Well, I was hoping to kick ass in the daily deep stack but I got super card dead after the first break

The structure starts getting pretty fast after round 7 and the game dissolves into the typical 20bb ABC/TAG play and was pretty boring.

I got bleeded down, raised a couple of times in EP with AQs only to get shoved on by the table nits. So sick, each time I folded they flashed me AK yuck yuck yuckity yuck.

Then the standard tourney bust out, I got down to about 8bb and get TT go all in and run up against AK and an Ace on the turn and I'm out...

The tourney was a good tune up though, I'm in full tourney mode and ready to kill it tomorrow.

I bought in for the B flight so will be playing starting at 5pm.

I feel something crazy is gonna happen

I'm officially gonna invoke my "One TIME!!!!" for this event

Well, I just woke up fully rested.

I'm going to share my secret technique for sleeping like the dead whenever the hell I want...



Yep, that's aluminum foil taped up on the windows, only takes about 5 minutes to do and that with the curtains blocks out 99% of the light so my room is pitched dark. Plus, aluminum foil blocks Infrared waves so my room is 60% cooler with the sunlight blocked so that is another plus. My air conditioner doesn't have to fight a losing battle with the Vegas sun...

Anyways, I'm off to the Millionaire Maker, feel good, and I hope I kick some serious ass. Obviously, you definitely need some positive variance to go your way and what I like to think about as "not" getting unlucky. If I can just go the whole tourney with getting the occasional "okay" cards and not have KK run into AA then I feel good about my chances.

So, the battle begins...

Well, survived through the first break. Have 5.5k chips, started w 4,500. I haven't gotten any big hands yet, just been stealing and repping. My vtable is pretty decent, no real marks just mostly TAGs and ABC players.

Blinds are at 25/50 and should raise to 50/100 after The break. They seriously underestimated the turn out. A flight had 3713 players and B flight has 2300 so far and there is another 500 or people still in line and they announced they would seat alternates all the way till 9pm (four hours after the start of flight B)

Anyways, I feel good and am playing okay. This is a brutal grind, basically playing snug TAG and just not deep enough to really open up my game. So it is very ho-hum.

Hopefully I'm still here next break (every two hours)

Second break just ended. I'm second chip leader on the table. Table is very fit-n-fold.

Blinds are 100/200 now I got 13.5k in chips.



Looks like we topped out at 2630 people for flight B. So total of 6347 people so first place should be around 1.5M

Just took two brutal hits the last one, I had AJdd and 3-bet an aggro pre, 2-callers

Turn A J 4 9 scdd so I flop top two and turn nut draw, V goes all-in I call, river brick V has set of fours FML. I drop from $19k to 2k, just won a flip up to 5k, blinds are 100/200 w 25 ante so I'm at 20bb and rounds are one hour so I can come back

Overall I felt good and I think I'm all tuned up and ready for another big tourney. Gonna grind some cash games next two days then play a big $500 tourney Monday.

Decided to play at Aria, sat down in the 1/3nl game while waiting for 2/5nl, doubled up first hand then went to 2/5nl. Great action, I'm up about $1400-ish. (still playing)



Will probably grind for next 7 hrs or so. Then do another tourney tomorrow

Well , the two super donks at the table busted out and were replaced by two tough players I know from the Bay Area (what are The freaking odds on that?) . So, I'm cashing out and heading to Venetian.
