Hi, my name is Vinicius Barbosa. 30yrs living and 15yrs playing poker.
Trying to mix up some fun, rush, freedom and making money on the way up.

Feeling a little stuck on my moving up through stakes and guessing that some extra motivation can do some good, so I´ll just make my personal challenge public by publishing it here.

Be welcome.

I will be playing NL25 starting with a 750€ bankroll.
Right now I´m a breakeven player and working hard on my game.

The goal is to beat NL50 till December 2020 with a minimum of 3.0bb/100 overall or 4.5bb/100 on the last 100k hands.

For that to happen I´ll be putting a 40k hands minimum per month and expect to have at least 500k hands till the end of the year.

I´ll start making shots on NL50 once I have 1.250€ roll or NL25 beaten at 5.5bb/100 on the last 100k hands or 3.5bb/100 overall.

Playing regular NLH tables or Zoom, both 6Max.

With that I expect being able to start making some shots on NL100 by the end of the year.

That will happen once I have 3k€ roll or NL50 beaten with the WR mentioned earlier on this post.

My actual graph is this one:

Feel free to comment about the goal, volume, wr, or anything related.

My plan is to update the thread once a week (mondays or tuesdays).

Let the game begin!

I don't think one should make a goal of a certain winrate, make more a structure/commitment to play certain hours per week and reserve hours to study/improve your game. With a bit of flexibility of course.

Though the goal of reaching a certain stake seems pretty good to me. GL

Thank you for your comment.
I already have a grinding structure that contains hours to study and play during the week.

Monday - Rest
Tuesday - 5h study, 1h game.
Wednesday - 1h30 study, 4h30 game
Thursday - 1h30 study, 5h game
Friday - 1h study, 5h30 game
Saturday - 30min study, 6h game
Sunday - No study, 5h game

I can change it if needed too.

Now, I do think that there is no problem seeking ´X´ winrate and working to reach it.
