A brief bio on myself

My name is Ryan aka Tapouttazz. I live and play poker in the state of New Jersey. This game has changed my life for the better despite being a lifetime looser. I have made connections with people all around the world, made new friends and I evan won a trip to Scotland in a charity poker tournament 2 months ago. I have goals in poker that may seem a bit crazy especially for a life time looser who is stuck playing in the micros. to understand my situation right now let me take you back to September of 2013. Ps this will be long. I was in college and having difficulty seeing the bored. I new my eye sight was not what it once was a year prior and finally went to the eye doctor.He basically gave me glasses after we established how bad the eye sight was on my right side eye. A few weeks later I woke up on a Saturday morning hopped in my car and started to drive to my local bank. I noticed something was not off, my eye sight was extremely foggy on my right eye I had my glasses on so I took them off. I realized I had no vision in my right eye! After the dust settled and all the panic was over I went to a well known eye doctor in the area. At first they thought I had a detached retina, but to be sure he sent me to a specialist for a cat scan. I do the cat scan everything is fine and I'm walking out of the room when the doctor comes running in the room and tells me "you need to get to the hospital now You have a brain tumor that's filled with blood". It's sitting right on your optic nerve. He then explains its the size of a golf ball. He then tells me I will need surgery asap. I then rush to the hospital in disbelief of what is going on. Am I dreaming? Is this a joke? That's all I keep asking myself. Once I get to the hospital teams of doctors rush me into the ER and start performing all kinds of tests on me. They told me my surgery will be at 6:00am the next day. I am in a full blow panic attack its 9pm at night when I finally get a bed in the hospital. All my family has now herd the news and started to contact me. An uncle I had not had any contact with in a few years calls me out of the blue we chat and then he tells me right before hanging up that he is going to pray for me. (I am not a religious man I don't pray or anything of that type but I swear to god it was a miricle what happen next) five minutes later a new doctor walks in he tells me he has amazing news he has talked to his team and there going to try and put me on a pill to shrink my tumor instead of proceeding with the surgery. This to me was one of the biggest miracles. I felt at that moments when my uncle told me he was going to pray for me it worked someone was looking out for me!



My challenge is to make 5k in 2015. This 10k will be to help pay down some of the medical bills I am having difficulty with at the moment. I will also be using the money to help pay down my student loan.

(I will be adding a little more money to my bankroll so I can play on multiple sites.
I will have a 2 buyin stop loss rule.
I will not be able to put in huge volume every week due to my full time job but I plan I playing at least 5 days a week posting graphs and hands.
My challenge will start a month early in dec of 2014 to warm me up and give me a head start.

so this hand i had the guy to my right and he was 3 betting every open I made. I checked his 3 bet stat and it was almost 20% in 200 hands. so i figure he light. I made a choice to be more aggressive next time he got out of line. So we are heads up on the flop and I jam on him and he shows down the nuts
