To all people starting from 1.5/3.5s. It can be done.

Im going on vacation next year to US (i live in Brazil), and promised my fiance that i was going to pay it with "poker money". So, lets do it!. I think i need at least 8k.
When i stopped posting in the last thread i was playing 7s trying to move up to 10s. Im now confortably playing 15s on Stars and trying to move up to 30s.
I finished Cog Dissonance course a few weeks ago, and fixed a ton of leaks. Of course, im still a fish, but a "improving fish".

Im running sooooooooooo good at 30s now. I hope variance does not hit me the other way.

Ill get married next month, so my poker time will sufer a lot. In the other hand, ill have more free time after august.

Im buying zzztilt/phl500 package this week. Will try to watch it next week.
So, here is my goals for this month:

[ ] Watch the husng hyper package.
[ ] Play 800 more games. (it will be difficult because of the wedding and stuff)
[ ] Stay at 30s.
[ ] Run good.

Ok. Day is over. Im tilting so much just because i spew some games to a donk. I need to work on my mental game.

Ok...so i got a little time before going home. Will try to write some stuff now =D
Today i plan to grind at least 100 games. Lets see if i can do it.

A little bit about my HT "journey":

I started playing on revolution 1.5s and was running so bad, i just had to grind a lot (for my standards). At that time, i was playing like 30 games/day LOL. The software was so slow.
When my BR reached 1k i moved it to FTP. Started playing 10s and losing alot.
So i decided to transfer $200 to PS and grind 3.5s to gain confidence.

Since January im only playing on stars. My current BR is 6k. I just withdraw almost all my FTP BR.

So, i should be playing 60s with 6k BR now. But im such a nit. I played 15s for 2 month, and i cant even beat 30s right now.

Lets hope i can do it this/next month and move to 60s.
Will try to update at least once a week with graphs etc.

Mental game:

One of my biggest weakness is TILT. I do tilt so easily and most of the times i dont even know why. Thats the reason i ALWAYS decline a remach. Dont even matter if i lost or won the match.
I feel like, losing 3/4 games in a row to the same person is a LOT worse "in my mind" than losing to different people.
I know thats a big leak and i have to work on that. I dont even remach agains HUGE donks. LOL. This prevents me from adapting to my opponents too. =/

Hey Tetsuo,

Great thread, I'm hoping to follow in your footsteps (just starting out at the $1.50's). Volume has been a problem for me too, I have a full time job so I try to get some games in after work but I struggle to play more than 30.

Anyway good luck with your goals.
