Still following your original plan? (60 BIs + 5 ev bb/100)?

Pretty sure that, if not for BRM, you´re already a good winner at the 50nl games with your current winrate. My current impression of 50nl is that it´s almost as tight as 25nl, differences only in more aggression preflop/on the flop, less big nits and less fish in general.

Hey @Fazendeiro, sorry for the late reply. Yes, I'm still following my original plan. However I think 50BIs + 5ev/100 is more than good enough to shot take 50NL.
About NL50, the problem is that right now I'm transitioning to playing in an anonymous pool and as I had no experience with this type of pools I had to play a little of NL10 and right now I'd like to make another 20/30 BIs of NL25 to move up definitely to NL50.

What sites have an anonymous pool in the USA besides Ignition and Bovada?

Hey guys sorry for taking a break from 2p2 but I felt the need to put more time in poker (playing/studying/coaching more).
I will leave here another great session that I had today.

What does study involve for you generally?

Thanks man!!
Honestly, everything. We always have to start preflop, make certain changes that are mandatory when you are moving up stakes and then move on to the postflop. Then in the postflop area how can I combine the exploitative knowledge I have with the solver work I started doing; in the end I have to know how I can take all this information and simplify it to help my students.

Dear Confucius96,

excellent thread, journey and I would like to say I'm jealous of your achievements. Such dedication, 'hard work'!

(It appears if you're onto 50 NL from 2 NL it has paid off)

Hey guys,

I just want to update you guys on how everything is going on NL25.

NL25 Results [+104 buy-ins profit]

Sooner or later I know that I will go up to NL50 and only play NL50, but I need to be financially "secure", that is, if I have a downswing from 25 to 50bi I know that I have to be prepared for it, both mentally and financially.

Why not have a plan to movedown if you lose more than x? I think this way you can´t really ever go broke (as long as it´s not extremely aggressive ofc).

Really good session today, ended up +9.23 buy-ins in 2k hands.
It's a shame that I had some tricky hands towards the end of the session.

I think you could easily take shots ... Not sure 25-50 NL has much of a skill gap!

Hey guys, long time no see... but there's a good reason for that.

02/15/2022 (exactly 1 year ago) I came here with a dream. I wanted to reach 50NL until the end of 2022. Things didn't go exactly as planned. I beat 2NL, 5NL and 10NL pretty easily but then the problems started to appear.

When I got to 25NL the sites I was playing didn't have enough tables to make a decent volume, I couldn't play 4/5 tables at the same time. I decided to take a step back and play 10NL on GGPoker. The rake is incredibly high and even though I beat 10NL and 25NL with a good winrate I felt like I was being robbed. So it was time once again to take a step back and try to find a way. So I decided to play on several sites and finally I can say that I BEAT 25NL and that I will move up and play exclusively 50NL. Sorry for taking so long to give you this news but I've been sick for the last two weeks and I couldn't spend much time on my PC.

I can say that in the end I played 25NL on 9 sites, I tried everything: regular and zoom tables, anonymous tables, really difficult fields and others a bit easier. I ended up making 127 buy-ins with a winrate of +8.7ev/100. On the sites that I'm playing now I beat 25NL with a winrate of +9.6ev/100.

I know I could and even should have moved up to 50NL earlier but I wanted to make sure I was doing things right and not having to go through the same problems of 25NL.

Finally, I would like to know what you think I should do. Should I create another thread and show my path in 50NL or should I keep this thread? And I would also like you to tell me what you would like to see in this thread. I doubt there will be many fantastic graphs in 50NL and I don't want to go weeks and months without sharing anything.

Thank you all so much for following and helping me on this journey. My first objective was accomplished and now we go to the next.

Guess it´s up to how you feel. Are you playing professionally? Since this is the endgoal right? If the answer is yes, do you have OCD? Would it bother you too much to keep the thread with different goals etc?

Man you're a beast. I think you should keep the same thread, it's not very long or cluttered. What kind of studying were you doing during the grind from NL25 to NL50

Oh by the way Congrats on Meeting your Goals! I know there are plenty of envious Souls here, I know I am one. I tried! It's a lot harder than people give you credit. Patience required is a 10 on a 1-10 scale. Skill is less so important... You gotta be devoted and I think you're an Inspiration to us all. I never got a consistent WR past 5 NL on Anonymous sites so you know I realized what you accomplished. 10 NL itself was rather tough!

127 BIs at 25 NL tells me you're absolutely crushing it and could easily move way up or should of a long time ago. You may not be so successful but that's approaching 3g+ and enough of a roll to play 50 NL or 100 NL. I have watched Mephisto grind out 50 NL(ACR) on there and do quite well but then moved to Global to play 100 NL/or greater. As I don't think there is enough tables. Plus he's not happy with the return on his time at 50 NL.

I just enjoy the Sport and Fun of the game. You should probably work on a real 'poker education', if you haven't cause you show all the hallmarks of someone devoted enough to win at a higher level. And moving up as high as possible gradually and stop holding yourself back?

Perhaps opening a Discord/Stream/etc... If you're an Entertainer and look to become an affiliate with a site where you get deals. ACR has Leaderboards and Rakeback. Other sites offer semi-professional players deals(like elite stormers on ACR, every site has something). Have you considered becoming a Twitch Streamer? Hurts your EV but the deals and the sideline income if you speak well, have the time and ability can be profitable?

It's hard to say where your Poker Journey will go but 2 plus 2 is okay, just not on the cutting edge for expressing yourself to the community. Most of it's on Twitch I would say and in Discord. I hope you all the best and you make a Million. . . These Days (Twitter-Twitch-Instagram-Discord-Education Poker Sites) are the way of the future!

P.S. This is the advice of a Fun Player but with a decent amount of knowledge in The Modern Internet. More money is likely to be made in poker books, schools, site endorsements along with poker income than solely on poker itself long term. Disclaimer :P GL Confucious

Hey @FazendeiroBH, thanks for your answer.
I just thought that some of you guys would prefer that I open another thread since my goal has been completed.
More importantly, I'd like to find a way to keep posting in order to show that it's possible to move up in stakes and that the poker dream isn't dead yet.

Thank you so much @bigdave2304.
To answer your question about my study: at the moment I'm studying mostly postflop.
I'm trying to find a way to simplify my game so that I don't have more than 2 to 4 sizes in every spot.
