I'm playing 9-12 tables, preferably 9 because I'm on a crap PC with a sh*tty monitor hopefully I can afford a decent setup at some point. Anyway, I'm aiming for 8k+ games either way. Starting off kinda slow and I also have a week of snowboarding coming up begin feb, but I'm hoping to compensate that by grinding harder in other months (scooopppp for example )

Mehhh day yesterday, couldn't really get anything going and ended up one-tabling the 13.50$KO w 1900 up top but was hard to find spots to pick up chips w being card dead the whole time. Eventually I cold4-shoved AQo vs unknown opener and very aggro 3b, to get called by the opener's AA (I had a feeling he was gonna snap me off after seeing no stats on him and agreeing with myself it's good to get in AQ vs that 3b-range and unknown MP opening range ) and finished in 30th.

Wasn't really feeling the grind even tho I didn't play bad or anything, but only got in 36 games for a ~$250 loss. Need to grind out more volume today!

Noticed a little loss of focus in the last couple of hours, which may have cost me a bit. Can't let that happen again! On the bright side, volume was good and I really am running like crap so can't do much about that

Not many notable scores yesterday obv, took 20th in both a 16.50$ 8max and a 4.40$ 4max, finished 93rd in big 33 after QQ<AK and K7(2bb stack) for a top ten stack and took about 12bb's to a phase 2 tourney. High hopes

Last two days were zzzzzzzz

Lost part of my saturday session due to internet problems, which made me lose about 120$ worth in buyins. Decided to just go out saturdaynight bc I was really frustrated

Put in a low-volume Sunday session with some decent runs but nothing really big. Made a run w those 12bb in Phase 2 to eventually finish 62nd for like ~$125; lost JJ<AQ aipf to get crippled there

Then ran deepish in the bigger 8.8$ and 22$ but no dice. Got 660th~in 22 and finished around 280th in 8.8$ after JJ<TT for 70bb

Yearly profit is around ~600$ for now, let's bink something big this week!

So, been a while since I've updated.. Sorry for that, been very sick for 3-4 days with constant throwing up etc.. which lead to me barely playing this week. The times I did play it went awful though. I'm in the midst of the worst downswing of my life (been treated well before, so def due for it anyway ) and trying to grind my way out. Had one tiny winning day this week I think.

Soooo, let's evaluate what is going wrong atm:

- I'm running worse than I've ever ran

- Lack of focus slips into my play sometimes, with rare moments of just poor play. I'm mad with myself when I notice this, and really try to fight autopiloting etc.. I'm not playing bad due to tilt (barring a few spitecalls) so that's a plus

- Lowish volume due to sickness, visiting gf, going out

- Not doing well on my exercise/lay off weed goals, which I think are the hardest for me. No excuses here, just have to generate more willpower to actually do it! I'd probably be going into sessions with a slightly better mindset if I crush these goals as well


I've decided to cut a bit into the highest limits from my schedule starting today. Will be playing the big 33 as my top buyin only max. 3 times a week, may include the 44$ on Sunday. Further, I'll be playing less 22's and more 11-15$ and below.

Let's hope I can bink something soon, I'd be really happy even if it's something small Bricked a pretty big Sunday yesterday.

BTW, don't have the hh but I shotted the bigger 55 yesterday (missed the 33&44) and I was out in 20mins lol. I had 57s and defended bb v sb, called 78Kr, called 7 turn, and valueshoved over a 2/3 psb on a really blank river (2 or 3). I think it's fine but maybe calling river is better? I shoved like 2k over 853 bet or sth like that, thought ppl might level themselves into calling Kx, AA but prob not he snapped 78 zzz

Have never played anything significant live. I know there are some 20€ deepstack tourneys in Lint, might be playing a few of those but not sure

So, yesterday was a blessing! Apparently a friend of mine was having a birthday party in Gent so I was looking at another low volume day (theme of the thread). Regged pretty low and the only 22$+ I regged was the 27$ 6max progressive superKO.

Started off with a clear mind and feeling ready, despite the big downswing I felt eager to play. Midsession I felt good about having some stacks, and it seemed like I was actually a favourite to make money After I stone bubbled the 5$2r1a w KK vs a fish's 66 on J6xcc, I was left with stacks in the $5.50 1000cap and the $27 6max. Thankfully, I outright shipped the latter
Didn't have time to screenshot the lobby yesterday, which is a shame because I love binklobbies

The late stages were pretty tough actually. I chatted a bit with ismo<3seppo and he turns out to be a real nice guy imo, even loosely chatted a bit about strat there, which I don't think is great but I enjoyed it He ended up not making the FT; which was, even tho I enjoyed playing with him, definitely not bad for my EV

The FT is where it got pretty tricky. I think the blinds were 4/8k going in and the table was set up sth like this:

Passive fish: 95k
Passive fish: 120k
Passive fish: 140k
Don't remember but either passive fish or weakish TAG: 110k
Me: 400k
Good aggro reg: 950k

So yeah, while the fish were folding their way into oblivion; I was stuck dealing with the bastard on my left who obv was happy to put me in spots all the time Felt like I dealt pretty well with it tbh, I got away with a few light 4b's and had pretty good timing in playing back, which kept me at 35bb+ while the shorties gradually started to realize they probably shouldn't be anteing right down to nothing like the 3-handed PAD episode w Hellmuth, Laak and Esfandiari

3-handed I made one ill-timed bluffraise vs a fish which had me at 22bb, but ran it up w/o showdown and got HU with the tough reg w stacks being 800k for me and 1.2M for him (not entirely accurate obv).

Actually can't remember what hand gave me the CL as I'm typing it out now But not long into the HU I lost K3<J9s FTW, and after that I shoved Qc7x over a flop cbet on Axxccc, he called Ax6c and I binked the turn which felt absolutely amazing Final score w bounties was $2700 and change

I'm very happy with my play in the endfase (results tell everything you know ) and verrrry relieved to snap the downswing for now (nojynx). There really is nothing like outright shipping an MTT
