I moved this thread to PG&C now that it's become OP's poker blog.

So what's the story Op? I see you posting confidently in other peoples blogs, handing out strategy to people progressing in the game and flaming others giving solid advice and slagging off some established resources??

Not sure what you are playing? You talk about GTO and PIO solver...this suggests cash...but then you talk mainly about tourneys. Don't see many hands, just a lot of random talk.

seriously...what's the story/update?

^ I didnt make this post with the intention of updating it, was more of a question i just wanted advice on, i may start a new thread that i will update as i didnt want to do it on this as i dont know how many people have subscribed (only used 2 + 2 for a month)

I play heads up sit n gos on stars, although low volume due to other commitments. I only made 1 comment on PIO, i dont actually use it myself as its just too high a % of my bankroll atm although i definitely want to use it in the future.

My opinion on GTO is that even when its more profitable to play exploitatively, that you should still be thinking about balance, how you want to play different parts of your range etc. Because if you dont you will get crushed whenever you try to move up in stakes.

I dont really know who i have been flaming or who i have slagged off. Im not some keyboard warrior that goes round starting ****, most of my comments are purely analytical

you called the advice of someone who is actually playing live SS with their own money "ridiculous" and you popped off at Mike Caro's book and people who advise it as a decent resource as "**** irrelevant". Somewhat for the lolz you advised your (presumably better) method of learning live tells, in the very same post you said you don't play live.

Move on from that...my point is simply this. If you going to dish out "analytical" advice, especially to aspiring pro's, with any credibility, people need to know where you at, moreover since you are not a live cash game player do you think it is a good idea to hand out advice to people who are?

Anyway, hopefully I've made my point in a polite and respectful manner. Take it or leave it, idk.

I wish you luck in whatever you choose to do. I'm not gonna troll, so won't reply further here, but will follow if you open up a new pgc...one that has HH in it.

PS Yeah, I knew about Australia...sorry about that, your government has sucked for quite a while.

When i said folding T9 was ridiculous it wasnt like a personal attack against MikeStar, i dont even know him, was just how i saw that particular play (although i accept theres no need to call it ridiculous)
I do believe that Caro's book was great for its time, although i think its a little outdated and not as useful now as it wouldve been a while ago.

Out of curiosity, do you think anything i said has been outright wrong? Or is it just the principal behind an unproven amateur giving hand advice to a live pro?
If so id like to know as i feel most of my comments have been pretty solid
