Thanks.

I'm not sure really. My biggest buy in previously is like 15k so it's a pretty big jump. I have been watching a lot of super high rollers on the streams and been making really intensive notes. Hopefully one day I'll break into the field but it's not an immediate goal. For 6-7 of the guys who play I think I have huge exploitative reads that would give me an edge in the first 4-5 tournaments that I played. I've spent hours breaking down their mistakes, not specifically so I can exploit them but just as a bit of math practice. When 1/3 of the field is playing pretty poorly from a fundamental point of view it is encouraging though! There was one hand in particular that was just mind blowingly poor. I was also thinking about selling the work I've done on it all to somebody who is in the field, but seems a little douchey to do.

Sorry if this comes across bad btw. Don't want to start calling people out etc but I think that the less these guys play online the more rusty they are going to be. On the flip side I think they obviously have great live presences which I assume would be better than mine right now.

Yeah it was a shame I stopped with that. My previous blog I updated every single day so I guess most of the content fro the website I had already discussed in the thread. Our staking website is thinking about changing it's name to WugWUg and will have videos/strategy etc on.

Absolutely the bracelet! I'm not just trying to be cool or anything here but I'm going to Vegas this summer for the f
Glory. I'm not expecting to just turn up and walk away with a bracelet but there will be nobody in Vegas this summer who tries harder than me in no limit events. Because of my commitments to coaching outside of events I'll be doing a lot of hh reviews with our guys and staying super on top of my game. The structures are so much better this year that it's just so much more appealing to play. Of course I want to make mlney, I'm a professional poker player, but I really want to get some deep runs as well.

Cool! Give your wife a cuddle tonight, tell her you're sorry about the tension over the last few months and you'll try your best to spend time away from the pc and computer games and more trying to make her feel like a woman. She'll dig it!

I skipped Deauville last minute. European and I were supposed to be going by we decided not to in the end. He's movig to budapest for 2-3 months (basically until I go to Vegas) and that will be super helpful. We're great friends, very supportive off the felt but also speak a lot of poker too. He's defibitely top 3 reg on stars and I don't think it's very close.

I'll be playing EPT Malta. Probably everything there. Definitely the main, 10k, 1k and probably most/all of the sides. Will put a package up probably.

I woke up this morning and realised its not log at all until I go. Around 100 days so 1k/day is going to be quite difficult especially with MTT variance. Guess we gonna have to get lucky! Guess we have SCOOP to fall back on either way.

Makes things very annoying though

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/61...dates-1508176/

This schedule says that SCOOP finishes on May 24th. That means I'd 1) have basically no time/break before the first event 2) would miss the main event due to flying on the 24thand 3) the way this challenge works won't know my profit until the day I fly meaning it would be more difficult to sell.

Pretty annoying set back!

Today I'm going to start soon and register every good mtt on stars until the b162. I'll add zoom tables once I'm 1 tabling. Obvious highlight of the day is the Super Tuesday.

Going to post one "cool" hand in here every day.

I would strongly recommend getting a house with a few friends who 1. drive and 2. play similar to you schedule wise. It's nice to be away from the casinos when you arent playing.

The nut option is palms place . It's like a studio apt mega baller and pretty damn cheap compared to hotel prices . My buddy stayed. 40 days for. 3800 total. . Last year I stayed MGM signiture the 3 gold tower next to MGM like the palm place I paid 3500 for. 29 days and 1k return deposit . Both way better options then hotels and fell more homie. Palm place the nuts as you get away from the action but yet still in it

GL!

Regarding your SHR analysis, sometimes I also see "mistakes" some of the supposed really good players make, but then I try to convince myself that they're probably just changing their style in order to exploit their opponents leaks in certain spots. Are you sure they're lacking on fundamentals or do you agree with me in parts?

Personally I think if you have the chance to rent a house with some mates it's the only way to go. Living in a casino sounds decent on the surface but I think it becomes draining very quickly for a handful of reasons.

1. Casinos are depressing places in general. The vast majority of people in them are losing money which makes them miserable to be around even if you're coming in off a bink the atmosphere in a casino can drag you straight down.

2. Living in Vegas for the summer isn't all about just making money imho. I think that should be priority #1 but if you don't walk away from that summer with some memories of night with your mates I think you're doing it wrong. Also living in a house with friends is going to be by far your cheapest option. Someone mentioned in this thread they stayed in a hotel for $3800 for two months. I rented a four bedroom house with a pool a grill area for $4500 for two months and split it with a rotation group.

3. Living in a house with mates gives you so many more options. You have a group of friends to go play some sports with or go day clubbing with or whatever it is that you may want to do without having to fly solo or organize a group of people do said activities with. Which in the summer in Vegas is near impossible to with when it comes to poker players.

4. Nothing breaks tilt more than being able to come home to a group of sympathetic ears. Being able to crack a beer and steam to them or just talk out hands is far better than walking back through a smoke filled, depressing casino to stew in your room by yourself. It's also easier to find motivation when you have other people around you making runs or getting out to play on days you're not feeling it.

5. Speaking of smoke, it's going to get on everything. Your clothes, bags and hair will all reek of stale second hand smoke for your entire trip. Wake up, shower to feel all fresh and then put on smoke filled clothes, thanks but no thanks.

6. Food, having a fridge full of healthy options or just food you choose to eat it such a luxury compared to constantly having to eat out. Hunting out healthy options when staying in a casino is close to impossible so you can plan on feeling like crap for the majority of the trip.

7. Lastly, and this one is a bit cheesy, but I think it might be the most important one. The bonds you will make with living with people that are in your world will be lasting ones. It's awesome to know people that play poker and have friends in and around the game, but living with someone with concrete the foundation of what tends to be lasting friendships. I know it's different for non Americans but for someone like me that is on an island 10 months out of the year it's refreshing to be surrounded by people doing the same thing you are and can relate to everyday life as poker player.

There are plenty of cons, we had a car and might have two this summer so waiting for taxi's won't be one of them but I can see that being a big one for most people. Finding people you like and/or trust to live with is another big one as well obv. But in the end I think it's better to be around other people than to put yourself on an island but to each their own. Just thought I would offer my two cents.

Gotta say the poster above me makes it real easy for you to choose a house with friends.

You've plenty of time to learn how to drive. Go do it! You can be done in a month if you do a few one hour lessons a week. Then use the money you'll save on hotels to rent a car for the summer.

Driving is such a life plus. You'll be amazed at how the world opens up when you can drive.
