long time no update.
new goal:
1095
3 years of working on this. Started at NL5 with a BR of 82,64 €
(don't ask why). Will add another 100 € next month.
For the first part my goals are the following:
- play NL5 until I get to 200 €, then move up to NL10, drop down if I get below 150 €.
- Play 4 Reg tables, focus to play in the evenings, also player longer sessions, to get more "reads"/Table dynamics (No Huds allowed).
- start to work on Dailygtodose (will check this out, hadn't heard of it before, will give it a try).
- Don't quit if sessions go bad, just ride it out.
- ask for study feedback...
I am looking for study recommendations! What would you recommend to check out? I have been a RIO subscriber, but found there videos to be all over the place. It felt very difficult to follow a path from A-Z. Felt overwhelmed maybe.
Should I post hands here or in another thread?
The goal is to be consistent with Poker (and this thread). It doesn't need to be perfect, I just need to stick with it and keep at it.
I really admire people that set longterm goals and consistently work on these. I am one of those, that constantly switches things up, but no more!
Current Life goals besides Poker:
- have shoulder surgery (weee, but it's necessary)
- increase VO2Max, right now it's at 47. Want to get to the purple level on my Garmin watch
- practice swedish daily (get some certificates, checking out options currently) --> I want to move there.
- become better at "deep work", by making slow progress
For the 3 years the starting date was yesterday (22.5.2024), the end is the 22nd of May 2027. I don't want to set goals with regards to stakes or winrates, but just that I keep on improving, continue posting in this thread and work consistently on achieving my dreams. I don't need to achieve everything right away, it is fine to suck/ make mistakes, as long as I stick with it.
1/1095 done. 2/1095 is today, will play once son is asleep.
