I'm 22 years old from southern IL, I have been playing poker since 2009, I always kind of liked the game watching my father have homes games etc. but I didnt actually start playing poker until I went to prison in 2009 (Sad right?) Before then I did play some freerolls and micro games on Fulltilt and Stars (Still underage.) When I was released from prison I actually gained a passion for playing, (I literally played poker from the time we got up and let into the dayroom until lock down, everyday.) I searched online and found american friendly poker rooms like BCP/ACR, Bovada etc. I have been studying MTTS and have really strictly been a MTT grinder for the past couple years. I'm also looking into getting in live mtts in ST. Louis (the biggest city closest to me.)

So what happened? Most of my roll was on BCP and well ... I had no type of BRM and recently busted my couple hundred left on there.

Life problems also got me low on money so only spare money I had laying around was $27, I heard good things about bovada and decided to deposit it there.

Played a $2.20 BI - $1k GTD ReBuy and cashed now my roll is $53.13

I want to keep track of my progress here and see what I can turn this into during the month of november. Will use some form of BRM but it is not the standard until I get a bigger BR and then I will reevaluate my BRM.

Guidelines:

<$150 - No MTTs over $5.50
>$150 through $300 - No MTTs over $11
>$300 - No MTTs over $22

I can play any satty into a bigger tourney as long as BI is within these lines.

I also like to watch sports and do a little sports betting, mostly for a sweat and for fun, and most of my bets are in parlay forms.

So a little BRM for sportsbetting if you will...

<$100 - No more than $1 on one parlay and no more than $3 worth of parlays a day
>$100 through $250 - No more than $2 on one parlay and no more than $6 worth of parlays a day
>$300 - No more than $4 on one parlay adn no more than $10 worth of parlays a day

Played a $4.40 Satty for $33 ticket and busted that one earlier.

Did something I need to NOT do often, I played some PLO 6-max cash, small profit for the day there.

careful with how big of buy ins you're doing for MTTs with your bankroll

Yeah I know the BRM is poor, but this is also a challenge for myself to perform and think more in my MTTs knowing that I'm working with a shallow roll trying to come up.
