Would it be worth doing with so little money currently in my roll?

Just wanted to make an update. Still living in Florida and working an 8-5 job. I have zero debt and have saved 8000. Thinking about making the move to playing full time very soon, mainly because the games in Fl are so great. Figure the worst thing that happens is I don’t make it and have to get a job again which is where I am now anyways.

Anybody out there play full time in Florida?

I wanted to update this thread as a lot has changed in my life and still am very interested in making the jump. I had moved back home during covid and was working multiple jobs working from home and was able to get my life roll to a very good spot. I currently sit with $25k in savings and $0 debt.

I have recently moved back to Florida for a position that pays close to the six figures range for the first time in my life. I am saving money like a mad man but still have those feelings like I wanna stop working and grind it full time. I just think there is no way to to leave something this good so will continue the grind live and locally when I can.

I guess I've morphed into the weekend warrior for now.....

Funny to read back on this thread as my life has changed so much since making this. Currently working a job that pays 6 figures for the first time in my life. Saving like crazy and almost have enough money saved to pay cash for a house. Still play poker on the weekends, the game has changed a lot since starting this but I still enjoy it.

Good luck to all trying to grind for a living, life took me on a different path and not so sure its a doable thing at small stakes anymore.
