Rake attributed is different but i'm not sure if that's available in the tracker.

$100 rake at NL10 in <10k hands sounded high although thinking about it that's a little over 10bb/100 in rake which is actually plausible (and rather alarming!)

So are we saying $17 profit + $35 from leaderboard - $136 rake = -$84 for the session?

It depends how much you 3bet. Just increase your 3betting and you will pay more rake... rake at micro stakes are absurd and if you 3betting a large % I think you won't be able to even beat the rake at that level.

I pay around $0.0225 per hand in rake at NL50 rush and cash but I did spend a long time optimizing my rake.... before it was $0.0235 and it does make a big different if you doing a lot of volume

Some sites (like GG) rake the pots pre-flop. Whereas others only start raking pots where there's a flop.

So from a rake perspective when playing on GG it makes sense to play as few pots as possible and tighten up.

I haven't been playing cash games much since the last update, or this month. I've been focusing more on spin & go's on stars and I have a thread for that as well. Been going better there than cash games. However now I'm also motivated to grind rush & cash and will try to put in at least 1k hands per day, although focusing more on the spin & go grind...

Cash game roll is at $225 on gg.

Btw, a great tip for a motivation and focus enhancer is a big dose of a cup of coffee along with L-theanine powder.

What do you think of this bluff?

Villian is 24/17 8% 3b after 78 hands

My thinking is that his range is estimated to be 77-JJ, maybe QQ and some combos of AK/AQs/KQs, maybe some suited connectors depending on his style.

I block QQ and when the J comes on the turn obviously this reduces his JJ combos. It looks kinda strong 4betting from MP perhaps, AK likely to be in his range on the turn and some underpairs. I think 77-TT has a tough decision if I jam turn and AK as well, most regs fold AK on the turn vs shove I think.

We need 45.37% fold equity to breakeven.

Here is another bluff I thought might be reasonable, or it could be spewy...

MP is 23/16 24% 3b after 275 hands.
SB is 19/12 18% 3b after 3,5k hands.

Given MPs small 3bet size I estimate there to be some Axs combos and most likely suited broadways/lower suited connectors and maybe like KJo, KQo, QJo or something... I'm not too concerned about SB.

My reasoning is QT obv blocks 2pairs, set and TT. I could have AT, A9s, T9s, TT and 99 in my value range. XRing after a caller in a multiway 3b pot might seem pretty strong. And its less likely MP has anything better than AJ-AK here, he probably dont cbet AJ or lower Axs, or he might do it... Anywho I basically rep 2pair+ and he should be nervous with AK/AQ vs this line, or he might think it looks bluffy because of all the gutters available.

On the turn I decide to keep repping strong and keep betting, planning to jam the river as well depending on the run out.

Does all this seem reasonable, is it a good bluff, think he has a tough decision with AQ/AK?

I'm not a huge NLH player but apart from pre-flop (which even then can cause issues being OOP) I feel like you played every street badly.

Check / call on turn seems particularly bad. Were you planning to bluff diamond rivers? What was the plan for the hand?

My thought process on the turn is that he can have a bunch of suited broadways, JT-KQ etc. that could bluff. What would he really be value betting here, 99-TT maybe, 67s maybe. I think it might not too bad to hero call in this situation. He might be someone to bluff turn with even AJ-AQ then its a bad call but .. Maybe potting/overbetting turn is better as played rather than x/call

If you think they're bluffing turn and then they brick river and bet, are you going to hero call?

I guess it depends whether you want to get into a hero call spot on the river or perhaps x/raise turn and maybe some of the bluff hands will fold.

When you 3bet pre-flop then I don't see why you wouldn't continue with a c-bet on flop.

I'm no NLH expert and I guess some people say c-betting isn't great these days.

If you want to move up to 100nl you’ll need to get preflop down I don’t understand your 3bet sizes, 3-3.3x IP and 4-5x OOP is a good rule of thumb. ATo and K9o are a bit too loose.

The ATo is hand pretty bad even if you know he’s bluffing you can’t really call.

I think it’s good that your redline has leveled out, there’s still plenty of spots where you can bluff and call down profitably at micros, but I think a very positive redline at 5nl is a bad sign and how I started out.

If you’re not looking for advice my bad, seems like you’ve been crushing the spin&gos congrats on that.

So it seems I've lost motivation for this thread or cash games. Even though I change my mind just as often as a girl change their clothes, I'm pretty pumped up right now because it feels like I've done a mental switch and play way more solid now (at cash, not spins). I might just put in the effort and try to run up my $60 roll on GG to 100nl by the end of the year ($1200 roll). Perhaps too ambitious? Could be attainable if I grind non-stop from this point onward and don't spew... Or maybe it's a huge delusion, hehe. I'm also going to count the times someone bets big on the river, I call and I lose. Counting how many times I lose vs how many times I win, and learn from it.

I'm not any more obsessed with having a huge red line, calling every damn river shove and B B shoving per automtique. Even though I focus a lot on having the range advantage and bluffing when it seems many better hands are folding. And having a holistic approach, not street by street poker thinking, but having a plan for all streets already on the flop. . .

I also will stick to GTO preflop ranges and not 3bet/4bet more or RFI more than I should,

Here is an interesting hand vs 18% vpip player

My thought process is: I block AK and 88, planning to bet multiple streets depending on the runout. On the turn villian will probably fold 99-TT if he does call those on the flop. Its an easier decision than checking, deny some equity when he has gutshots, he might call QT again OTT...

The river maybe isn't the best card in the deck, QTs got there and AQ mostly in my range. Maybe it's hard to get called by worse? Maybe 1/4 and fold to a shove? x/decide? What would you do as played on the river? I think the flop is a 100% range bet anyway iirc from GTO solutions

I'm not an NLH expert by any means, but the 3bet OOP with that hand seems a bit on the light side.

Is check / call not an option on the river? I don't think it's AK or a set - they would probably raise on flop or turn. AA/AK would 4bet you'd think.QT is a possibility, but you're also giving T9 and bluff hands the opportunity by checking.

Roll at $80, time for a solid 8-6BI shot at 10NL

A8s is definitely in the gto range sb vs co 3b, but not with a 100% frequency. I think check probably is better..

If you're not a NLH expert what is your main game?

I wouldn't profess to be any "expert" but my volume is in PLO.

Barely been playing any cash games this month, however I just took a look at my past hand history, I've been playing looser than GTO suggests and I think that's why my winrate has been ****.

167k hand sample, been 3betting too wide and GG rake 3bet pots .... Been opening too wide probably also. And calling down when they only show the nuts. Realiizing when villian shows a strong ilne, most of the time it's a strong hand and I can fold my bluffcatchers with confidence.
Spoiler:

This month I've been focusing on tightening up and not playing looser than GTO, also skipping 0EV hands like opening 76s from MP and stuff like that.

Small sample of course but much prouder of these stats

Spoiler:

GG roll at $77 (exlucding RB) 10-8 Buy-in BRM. Gonna put in 1-3k hands per day from this point onward. If all goes well it might be smooth sailing from here onward, hehe.
