It caught my eye that all the numbers on a graph are in green, on all limits. Usually ther are parts in red.

Love this!

I'm curious to understand your process a bit better. By building a flop strategy with two sizings, are you essentially picking one sizing to use in practice for each board?

Not really, im building my strategy based on a board... I would range check, range bet 1/3 or have a two size strategy. It more depends on a board and positions. Also make it so no hand mixes.

Interesting strategy! Just curious, how do you force PIO to not mix a single hand in a spot? Is there a setting for that?

Its not in the Pio, its in gtowizard range builder and then I screenshot it. I have heard that Saulo Costa knows how to do it in PIO settings.

Hey everyone,

Time to wrap up May! It's been a productive month, but before I dive into the details, let me just say... Ciao for now! Packing my bags and heading to Italy for some much-needed sunshine and gelato (priorities, right?).

Alright, back to poker business. This month, I clocked in 79 hours online and 25 hours live, grinding out a total of 34k hands. Win rate wise, I'm happy to report I'm a bit above 3bb/100 (EV is at over 7bb/100).

The final tally? €5k profit with rakeback included. Not bad for a month with wanderlust kicking in! However, there's always room for improvement. Looking back, I wish I'd squeezed in 20 more online hours and dedicated a bit more time to off-table study. That's definitely a focus for next month.

But hey, let's not forget the grind behind the scenes! I also dedicated 25 hours this month to working on my game, mostly working with 2 friends and in GTOW.

Only Saulo Costa in particular knows this secret config setting? This person must be a genius. I surely must google them and give them my money for whatever it is they are selling.

Small Grind, Big Wins: Live Double Board PLO Bomb Pots are a Blast (And Confusing for Everyone!)

Hey everyone,

Checking in for a mid-month update! It's been a bit quiet online this month – only around 20 hours at the virtual tables so far. But hey, less volume doesn't mean less success! The graph's looking good (check it out!), and for the first time this year, I'm actually running above EV! Not a huge margin, but hey, it's a nice change of pace!

Now, let's talk about the live scene. I've been hitting up some private games lately, and there's been a double board PLO bomb pot craze going on. Now, I'm not exactly a PLO expert, but these players are so new to the game (almost exclusively recreational players) that it's been a blast! Especially with bomb pots, it feels like my edge is even bigger. They just don't have the experience with double boards and the crazy action PLO brings compared to Hold'em.

What makes it even more fun? It's new for everyone! Sure, there might be some strategy involved, but with bomb pots and the added complexity of PLO, these games are turning into wild, unpredictable rides. Everyone's figuring it out on the fly, which adds a whole new layer of entertainment to the whole experience.

So, here's the question for you guys:

Live Players: How often do you hit the live tables? Do you ever encounter double board PLO bomb pots?
Double Board PLO Bomb Pot Experts: What are your thoughts on this format? Any hidden gems in terms of strategy resources (videos, articles, etc.)?
I'm curious to see how prevalent live double board PLO bomb pots are and if any of you have mastered the art of navigating these wild games. Maybe I can learn a thing or two myself before the next session!

See you at the tables (live or online!),

June: A Mix of Live Games, Learning, and New Beginnings!

Hey everyone,

Time to wrap up June! It wasn't the grindiest month online – life throws curveballs sometimes, and June was one of those months. But hey, that doesn't mean there wasn't progress!

The Live Grind:

The first part of June was all about live poker. Hitting the tables regularly and racking up some solid experiences. It was a great way to mix things up and keep the game exciting.

Sharpening My Skills:

But online or live, a strong foundation is key. That's why I doubled down on working on my game. The good news is, I'm back in action with Uskebasi and Blaž as my coaches – always a fantastic learning experience. We've been diving deep into strategy and working on some innovative approaches.

Exciting New Chapter: Coaching Students!

Speaking of innovation, Blaž and I are thrilled to announce a new venture – coaching students! We're looking for dedicated players (up to NL50 or BE players at NL100) who are hungry to improve and break the mold. The ideal candidates are ready to put in the work (100+ hours a month) and embrace a fresh approach to the game.

Interested? If you're a serious player looking to take your game to the next level, don't hesitate to PM me for more details. We'll be taking on a limited number of students, so it's a great opportunity to get personalized coaching from experienced players.

More to Come...

June wasn't just about work and coaching! I also encountered some interesting hands online. I'll be posting some of those in nest post soon – stay tuned!

Until next time,

Half-Year Grind: Time to Step Up My Online Game!

Hey everyone,

July 1st is here, marking the official halfway point of the year! Time to take a look back and see how things are stacking up.

Solid Results, Room for Improvement:

Overall, it's been a decent first half. I've been averaging 75 hours a month online with a win rate of 4.4bb/100. Not bad, but I know I can push it further. That's why I'm setting a new goal: 100+ hours of online play per month!

Live vs. Online:

I've also been sprinkling in some live poker, averaging around 30 hours a month. Live games are a great way to mix things up and enjoy the social aspect. But let's be honest, online is where the real profit lives for me. That's why I'm shifting my focus for the rest of the year.

Calling All Grinders!

Now, here's where I need your help, fellow grinders! How do you manage to rack up serious online volume? Any tips, tricks, or routines you can share? Got any favorite books or videos on maximizing online play?

Open Discussion:

Beyond online volume, what other poker-related topics would you like to see me discuss in future posts?

Let's make the second half of the year epic! Hit me with your comments and suggestions below.

Here's to crushing the online tables!

Here are some interesting HH's:

1) BTN is reg, cbets to wide, SB is fish that doesn't like to fold.

2) I was quite sure he was bluffing but turns out it was close one

3) vs fish, pure read on him...

4) Again, read on fish...

Taking a Break, But Grinding My Game: A (Almost) Break-Even July!

Hey everyone,

Just a quick update before I head off on a well-deserved vacation! July wasn't exactly the month for record-breaking results. Let's just say the cards weren't exactly cooperating, especially at the wrong limits. With rakeback factored in, it's basically a break-even month. Not ideal, but hey, that's poker!

The Silver Lining:

The good news? I've been grinding hard on my game. Putting in the extra hours off the tables to make sure I'm firing on all cylinders when I get back. New strategies, sharper reads – all the tools to crush it in August!

100 Hours and Beyond:

Speaking of August, my goal is simple: 100+ hours of pure online grind. Time to put all that studying into practice and climb those win rates. I'll be sure to share some interesting hands along the way – stay tuned for those!

Island Hopping in Croatia:

For the next 10-12 days, I'll be trading in the virtual tables for some real sunshine. The plan is to explore the stunning islands of Split, Korčula, and Vir. Crystal-clear waters, delicious food, and some much-needed relaxation are on the menu!

See you all back at the tables soon, refreshed and ready to dominate!

Good luck at the tables!

H1) vs fish that has fold buton... (not this time)

H2) don't try to bluff calling station

H3) and H4 are from same session, just few minutes apart vs same reg.

Hey everyone,

Back from my Croatian adventure! It was great to relax and recharge, but now it's time to get back to business. I've managed to squeeze in around 24 hours of play so far this month, so I'm a bit behind on my 100-hour goal. The good news is, the grind is back on, and I'm determined to catch up!

Unfortunately, variance hasn't been my friend this month. I've been running below EV, which is always frustrating. But hey, that's poker! Time to put in the hours and let the results take care of themselves. Also, I'm 60 buy ins below EV this year, , which is definitely a new record for me. Anyone else had a similar month? Let's hear about your biggest EV loss, whether it's measured in buy-ins or cold hard cash.

EV vs BB/100: Which Metric Matters More?

Speaking of results, I came across an interesting discussion about whether EV or BB/100 is the better metric for measuring success. What do you think? Is one metric superior to the other, or do they both have their place in tracking your progress? (Link to forum discussion)

Hand of the Day:

I've also had a few interesting hands recently, but one in particular sticks out.

So, preflop was just misclick...

Do you think it's a good fold or just way to tight fold?

Hey man! I just got to 2+2. I'm having a blast following your journey, please keep sharing.

About the jacks hand, I would bet at least half pot, don't know the thought process behind 1/3 bet on the flop. Would love to hear about it.

On the turn, unless I had reads on the BTN player, I'd consider it a greyzone and fold as well. Very nasty runnout.

Wish you best of luck. Cheers from Brasil

Hey Tonico,

Thanks for the kind words! I'm glad you're enjoying the ride.

Regarding the jack hand, a half-pot bet is definitely in the mix, it might be even better, it's hard to tell but we do block top pair quite havely with top set, but the board is quite wet, so bigger size might be better... BTN was, as I like to call them, ABC reg, no fancy playes, had 5 times raised turn for value.

August Grind: Navigating Variance and Setting New Goals

Hey everyone,

August was a month of progress and challenges.

Key Highlights:

Consistent Grind: I managed to log 97 hours of online play, falling just short of my 100-hour goal.
Off-Table Study: I've been diligently working on my game, focusing on CO vs BB spots and playing monotone boards effectively. These areas have proven to be particularly challenging, but I'm making progress. Does anyone have any good video resources or blog posts on the topic?
Copenhagen Trip: I'll be heading to Copenhagen in September for a 3-day trip. While there, I'll be taking a short break from coaching sessions to enjoy my vacation.

September Plans:

100+ Hour Grind: I'm determined to hit this target and increase my volume.
Intensified Coaching: Upon returning from Copenhagen, I'll be resuming my coaching sessions with Blaž and Uskebasi, focusing on 4-betting strategies and further refining my CO vs BB play.
Stay tuned for more updates and interesting hands!

Mid-Month Update: Grinding and Battling Travel Chaos

Hey everyone,

September is halfway over, and I'm happy to report that my online poker game is on a roll! I've managed to maintain a solid 9bb/100 win rate and have racked up just under €1.8k in winnings so far. Considering I've played around 47 hours, I'm close to hitting my monthly goal of 50 hours.

Travel Troubles:

Unfortunately, my planned trip to Copenhagen didn't go as smoothly as I had hoped. My flight was delayed by two hours, and then, to my total disappointment, it was completely canceled! I had to cut my trip short and return home disappointed. While it was frustrating, at least I managed to get a partial refund for the canceled flight.

Back to the Grind:

Despite the travel setback, I'm determined to keep grinding and reach my monthly goal. I'll be putting in the hours and focusing on maintaining my positive momentum.

Stay tuned for more updates, interesting hands, and hopefully a more successful travel experience next time!
