Bust out hand wasn't really interesting. I open 12,000 at 5kbb, button 3bets to 37,000. I have T8cc and ofc call.

Flop J92cxx, I check, he bets 40k, I shove 160k, he has AJ. Turned Kc but too many outs otr.

Was very happy with how I played throughout, was very focused and played aggressive throughout. Made one pretty big mistake though I think.

River AJ54Jccxcx I bottled 2.5x pot jamming the river putting her all in which I think is very clearly the best play in hindsight. I wasn't really holding back in any spot though, so not many regrets, should have just taken this one spot, not sure why I didn't really.

Table was completely insane, definitely toughest table in the room, one of the toughest tables this summer I would imagine.

hey can you talk a little about why you like jamming the river for 2.5x so much? you imagine she folds Jx a lot and she can't really have a boat or a flush? it's nice to block QJ/JT here but you also have to be pretty sure she's going to fold the remaining combos in order to do this eh?

In spots such as the one above two things are going on:

A) by checking turn villain is basically saying his strongest hands on river are strong Jx type hands as both flushes and hands that are boats (with maybe the exception of AJ) double barrel the turn a bunch

B) we get to the river with infinite flushes and all Jx which want to get massive value AND have a number of hands that are interested in bluffing to get the weak bluffcatcher a like Ax and such likes to fold and by betting normal considering the number of bluffs we have we don't achieve that well enough

So we bet big and big is anywhere from full pot to maximum with most of our betting range. With extra reads one could reason that jamming is the better size for getting folds and smaller to get called with our nuts exploitatively or vice versa but generally speaking the size for our river betting range wants to be huge

Isn't this a questionable spot to go for the overbet sizing on river? Since when we x/c AJ5ccx and it comes xc turn/ Jx river we don't actually end up with THAT many bluffs otr? And our Jx can't size this huge for value or she will obv fold all Ax and she has the strongest Jx in her range which may call or fold vs an overbet which seems like a disaster. Do we have a wider bluffing range than missed gutters otr? Are we x/c 23s/43s otf, only with bdfd? (apparently turn is a 4 as well) Do we ever turn pp's or weak Ax into a bluff?

I'm guessing you call most pp's on flop, 43s or at least with bdfd, all high gutters and turn all of those into bluffs along with maaaybe some weak Ax? (Ax doesn't seem necessary to me but trying to get a clue )

Last week has gone pretty great. Think I played two tournament ($3k 6max and $3k PLO 6max) but have been on probably biggest cash heater of life up good 5 figure amount. Unfortunately the games I'm playing in aren't accessible in casinos so can't speak about them in much detail at all :/

$3k 6max I busted 88 v kq
$3k PLO I busted with pair + sd + fd to busy and also lost AAhhcc on kj75hhcc

No complaining at all though, really loving life. Good to start Vegas with big upswing rather than chase losses but also does mean I'm less motivated to grind 1ks and 1500s which are good value because my hourly in the private cash games have been so great. This week is 5k 6max and 10k 6max which I'm really looking forward to.

we have been super healthy so far, we've been to the gym every day, starting to play Rawuetball which I'm terrible at, but it's great for stamina and cardio. Football team had our first game last week.
