Feeling really solid with preflop how to act as SB vs BB 3! pot.

I started training BB vs any open and over 1200 hands we have about 85% GTO score as a first attempt in that spot so I think just a few thousand more in the trainer and my Blind game is going to have a nice bump in confidence preflop.

GTOwizard is so nice being able to jump through so much data so quickly. I can stop the trainer, open up the spot to study and have a look at the entire range strategy. I think glancing whenever I blunder or mistake helps me memorize the ranges much better (basically studying flash cards). I'm not anywhere close to using it to full potential, I'm just happy that I am making an effort to use it, and what seemed 100$ foreign before is starting to make sense and come together so it is excited thinking about how we might see it in about a month or 2

Would really like to have hand histories to upload to GTOwizard and PT4 so I can go through and find observable leaks and tendencies. Getting the feeling I am not using the tools I have available to really create or push an edge when I play on Global. Yeah I'm sure it is softer than most sites, and we are doing pretty well there (11bb/100 or so with a conservative estimate/like 15bb/100 with RB. I have recorded about 85 hours overestimated, at 3.2 tables at a time estimated average, playing 100 hands per hour estimated, with currently 3,160bbs won and another 800bbs in rakeback.) I think I did that math right?

Still would like to grind it out to 40 buy ins won at global but I am feeling a little change of heart as far as playing on this site. The rakeback is nice but I'm not here to grind rakeback in 10nl or 20nl, we are here to improve and get to higher stakes. Not sure if this is just greed to play higher stakes sooner, like we are bored with 10nl or something. I think more along the lines of feeling in the dark about where our skill level may lie. Having all the info on PT4 from playing is just so valuable isn't it? I think that replaying those hands and diving into them in GTOwiz is probably the best way to accept that I do play poorly or perfectly fine.

If anyone has any advice on what to do, stay at the same site/stakes or move back to another one that is supported by PT4? I am a US player so I don't have access to a lot of sites. Is simply winning money on Global or WSOP with no good way to review or see stats good enough to say we are a good player and as long as we move up in stakes in a timely manner we are good player?

Traffic seems pretty good on Betonline, Ignition, Pokerstars(when selfban is lifted), ACR. I recently saw a post about BETMGM but I haven't checked them out.

Lost about 3 buyins today. Getting severely outflopped in most spots and also blasting off way too hard with weak hands for what the board allows. Not believing any check raises. Not wanting to believe our hole cards could possibly be beat, even though looking back it seems so so ****ing obvious. Overall I want to say very bad day playing. I don't feel solid in spots that I should be playing very cautiously, I played today with greed in the forefront. Haven't been feeling the best heading into the tables, more or less getting on during worse hours out of some feeling of feeling that I need to put more hours in. I don't feel tuned in to the table. Although, I do feel like I have made a lot of solid bluffs, and in some spots we do max out the value but still struggling in close spots. Hopefully continuing to work in the solver will help identify some things to improve on until we get back to a site with stats.

Finding out it is really hard to fold sometimes. Seems like I was just beat in every single pot today and everyone easily got paid by me. Almost every pot I was telling myself that I'm not folding this ****ing spot. Not sure where that comes from. I need to get back to that zen zone where I'm taking each spot as it comes and not letting myself lock my game tree out and making really -ev plays. I do think I could have stopped the bleeding better, 3 buy ins is nothing for a swing I know however I don't think they played well, I think I played poorly mostly as a result of greed stemming from frustrations feeling a little behind time for moving up stake.

Tomorrow is a new day. Let us try again then

Was down 3-4 buyins last time I posted and I put in about 4-5 hours since playing and was able to scratch back almost 3 buyins. I'm down a little over a buyin from the BR peak I think and still on a mission to run it up to the 40.

Also still letting the rakeback accumulate in the vault. Kind of crazy how fast that can build up although it is micros so still not feasible to farm it unless it would be an excuse to reduce variance to expedite moving up stakes. I was going for a pure 40 buy in sample here. It does make me consider upping my volume as it is super low right now for how much free time I have however. I am a horrible procrastinator and I definitely need to break that and find a way to be unsatisfied with stagnation/boredom.

Yeah idk. feels like I am fighting for my life to not bleed away my stack, and I find myself getting coolered to some runner runner flush/straight/two pair in 3 and 4 bet pots and people calling down with weird hands (desperate? or just playing to hit anything) on the flop and turning/rivering nuts.

ex.
UTG is marked as weak and noted to showdown with nothing burgers and whack
AQ on the button, UTG opens to 2 and folds to us, we 3! to 10 and only UTG calls.
FLOP comes Q95. POT 22bb - UTG checks, we bet 6.6, UTG calls.
TURN comes 9. POT 35bb - UTG checks, we bet 25, UTG calls
RIVER comes 6 POT 84bb - UTG checks, we shove with 60 left behind and UTG calls.

Spoiler:
78 UTG wins 202bb

After 2 hours feeling like we were playing walking through a minefield and we are down half a buy in for the day. Currently sitting at about 2900bbs overall winnings at 10nl. Might be hitting a little mental barrier thinking about pushing out these last 1000bbs and it feels like this every time I get close to a goal or a plateau sort of along the way and I have this block that prevents me from getting over that hump. Over the last 15 hours we are breakeven.

Last hand of a one hour session on ACR. Broke the bankroll up and decided to move to a site that I can collect and look through data so here we are. I can play on Ignition too but I'm going to give ACR a go. Even if it is a harder site to play on in general, I am okay with that considering you don't get really good playing against really bad players. Looking forward to seeing a 25k hand sample from ACR. I'm going to try starting with the zoom format and if I lose 5 buyins I will move to reg tables.

Just finished a pretty small sample on ACR 10nl Blitz and it went really well. I am enjoying the faster pace action compared to Global reg tables. I started out with 2 Blitz tables, but I actually tried out 4 for the last 1.5k hands and I was not expecting to keep up but it turned out okay.

10k HAND UPDATE!

Been feeling great at the tables for almost this entire sample so far. There are moments I feel like tilting and for sure not playing great 100% of the time. Definitely finding hands as I review that I look back and just wonder what in the *uck was I thinking. I haven't been tilting from losing pots though. I've found this place where I'm not too worried if I made a mistake, I'm almost happy to be doing stuff I think is right but am usually too scared to. I have to be open to being a winner as much as a loser. Big swings can happen either way.

Before coming to play on ACR we were playing on Global poker and winning around 10bb/100 I think. We went on a huge cooler tilt session and donked off about 6 buyins. After that I took a few days break and decided to try out another site with HUD and Hand History and everything PT4 offers. After that day losing on global the bankroll was sitting at about 2300bbs won at 10nl on Global. Peak was about 3300bbs or so.

We moved some of the bankroll to ACR and after just finishing up 10k hands I am super stoked to look back on the results. If we figure out the winnings over both sites for 10nl we are now sitting over the 40 buy in goal that we set. FEELS ****ING GREAT. So we are properly rolled to hop in 20nl or 25nl per our Bankroll rules. Not sure if I am going to yet or I'm going to finish 25k hands on ACR 10nl. Anybody have input?

Here is our 10k hand graph, a little screen shot of some nice stacks after this last heater. Wasn't our biggest stack yet tho, we did build one up to about 650bbs which is my biggest stack I've sat with. Baby milestones all over, woo. Also I'm gonna include some Hand History of the biggest pots over the last 5k hands

1. Thought he would play an ace like this and I would have outs. I don't like continuing with the paired board though, looking back I would say 2/10 as played.

There's a bunch of boring big pots but its just preflop allins and whatnot. I tried to pick a few that might be interesting.

Looking forward to the next 10k hands.

GIVE IT TO ME STRAIGHT

Little update. Got caught up playing too much I think and neglecting study both of my game and solver/upswing. I feel kinda aloof while playing the last few sessions, not able to find confidence in my decisions or thought process either. It feels like we are getting steamrolled by the nuts really often, I have turned into a station, and I don't know how to extract value. Probably was just running crazy for the first 25k hands. Going to try to spend a good bit of time in gtowiz this week and get through an upswing module.

I'm a mega fish.

So many of the last 10k hands seem so embarrassing to go back and look through. Could be playing too many tables, I was 4 table zooming but thinking of maxing 2 zoom and having 2-4 reg open instead if I show improvement. Also went from playing about 1k hands per day on ACR to 5k. Mental game probably needs a lot of work.

Having a really rough time lately on the tables. Honestly not sure what is going on but can't seem to win any hands. Looking back to only hands I have won with are basically AA-JJ all in pf or 4! pots.

I am a MEGA FISH, **** me. Moving down to 5nl zoom on Ignition and changing schedule to 3 to 1 time studying to playing. It's time I dive deep deep into GTOwiz and start grasping these ideas I have only been dabbling in and obviously messing up on the tables. Yeah I'm sure I played okay sometimes but I think it is likely luck what happened. Let's see if I can turn this around.

Anyone wanna study group or something?

here is the 45k hands full graph for ACR 10nl blitz. The intial and mid way breakouts were HUGE, not sure if I changed something towards their peaks but I think it looks like I get winners tilt or entitlement tilt or something when I go on nice win streaks. Gotta find a way to stop the bleeding after those winning sessions because I slowly bleed back to zero if I don't pay attention. Why is that? Is my red line sinking way to hard? It was a huge hit it feels like we worked so hard and diligently to build up that streak then to tilt punt it all away from weak mental feels like ****. Probably not going to get really strict with studying but I think there may be days I study and not play. Will try to study more though. I really think I need a few friends or a small study group or something that I can talk poker with. IRL don't have anyone in poker.

Will update at 50k hands probably where I will stop playing 10nl blitz as my main game. If I can win back a few buy ins over the last 5k hands I will chop up this sample as a complete win (with a minor tilt punt set back) and look to move up in stakes, possibly go to iggy 25nl zoom. Or reg tables at 25nl maybe split 2 25 and 2 10 until I get more comfortable.

This last stretch was actually to hit the beast for the $50 but it obviously wasnt worth punting off over twice as much. This is the 2nd beast I have hit though without feeling overwhelmed from the amount of time or hands so that is nice. I think I could put in mad volume, I just need to foundation , fundamentals, and discipline to support it

50k hands completed. Really disappointed at the last 10k hands. I could have definitely ended this sample around 5bb/100 and instead I'm going to finish at 4 bb/100 running over 1.5bbs/100 over EV

Going to take a day break or so from grinding cash seriously. Been putting in like 5k hands a day at zoom. Not sure if I can stay focused at reg tables after this. I'm not sure if I am going to stay at 10nl after having a lower win rate than I thought I could achieve, however, it is Zoom and I have heard the win rates there are just simply lower. I suppose overall this was a challenge on ACR zoom to see if I could beat this pool. ACR has a rep for being a hard site so I can walk away from this sample at least knowing I can hold my own there. Would like to get into the 25nl streets but not sure I am confident enough and disciplined enough to move up. Tilting away 10 buy ins is not something I can be doing as I move up. Seems to be a pattern if I look at all my graphs they all show big up ticks into similar big down swings right after, then stabilize, then repeat... would be nice to not torch off big winnings and keep momentum going up.

I am looking for feedback so please leave a comment or whatever you want to offer

Realizing how bad I am at poker. I am honestly surprised we have been winning money at all. Lately it feels like I am being put to the test on every single hand that goes beyond pre and it feels like villain is always making the right choices. Feels like we are getting bullied off medium hands, strong but vulnerable hands getting beat at showdown and definitely feels like we can't extract any ev when we have the nuts. And of course this is snowballing into a little tilt where we make some really bad bluffs. Went from feeling like I was really grasping some of this stuff and now I feel like every move I make is wrong and I have learned nothing. Going to stay off the tables for a while. I guess just dip a bit here and there in upswing to gtowiz in the meantime if i feel like I want to play.

This downswing is for sure the roughest one so far. Feels like my mental is so far gone. Got to find a way to get back on track.

The sample is not large, especially for the zoom but actually, the results are not bad.

Such Streaks 20-30k hands in Zoom is standard, and you need to be prepared for this.

You need to improve your mental skills.
Variance cannot be beaten and we must accept it as an integral part of poker.

I believe that you can do it and move on.

Good Luck!

Small session this morning. Still feel like I am struggling to get back into a clear headed mindset. Could also not be 100% focused because I'm fighting sickness right now. Sat down anyway after just watching training vids and play and explains. I still feel like I am massively overfolding in a lot of spots though. This was a nice bump to our confidence though and I am looking forward to putting in more hands.

Thinking about putting in another sample at 10nl blitz here around 25-50k again.
