You haven't beated any level. You have luck boxed 40 buy ins up and then going to higher level. That is not beating that is luck. I have months over 100 buy ins below ev so put volume to your game and then call beating. You are nothing but lottery atm. I think in 1 year this topic is really quiet.

2 months in, the guy went to $200 in 2 NL and is obviously having fun. He moved up to 10 NL so before we judge and be debby downers let's give him a chance? 99% of people who attempt to become pros probably end up at Starbucks or becoming Software Engineers(I know a few).

He hasn't beaten even nl2. If we think smaller amount of buy ins he needs IS 75 buy ins to move up. He's just sunrunned and can't beat nl2 if he plays there good amount of hands. This is just cheating style to moving up. Btw nowadays authors suggests 100 buy ins roll per stake.

It would be a huge waste of time for OP to sit at 2NL trying to win over 150 buyins to move up to 5NL. Anyone with half a brain can beat 2NL reg tables for double digit winrate. This means they can also beat 5NL reg tables for a double digit winrate. It would be extremely foolish for OP to reduce his winnings by over 50% by sitting at 2NL forever.

FWIW, 100BI BRM is intended for established professionals playing in tough games with low winrates where the swings are much more brutal. Following such strict BRM at microstakes just seems like a rake trap and a massive waste of time.

Hi Paisting, with all due respect, I know a lot of people like you who think that poker is an "impossible" game to beat. I think 99% of the people on this thread/forum know that this is the opinion of a player who can't win at poker.

At first I told you that I respected your opinion even though I didn't agree. I've had the opportunity to speak with several pro players (NL1000+) and they all say the same, as I play reg tables that I should go up in stakes when I have at least 30 buy-ins with a good ev/bb. Especially between NL2 to NL10 that the goal is to get out of these stakes as quickly as possible because of the rake.

Notice that with every stake I'm beating I'm increasing the number of buy-ins I have to do because I know it's going to get harder and harder and I need to be prepared. I only play tables that I I know I will beat in the long run, I've been studying almost every day and contrary to what you had predicted I still haven't disappeared, and when I start losing money I'll post anyway, because that's a natural process in poker.

Since I started this challenge, I've made 96 buy-ins, this counts with NL2 and NL5 that I still play for the leaderboards and NL10. I respect that you think this is just "luck", but I think 96 buy-ins at 25ev/bb is not luck at all.

To finish and because I won't waste any more time with you, I would like that even if you don't believe in my success that you give value to the work I'm doing, because being a hater just for the sake of it doesn't make any sense.

Thanks guys for all the support and the kind words.

Great results and progress!

Dont worry about comments like these, people that think its all luck and no one can beat anything for a good winrate are just bad at poker and cant understand there are people that are way better then them. Even on the lowest of stakes.

Good luck!

I wouldn't worry about Paisting if I were you. This guy has lost over $500k in 15 years playing almost exclusively 2NL. He's convinced the sites are rigged and his entire worldview is shattered when shown proof of people easily crushing the micros. His ego will never allow him to realize beating 2NL-10NL is possible, because that'd mean admitting he's an idiot who whaled off 6 figures in the softest games on the internet. Even if you were to win 100+ buyins at 2NL to prove him wrong, he'd just move on to some other deflection. Best course of action is to ignore and just keep doing what you're doing. You're absolutely crushing it. Do you have a coach?

Your coaching has been helping me a lot and I was finally able to beat a stake where I was stuck for the last maybe 2 months.
I've been really enjoying learning from you and I hope you can also help me beat NL5 and NL10!!

This was my NL2 before

This are my results after I started having coach with you

Thank you very much for your help!

And don't you worry about Paisting, those people do nothing in life except trying to put down others.

You are completely right, I won't waste any more time with this kind of comments.
No, at this moment I just use free stuff that I find on the internet and I have some friends who play cash games who gave me a lot of tips before I started playing.

To be honest the best advice that I can give you is to get a coach and grind as much as you can. Try to find someone who is reasonably priced for the stake you play and someone who has beaten those stakes recently.

In other words, it makes no sense to play NL2 - NL10 and be coached by someone who has played NL200+ for a long time. These players will ask for a lot of money and have a more theoretical game. At least this is my opinion.

If you want my help contact me on Discord [Confucius#8197] and we can talk a little bit and I'll help you in any way I can.

Hi guys, today I bring you two great news that I'm very proud to share with you.

The first news is that NL10 IS OVER!! I finished the 50 buy-ins of NL10 in 22k hands. I am very happy with this achievement and I never expected it to go so fast. I also managed to make more hands than in the first part of the month, which was another goal.

Results:

Now it's time to prepare for NL25 where my goal will be to make 60 buy-ins. Regarding NL25 my first big goal is to increase the volume compared to this month. This remains the biggest leak that I have in my game and it's only up to me to change it.

The second big news I want to share, especially for the people who follow me, who like what I do and would like to improve their game:

I'm officially going to start coaching. As you already know, I've been coaching a follower of this thread and it's been going so well and I'm having so much fun coaching that I decided this was a good time to take it more seriously.

I have already received several messages on Discord and from now on I am willing to coach NL2, NL5 and NL10. My results at these 3 stakes were amazing and I would like to help people who are really interested in becoming better players and crushing micro stakes. The price will be very affordable and it was designed for players who play these stakes.

For people who are interested in receiving coaching, just send a message to my Discord: Confucius#8197.
If you don't have Discord you can follow me on my Instagram and any questions you have just ask: https://www.instagram.com/confucius_96/

20+(from what I've read this a professional level micro level) plus BBs per 100, even at this level is utterly amazing... I am very impressed and glad to see you jump so quickly! I don't see where you can be stopped. I will consider your coaching when I have the energy up to try it out. I think anyone should! Getting to 10 BBs per 100 on a given day or even 5 was really a deep challenge for me. And at low stakes is a painful thing as you give up a lot to the rake.

Thank you so much for the kind words @AspiringPlay. It's been a fantastic journey, and it's really helped to see people like you who leave me these messages of support or say they're motivated to see my progress. We all know it won't be easy this way forever, but I'll always do my best and even when the results aren't good I'll leave them here.

Regarding coaching. What I advise everyone who are considering coaching with me is to understand that poker is not easy and the results will not appear overnight, but if this is what you really want it will be easy to beat these stakes in the same way as I did.
