Nothing and Everything
Very nice read, I'll subscribe to this.
I only play small field MTTs on stars, GG is not available in my country. How do you compare quality of the games between the two sites?
Also how many MTTs do you play per day (session) and how many tables at the same time? 7.5 ev bb/100 is very impressive at 350$ ABI, do you play small field size or also massive field tournies?
Thanks for answering!

During series i was grinding 8-10 tables while 6-8 in the daily schedule. I have never played anything in off peak hours if this is what you mean smaller field neither i played in any other platform other than gg and ps. My schedule was starting when 530$ bounty started on ggpoker which was the first big mtt of the day. That was 2330 Thai time which took a toll on me grinding midnight+, is the only reason i tried to learn plo and the reason why i will grind off peak hours from now on. I cant see myself grinding this schedule again unless we have series or i move in a different time zone
I had my first normal session yesterday, loading only in acr trying to configure jurojin. Unfortunately, there is an issue with the trial through affiliator and i couldnt make it work. Support told me they contacted the tech team and they will get to me shortly, happened 12 hours ago, my best guess is people have different definition about shortly. My target was to setup one room every two days with chico network next. It will take more time
Anyway, since i was loading already, i grinded 9 hrs acr only and loading anything between 11$-88$. It doesnt feel i didnt play mtts for one year. They were definitely spots i felt rusty mainly 3way spots and 3bet pots. 3way there is a lot of ev to be gained and i studied them extensively with simple3way, 3bet pots were never my strongest part but i was taking a look here and there. Anyway, session felt good, very happy to see a streamer marking me as fish, the same garbage reg had me as fish in gg, only if he knew i made high six figures in 4 years from mtts while printing on ev bb and running significantly bellow. Shows the level of these ignorant low stakes regs, much love though <3
Some trivial spot, my plan was to write about three, maybe next time
LJ rfi (russian, seems active, dont have my hud yet, dont know vpip pfr), i have KQo and i decide to 3bet from HJ 50bb eff. FLOP is 643r and i decide to check. At that point i had many tables up and since i didnt grind for long time, my brain was already strained, i thought it should be a high cbet frequency spot but not range and KQo should be checking at least some time especially if we dont block the bdfd which i didnt. Was i sure? No
If i had a little bit more time to think i would have prefered a bet for two reasons
1) When we know this is a high frequency cbet (overpair advantage + neither range hits this board well etc) is better to make a mistake in the highest frequency line
2) Russians are notorious for probing the turns when flopped is checked and this is magnified the lower the skill of the reg. The main question here is why they think like this about the game? Overall population is overprobing the turn at all stakes, why this particular nation is doing it, in a more extreme way? The best way to answer this is looking how people of the same nation are playing IP as aggressors when they have the opportunity to cbet the flop, frequency and range construction
For the two reasons above i think cbetting is superior to checking. There is the argument that maybe people miss xraises or fold a bit more but the defending on this board is so trivial that i find it hard to believe
Cbet strategy:
Defense:
Now the question i have is how much ev i will lose if
1) I play with 1 size (answer is 0.12% ev loss of the pot, with single optimal size 22%)
2) What size i can/if i can range cbet against the gto solution and if i am happy to take that loss
If i want to have 1 size 22% is the optimal, while range betting producing an ev loss i am happy to take it for two reasons
1) the counter strategy is nearly impossible to implement with villain xraing over 40%
2) the ev loss is not that big
Overall nothing big happened, i am kinda suprised how slow is the progress in acr's mtts, in gg it feels boom boom and you are on the next stage. I had a couple of gg's table on the side and the difference is obvious. Anyway good session, good ev and 1.5k+ profit, good start
The bad
1) I missed some double barrels and i did make some obvious 3way mistakes (bb leading on spots it shouldnt) not sure if it was laziness or i got tired
2) In the end of the session i felt exhausted, i went for a run and felt better but overall the grind was a grind
The good
1) It feels i missed playing mtts, it felt natural playing this format again (unlike plo which felt completely unatural, spins were meh even though i had 65cev or so in 1200 games).
2) It feels really good to work in the morning, rain, coffee and poker
3) I couldnt sleep at night, i wanted to do one more session which is shocking to feel like this about a game which i am playing 12 years. I slept and i actually dreamed grinding. I cant wait to have all the platforms up and ready to go

I have finished the mistborn book series https://www.amazon.com/Mistborn-Fina.../dp/0765350386 I dont know why they have 1 of 7 but only the first 3 are connected
First book was excellent, could be a stand alone book
Second book was entertaining and i didnt get bored. Some people will disagree for sure
Third book, i didnt like. The ending was perfect but the first 500 pages could be written in a span of 200 pages, which was increasingly annoying
Tomorrow study day, need to take a look at some 3 handed play and some preflop stuff. Hopefully jurojin will get back to me shortly otherwise i will try stackntile

I am still having issue with jurojin, works fine with wpn but not with n8 or ipoker. Propably I will try stack n tile since jurojin support isn’t very good. On the good news I feel comfortable with wpn’s software which is surprisingly good. I used to play only on ggpoker and I was reluctant to play in other networks since my only experience with smaller companies was party poker, which they have an absolutely garbage of a software. Ipoker and wpn have surprisingly smooth performance
I will add wpt global and chico network this month, no volume goals because it takes me more time to get familiar with certain software
Wpn is top notch
Ipoker same
Coinpoker I don’t like that much, even though it seems smooth, I find difficult to follow the action
Abi still very low but slowly getting back to rhythm. I feel I lost a year trying to learn plo since mtts feel so natural. I am still trying to figure what is the best time to grind, opinions vary
I did a blunder in a ft, mainly playing too fast and i didnt observe the stack sizes after a player busted, live and learn to click buttons slower

I am very happy i can grind morning again, i feel 25 years old, training every day, enjoy the grind and having fun all around. Only minor thing is the stakes, which are super low and not competitive but i guess i have to make some sacrifices now, for my health
I bought the book bellow, will post reviews

Take care
Brazilians own my soul lately

I missed playing against these russian 30$ endbosses who need to timebank for a flop decision
I just had a session where i ran 7 times into AA aipf in 8 tournies, forgot how it feels to have absolute trash ev bb /100
Anyone knows whats up with those turbo mtts in wpn where they have 28-30 preregistered people with 20 of them, located in russia, kazak, azer, ukrain and belarus?
Honorable mention to our friends from russia who never fail to dissapoint, using their timebanks to bet the flop
Things you dont see live
I had a very interesting multiway spot from today, i need to run it and post the results and adjustments, clearly got outplayed and i loved it. I still have issues with jurojin, support is dissapointing unfortunately, i will try another multitabling company

Spoiler:
biggest problem in mtts cant be bots it needs be stables
those stables boys basically have some dude grinding the sims for them which exploit a field x in ICM spots , datamining etc. involved
this is allright sure it eats up ur EV if ur not a staked player playing for some stable,.. but then the same guys are sitting on those fields like 30% is stable x boys , then 30% is stable y, then 10% is fish and rest is bots and then theres the odd dude playing with his own money...
so the stable x boys have already this deal that they get bankroll they get the data on which hand to push all in in which spot etc. so then they see eachother at the games all time so what does makes us not to think that guys who are A) broke and playing with bankroll from someone else B) know each others would not be making all kinds of funny soft plays to get themselves more often to score nicely in a game that is the highest form of variance game in poker

Small middle of the month update
Some mental issues are coming up which i didnt experience before. I sabotage myself. I was expecting low abi mtts to be more competitive but anything bellow 100$s, even up to 200$, the level is atrocious. I am catching myself been lazy, thinking i can gather back any ev i will lose. If i was taking the stakes more seriously i would avoid these mistakes
and there are 20 more examples of myself torching bbs. Despite that fact, ev bb /100 is decent this month
Which leads to complacency. I have never had a similar issue when i was playing professionally. I became lazy with my study routine and my thought process when working, making lazy calls, incautious plays. I took 1.5 year off from mtts, now i am coming back expecting to barely have 5 ev bb / 100 and hitting 3 times that. I need to find a way to motivate myself to keep studying and grinding seriously even if i create unrealistic expectations for myself. What would be an unrealistic expectation? Maybe hitting 20 ev bb / 100. I am thinking this is propably not even sustainable but at least i will have a target to work. Now i am just floating in a sea full of fishes

I still have issues with playing in different platforms. I added chico and my head is spinning. MIssing many value mtts. Next addition should be wptg. I wonder if i should just play stackntile instead of tile but i do enjoy the tile mode. Main issue is capping myself to 8 tables. Even sacrificing 5ev bb/100 would produce more $$$. Atm ev bb / 100 is satisfying, i expected a more difficult return but i am grateful that is not the case
Unfortunately i have been extremely lazy since the fields arent challenging, i have studied theory less than 7 hours. Even during the grind i find myself been lazy thinker leading to some blunders which is unacceptable. I always create thresholds for exploits which are not depending on mda and they work better in real life situations and i have some rules in order to not cross the max threshold i am creating, yet as seen in the hand above i go bananas sometimes
Overall i am very happy with the dynamics. I have a ton of people doing nonsense plays against me who are winning regs and then are posting 5 emoticons in row when 1 out of 10 plays are working fine. I have never saw so many nonsense probes in my life. I wonder if there is some mda shtgroup telling ''guys when they check we bet twice oop'' **** hands, **** boards, **** ranges. I dont understand.

If i had to pick the optimal life would be something like, wake up, theory 1-2hrs, gym, mtt session, study 1-2 hours, muay thai/football, relax with gf. It is a very doable schedule for me, since i sleep 6 hours max. I just find myself in a mood to just grind without studying much which is a clear mistake since i dont have any further growth. Also taking 1 year off from mtts means i have severe holes in my game, especially multiway which is one of the more complicated aspects of the game and i was very strong before

Honorable mention to the Pablos of this world that they need 40 secs to check the flop in a texture that sb clearly has donking strategy but they cant find the board quickly enough, much love <3
Also taking 1 year off from mtts means i have severe holes in my game, especially multiway which is one of the more complicated aspects of the game and i was very strong before
Gotta love all these clubs going up 0-1 0-2 on Bernabeu, like we dont know the ****** story

I thought it was a funny sequency and i wanted to share since this never happened to me before
Some very weird things are happening the last 10 days in acr. I was winning near 10k within 1.5 month in that platform, obviously running good, but the last 10 days i observe many weird things. In a field of 200 people, i had a mix americans, brazil, russians the standard table. I was big blind, i played my hand, after my hand finished i got transfered playing the big blind again with only russian accounts on a 8handed table. This happened twice in different tournaments with 150+ entries actively playing which i find bizarre
I also take some strange snap calls from winning regs

I doubt any reg can be so off and i assume this is on purpose. Now there are two questions
1) Are these planted accounts from acr in order to hit the gtds and purposely making variance bigger in order to reentry?
2) Are these some group of people sharing bankrolls, so the incentive to bust me is bigger?

I am up a bit in ggpoker, breakeven on chico but i do a ton of misclicks. I find it extremely difficult to grind in different platforms at the same time and i didnt even add wptg. I was always a grinder of 6-8 table max and playing in ggpoker which has the best software. Also the selection was limited in my abi and i had to play anything above 100$. Now the selection is huge and i am kinda lost
Real Madrid underperforming severly atm, i was expecting to be issues with Mbappe since he is a top player but lazy and you need your striker to be hard working. Every time i saw him playing as striker in PSG or France he was equally bad from the mental aspect but i believed Ancelotti would find a solution. If the defense improves, they have a real chance in champions league but not in la liga
I thought this would be the easiest premier of man city this year but Rodri getting injured changes things dramatically. I dont think he is the best player in the world but i do think he is the best man city player and propably the most crucial due to his position. Now i have no idea what will happen. Arsenal easily the most overrated team in premier league, ''trust the process'', it is 4 years spending a lot of money winning nothing. Quite funny how man utd is blundering the managers. They had Mourinho instead of trusting him and spend money with him they preferred to do it with some dude from the dutch league. During the summer they could have Flick, Mourinho or Conte, all of them absolute world class managers but they decided to keep someone who is finishing 6-7 in the league and disprected the second best player of all time. I will never understand this team. Chelsea looking fresh is a pleasant surprise, Liverpool looking good but this was expected since Klopp left a healthy team
Triton is on the way and my three favourite players are playing
Mikita, Eibinger and Pardo
Acr running a fantasy league promo for this event which is a nice idea. I hope gg does something similar in the future. I forgot how fun is the mtt grind when you do it in regular times. I can see myself playing at night any time soon unless i move in another country. I enjoy sleeping like a normal person and it shows in my mood. Grinding midnight until morning took its toll the past 5 years
