A place to track my journey A place to track my journey

After thinking for a long time, I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a full-time pro.

Just finished my third year in college, so my friends are either preparing for grad school or doing an internship.
And here I am taking a relatively "unstable"(don't know if this is the word) route.
I've only told my parents and a few friends I know wouldn't make fun of me about this.
But still, the fear of failure keeps coming to mind.

Anyway, I started playing Zoom NL10 with my $300 bankroll on Natural 8 (GG) yesterday and this is my first two short sessions.

I know the volume is far from enough to determine whether I'm definitely a losing player at the moment.
Nevertheless, the frustration of losing more than I should and only wins small pots is painful.
It didn't take long till I realize my major problems.
Tons of preflop mistakes on 3-bet/4-bet situations
Getting so tilted while being bluff-catched by some goofy hands
The mindset of "Why am I not crushing this?"

I will keep grinding and probably update occasionally as a way to track how I'm going
Was wondering, any general ideas for micro stakes zoom?
Since playing zoom is more difficult to play exploitative strategies.
How do you guys deal with your mentality?

I would definitely not recommend you quit studying after 3 years of college to play zoom nl10 with an unknown expectation.

I think with a properly organized schedule, you can easily combine study with the game.

I wouldn't go completely into poker without the confidence that I can support myself with it.

First, you need to go up to the limit where you can earn enough and be sure that you are beating it.

Then accumulate a financial "airbag" that will allow you to survive streaks (the amount that will be enough for you at least half a year of life).

And only after that, I would start thinking about burning bridges and completely go into poker.
