glad I had another winning day. Hopefully someone hops in the stream one of these days or drops a reply on either thread!

No stream today, got absolutely clapped in short session before stream.

Felt like every hand I either got river'd with my value or I triple barreled/ check-raise barreled bluffs that got called by hands I would think are easy folds.

IDK, brain feels broken.

All day it was 3 handed pots and without top pair and strong draw I can't find cbets. Been spazzing trying to find some direction in the grey I currently exist in.

Is anyone else annoyed by all the resources for improving are supposedly common scenarios like BTNvBB, but it's never that simple. It's more often than not UTG limp CO Raise SB flat UTG flat. Weird 5.5 SPR pots with TPTK on draw heavy board where we are flipping if the turn is actually a good card.

I'm bitching and uncomfortable and don't like that I have to shell out $1,000 USD to get the poker mastery.

This is probably the reason why playing 6maxPLO with 15 BI is not recommended. Standard run bad puts you on monkey tilt questioning whether to continue...
