Against good players I wouldn't lead anything since your value range is ultra thin and BB has a clear range advantage overall.

Really? I love the lead. Id lead here with all sets, 2p etc. A lead here is super strong. And probably the Ax flush draw.

Re: Pads1161 #bracelethunting

I said "against good players" implying you'd want to be balanced and protect your check range. It would be very difficult to construct strong balanced check and donk ranges on that texture. Since your value range is so narrow I don't think you have enough to split it up and since most of the time you miss I think it's better for everything to go in the check range.

Against weak players / unknowns sure, go ahead and lead all day with nutted hands.

No but some picked up pair/king high/better q highs. I'm jamming all fds on the flop so have to have something super optimistic.

Re: Pads1161 #bracelethunting

Didn't play tonight and likely won't play very much this week at all either. Using it as abit of a rest to get super prepared mentally for Malta.

I'm definitely playing the 25k on Wednesday, so that's pretty exciting.

I've been thinking about doing more kind of promotional stuff such as twitch/video blogs/strat videos/blogging/writing articles. Not sure exactly what I'm going to do but I'll probably either go full out or not do it at all.

Going to have a 5a side team in budapest with two French friends, european and then a couple of others. All of the games are recorded so will post them in here, should be pretty fun.

What do you guys think is the best way to be at the table?

Negreanu style, talking to everybody, speaking when it's his decision, speaking when others are thinking, never headphones and basically very involved

Mercier style, don't go out to speak but if anybody speaks just have flowing conversation. Sometimes wear headphones if he feels like it.

Kitai style, speak to nobody, look like ice cold killer, have headphones in and be very unapproachable from others.

Wondering about how to proceed over the next 4 months of love tournaments and was intrigued what others thought was good about each style and what tthe General consensus was which was was the best.

This came from me potentially partaking in a no soeaking except to the dealer for the entire WSOP when at the table. I was saying I thought t could potentially be +ev but others thought that there was 9 way that it could be.

Whatever comes naturally IMO. Just be yourself. There are very few with the kind of presence that Dnegs has.

Just don't be Jerry Yang

it really depends on what you want to achieve, I cant stand small talk but a bit more of "air time" cant hurt.

Re: Pads1161 #bracelethunting

Take the line that is closest to your normal behavior. This will be easiest to achieve and give off the fewest tells (slight changes in behavior).

GL and thanks for the thread!

now we only need to figure out a bookie that takes your games into the portfolio, must be team #alwayswinning with you and €urop€an on

+1 to just do what comes naturally, for me the mercier-style fits best as there's moments where I have to get back to fully focussing so I put headphones on and don't talk for maybe an hour or w/e, obv still listening to the free info on the table.

Re: Pads1161 #bracelethunting

In general I think headphones should be a last resort. I used to listen to music whenever I played live but now I just use it when someone at the table really tilts me and I don't want to hear/interact with them at all.

Amateurs play poker because it's fun for them, I've had several people that play poker for fun that have told me they don't enjoy themselves when they sit at the table with 8 guys listening to music and saying nothing. Everyone is different and not everyone needs human interaction to have an enjoyable time playing but I've never heard anyone say they had a ton of fun playing with 8 silent opponents. I'm not saying you should be extremely talkative but at least be approachable to the people that aren't playing seriously since it can have a positive effect on your bottom line long term.

Re: Pads1161 #bracelethunting

For the first time in over 1 year, maybe 2? I've taken 5 days completely off. I had a session with Elliot roe (hypnotherapy and mental game coach) I thought a lot about poker and areas I want/need to improve and I'm ready for ****ing war today. I'm glad the clocks don't gonforward because I'm not sure I could wait even an extra hour.

Vam fkn os boys.

Milly ship is bold predict, but a milly, B109, 100r and SuperSonic deep run (FTs or F2T) highly probable
