I only play small field MTTs on stars, GG is not available in my country. How do you compare quality of the games between the two sites?
Also how many MTTs do you play per day (session) and how many tables at the same time? 7.5 ev bb/100 is very impressive at 350$ ABI, do you play small field size or also massive field tournies?

Thanks for answering!
My pokerstars winrate was higher the last two years than gg, i didnt play the daily schedule in ps though since gg prizepool >>>>>>>>>>>> ps. It was probably due to slower structure and not the quality of the games. I have no idea what is going on bellow 100$, if i had to take a guess i would assume ggpoker is softer in lower stakes and same or harder in higher stakes (due to unlimited rebuy, so you end up itm with only regs or reg to fish ratio a lot lower than in pokerstars) Pokerstars slower structure provide the opportunity for higher winrates. You can see twitch and most of the time 18 left in ggpoker has average stack 18-25bb while in ps is 25-40bb
During series i was grinding 8-10 tables while 6-8 in the daily schedule. I have never played anything in off peak hours if this is what you mean smaller field neither i played in any other platform other than gg and ps. My schedule was starting when 530$ bounty started on ggpoker which was the first big mtt of the day. That was 2330 Thai time which took a toll on me grinding midnight+, is the only reason i tried to learn plo and the reason why i will grind off peak hours from now on. I cant see myself grinding this schedule again unless we have series or i move in a different time zone
I had my first normal session yesterday, loading only in acr trying to configure jurojin. Unfortunately, there is an issue with the trial through affiliator and i couldnt make it work. Support told me they contacted the tech team and they will get to me shortly, happened 12 hours ago, my best guess is people have different definition about shortly. My target was to setup one room every two days with chico network next. It will take more time
Anyway, since i was loading already, i grinded 9 hrs acr only and loading anything between 11$-88$. It doesnt feel i didnt play mtts for one year. They were definitely spots i felt rusty mainly 3way spots and 3bet pots. 3way there is a lot of ev to be gained and i studied them extensively with simple3way, 3bet pots were never my strongest part but i was taking a look here and there. Anyway, session felt good, very happy to see a streamer marking me as fish, the same garbage reg had me as fish in gg, only if he knew i made high six figures in 4 years from mtts while printing on ev bb and running significantly bellow. Shows the level of these ignorant low stakes regs, much love though <3
Some trivial spot, my plan was to write about three, maybe next time
LJ rfi (russian, seems active, dont have my hud yet, dont know vpip pfr), i have KQo and i decide to 3bet from HJ 50bb eff. FLOP is 643r and i decide to check. At that point i had many tables up and since i didnt grind for long time, my brain was already strained, i thought it should be a high cbet frequency spot but not range and KQo should be checking at least some time especially if we dont block the bdfd which i didnt. Was i sure? No
If i had a little bit more time to think i would have prefered a bet for two reasons
1) When we know this is a high frequency cbet (overpair advantage + neither range hits this board well etc) is better to make a mistake in the highest frequency line
2) Russians are notorious for probing the turns when flopped is checked and this is magnified the lower the skill of the reg. The main question here is why they think like this about the game? Overall population is overprobing the turn at all stakes, why this particular nation is doing it, in a more extreme way? The best way to answer this is looking how people of the same nation are playing IP as aggressors when they have the opportunity to cbet the flop, frequency and range construction
For the two reasons above i think cbetting is superior to checking. There is the argument that maybe people miss xraises or fold a bit more but the defending on this board is so trivial that i find it hard to believe
Cbet strategy:
Defense:
Now the question i have is how much ev i will lose if
1) I play with 1 size (answer is 0.12% ev loss of the pot, with single optimal size 22%)
2) What size i can/if i can range cbet against the gto solution and if i am happy to take that loss
If i want to have 1 size 22% is the optimal, while range betting producing an ev loss i am happy to take it for two reasons
1) the counter strategy is nearly impossible to implement with villain xraing over 40%
2) the ev loss is not that big
Overall nothing big happened, i am kinda suprised how slow is the progress in acr's mtts, in gg it feels boom boom and you are on the next stage. I had a couple of gg's table on the side and the difference is obvious. Anyway good session, good ev and 1.5k+ profit, good start
The bad
1) I missed some double barrels and i did make some obvious 3way mistakes (bb leading on spots it shouldnt) not sure if it was laziness or i got tired
2) In the end of the session i felt exhausted, i went for a run and felt better but overall the grind was a grind
The good
1) It feels i missed playing mtts, it felt natural playing this format again (unlike plo which felt completely unatural, spins were meh even though i had 65cev or so in 1200 games).
2) It feels really good to work in the morning, rain, coffee and poker
3) I couldnt sleep at night, i wanted to do one more session which is shocking to feel like this about a game which i am playing 12 years. I slept and i actually dreamed grinding. I cant wait to have all the platforms up and ready to go
If you know any other good threads with mtters please drop them here
Spoiler:
Please dont drop whatever garbage thread you find
I have finished the mistborn book series https://www.amazon.com/Mistborn-Fina.../dp/0765350386 I dont know why they have 1 of 7 but only the first 3 are connected
First book was excellent, could be a stand alone book
Second book was entertaining and i didnt get bored. Some people will disagree for sure
Third book, i didnt like. The ending was perfect but the first 500 pages could be written in a span of 200 pages, which was increasingly annoying
Tomorrow study day, need to take a look at some 3 handed play and some preflop stuff. Hopefully jurojin will get back to me shortly otherwise i will try stackntile
