I'm hoping to give this a go if all goes to plan. I'll need to move up in stakes relatively early on in the year but I guess it's good to have something to aim for.

I might as well hop in this thread too. I've never made it but also have never played much on Stars. I've decided to give Stars 100% of my play in 2011 so bye bye FTP.

i will never play again for the purpose of earning VPPs but will definitely put in massive volume. im just not sure on which site yet (most likely some combination). the first 2 months i plan to be on SNE pace and compare $/hour and go from there.

I think it's strange that you're going back to PlatinumStar on October 1st if you're on track to make Supernova again. It would be fair if people who have 75,000 VPP on October 1st can keep their status just as a reward and to prevent people from rushing like madmen in December.

That's about how it worked last year -- you didn't even have to buy in on PokerStars.com. Satellite winners received this benefit as well.

There's no guarantees as to what the incentive might be this year, however. It's changed a little bit each of the past few years.

Will be playing 25nlfr to start, and will move up stakes slowly and surely like in past(but no going busto in tourneys this time)
