Any MTTers out there who think this is good value for money. Obviously it is quite expensive and I personally do not have a high impression op rtinnion as a player, but than again I’m not really been following mtt poker last years.

I’m currently working quite hard on finding a schedule that would work for me. I’d prefer a daytime schedule for 2 days a week and in the weekend I just want to grind the best value MTTs available (CET times).

I’ve been playing a little more again last week. Trying to find a proper schedule during the daytime (CET) outside of Stars. I’ll be playing 2 weekdays daytime and weekends either Saturday or Sunday and probably once or twice a month both days. Fridays and Tuesdays are off. With Fridayevening making time to do some off table study.

In the past I remember having up to 16 tables open and making it work. I can’t imagine working myself through that amount of tables at once for hours. So which tournaments am I going to click during a specific timeframe? I’d love to see some of the schedules others are playing in my time zone! For now I won’t buy in anything higher than $55 directly.

I also came across this! It isn’t cheap, but is it worth the investment?

Funny how it works. I’m not going to drop cashgames completely, as it is my bread and butter. But now that I started playing less hours and less tables (2 max) I’m running pretty well. My hourly has gone up actually with 2/4 tables less than I used to.

But in my goal to focus more on MTTs I’ve found that it connects to my competitive brain better than cash games. The excitement of reaching a final table and becoming king of the tournament is something else. I play €1K pots in plenty of sessions and besides being happy I win a pot, I don’t feel much else. But the other day I won a $5,50 turbo event voor $1.8K and I felt quite nervous during the MTT and was really happy when I won.

The only reason MTTs are hard for me is because I simply don’t have the time to grind big hours on a regular basis. Mtt sessions can be long.

I’ll post some results soon enough, but after the termination of my coaching/staking agreement it was hard to get back on the saddle. I’m still looking out to become part of a new stable, but I have to prove myself in MTTs first a bit I guess. I’ve been playing a couple of daytime sessions (CET) and I’m going to play one weekend day max.
The recent results have been okay. I’m looking to add some different platforms to my (daytime) schedule. For now I only have played Pokerstars and 888. I’m not sure what I can add yet and pointers would be nice. Current stakes are anything between €5 and €100 games.

Cashgames are still on Unibet and Runitonce. The traffic on Runitonce is really slow! I haven’t been able to start a 200nl table with
More than two people on it. But I’m running pretty well, so no worries.
Unibet is amazingly soft and profitable. Daytime is pretty regfiled, but with a few exceptions people are pretty horrible still.

Logged in on GG after a couple of months. Somehow I got compensation for a few banned accounts (I guess) I can't really remember playing against anybody who I would link on RTA use. A few villians where pretty solid, but nothing out of the ordinary.
Nevertheless quite happy to receive extra 'rakeback' for pots lost on 200-1KNL. I havent been playing any poker at all lately.

        Results 25NL-100NL 2022.

        Meant to be one post.

In general I'm quite happy with the year. Was able to make some cashouts and still keep playing the limits I want. Ran pretty horrid towards the end of the year, but that might also has something to do with focus and mindset. Last couple of months I was pretty busy with stuff outside of poker. Less time to study, less time to play, less focus.
I'm aiming for 2023 to have poker as a steady income next to my regular job. I'm having more and more time to play poker. It is a relaxing thought that I'm not dependent on poker as an income, but I don't need to deposit.

        Goals for 2023
        - Find more time to discuss hands on discord and forums
        - Get a better understanding of game theory
        - Have atleast a couple of coachingsessions for MTTs and cashgames
        - Aim to have the option to do a monthly cashout (salary)

I've gifted myself the luxury of playing FPS €1K event in Paris in february. Been quite some time since I've played live and I'm pretty stoked. the €1K is still alot of money tbh, eventhough I can miss it. Cashing would still be very cool. I'm riding to Paris by bicycle from the Netherlands. It is a 600KM ride or so that I plan to do in three days. This way I can combine my two passions

I hope everybody finds luck in life and on the felt (when I'm not on it) in 2023!

As I'm eager to have a real go at this thing next year, it only makes sense to keep track of my progress in this thread. For motivation, for remembrance and t keep track of my personal growth as a pokerplayer.

Essentially I was doing some stuff correctly already this year, so I want to keep that basis and work from there.
I have sort of a fixed schedule every week. Obviously it is sort flexible. I'll just stick to the pokerschedule as I also have a family with a couple kids, my own company and I do spend A LOT of time on my bikes.

        My normal routine:
        Monday 9:00 - 14:00 CET Cashgames
        Tuesday 14:00 - xx:xx CET MTTs
        Wednesday 9:00 - 14:00 CET Cashgames

Rest of the week is booked with other priorities. Although I do grind the occasional sunday when there is some Series or special tournament running.

As I don't really want to choose between MTTs and Cash I'll just keep playing them both. Especially because I do plan to play a lot more live MTTs this year. Starting this year with the FPS in Paris prior to the EPT in february.

My main games this year will be 50NL & 100NL cashgames and I'll play midstakes MTT
With a minimum of 5K hands a month I'd be quite happy.

I did not play 10NL? Atleast not as a maingame.

I'm not dependent on poker as an income, so I couldn't be bothered playing microstakes. Obviously I want to improve as a player, but still I think there is enough value for (decent) rec's in the midstakes. Especially in PLO, but also in NLHE.

I do feel GGpoker is alot thougher in comparison to Ipoker. But that is just because there are more regulars. But also more rec's and fish. I just try to avoid akward spots with better players than me. Poker is not that difficult.

I've had my first coachingsession for PLO just yesterday. It is nice to get a 2nd pair of eyes looking at your game. I would advise everybody to pay for a session just once in a while. For the rest my believe is that poker is profitable (still) by playing with patience, have fun and to keep away from overthinking certain spots.

I'm looking for decent content on PLO cashgames. What is the best value? Not to expensive obviously

I had a coaching session where I 'fixed' some mistakes I made, but I have the type of lean forward brain that also needs to actively find information myself. It sticks better that way.

        Swingy couple of days.

Lately the majority of my cashgames I play on this Ipoker skin (Holland Poker) If the games are soft up to 600PLO, but mainly 100PLO and 200PLO.

Sadly I dont have rakeback on this skin and they dont really offer anything aswell. Is it possible to get a rakeback deal on ipoker (also on this skin). Others are not legal in my country..
