Best of luck to you as well, you're going to need it since reading comprehension clearly isn't your forte.

You shouldn't be toxic in this thread OP is sincere and there isn't anything to point to anything else! Sheezuz I talked to a guy last night whose taking $100 an hour lessons I MEAN that's not practical for everyone! He went from ABIs of $5 to like $55 and is winning!

Wanted to take serious shots at 10/25 NL I guess but didn't do so well) consistently all throughout the 1st phase. Had a lot of fun. POKER is tough and a lot of people are very opinionated. I don't think we should all be slaughtering each other. I really would of loved OP's advice during my journey but to be honest I'm feeling he's so far ahead of me at this point it's not useful. Or I'm not serious enough... When I get the punting under control and realize what I want from Poker I'd gladly look him up if he's available!

Why not!!! Hell, talk to the fella, he's modest and fair! I have! To consistently hold a WR he's got over a year is A CHALLENGE! It's a feat in psychology!

Jared Tendler 1st read!

I managed 3 or 4 grinds but punt ultimately..poker is a game of endurance almost as much as skill I found! Unfortunately you got to be fit, not distracted...focus and trained in whatever format you play on some level. You need a strategy blitz, full ring, mtt, jackpots, whatever. I am not there yet! I would love to be where OP is not about the money it's about the discipline and will to do it.

Hey guys,

I've decided that I'm going to try to do one post a week (on Sundays) to update you guys on my 50NL journey and other projects I'm working on.
Today I'm bringing you the best session of the week. It was a small session where I ran 2bi under EV, but I can't complain, as it was 6bi in 700 hands.

I have 2 news to tell you:
* The first news is that I finally managed to finish my exploitative ranges. I did it with a friend of mine based on hands from 2NL to 100NL and if any of you are interested contact me on Discord;
* The second news is that as I promised I'm making a Discord server. This server will only be launched at the beginning of April and I will put it in the Coaching or Study Group threads.

Good luck at the tables guys!!

I don't think that I have fans @FazendeiroBH !!
But I will post the Cash Results by Stakes in the near future with the results of 50NL.

Hey guys,

This week I want to share my 50NL results. These are my first 20 000 hands since I moved up to 50NL. The volume isn't the best but I'm proud of the results.
I changed my routine a bunch of times but now I think I found the best one for me.

Other news:
  • The Discord server is done, I'll talk more about that in the next week post;
  • Next week I'll post on Friday

Hey @Split1989,
Yes, that will be my post on Friday. However and because this isn't the first time that someone says that, I want to clarify something:

All of my results from 2NL to 25NL were posted already on this thread, so you can see that I wasn't posting only "run goods", but yes @Split1989, I'm only posting those run goods (I already said that) because I want to remember my best sessions and not my worst.
Regarding 50NL I just posted yesterday about my results. So in this thread you can see my 2NL, 5NL, 10NL, 25NL and 20K hands that I played on 50NL since I moved up.

Did I played more hands on 2NL - 25NL since I moved up to 50NL?
- Yes, when I was giving coaching to my students and they wanted to watch me play/think. So if you guys want to see the results of my journey, all of them are here in this thread. If you guys want to see the results that I have today in every stake I'll post them on Friday. But I think it's normal if they are a little bit worse then they were before and the reason is that almost all the hands were played during coaching sessions.

Hey guys,

This week I bring you 2 topics:
  • My Cash Results by Stakes;
  • Discord server.

Cash Results by Stakes:

I still play 5NL - 25NL, not for me, but as I said, I have students who want to see me play.
This beginning of the month has been very complicated to play, because I had to format the PC and reinstall everything. In addition, I was away for a few days and launched my new coaching program. However, I hope I still have time to make at least 20k to 30k hands.

Discord Server:

I won't say much about this server here in this thread (I can't), but I can say that I'm looking for 5 to 10 players to mentor from 2NL to 25NL.
For those who want to know more information about this server, you can go to my instagram where I have everything explained.

Hey guys,

For this week I have another great session on 50NL to show you.
Unfortunately, with the creation of the mentorship program, I haven't been able to play much, but I feel that the fact that I'm writing and teaching strategies, especially postflop, has greatly improved my aggressions and my game in general.

Confucius96, Very well played.

100 + BIs is what I hear is a 'requirement' from Jeremiah Williams a Professional ... People use the Kelly Criterion and other people use their own math to figure it out but it's accurate. Meaning at 50 NL you'd need 5k.

I hadn't heard this stuff before but you pick it up listening to Professionals and asking them questions even about Micro Stakes.

So all of us were giving you bad advice.

BTW: Crushing Statistics <3 I hope you hammer it and you should really create a Youtube. Or Stream! When you want to follow a Master you want to see his achievements as he progresses. It is the best way to reach a broader audience. MicroStakes would be a very viable way to make a sideline income. Maybe it wouldn't be as entertaining as MTTs or higher stakes but you would still reach an audience who would pay you directly for your services via Subbing you/Advertisement/Reaching a deal with the Streaming Service and possibly the poker sites if you ever get lucky and are geographically lucky enough to get their support. You also show your potential students your location in the game and how you play. Which is -EV but +Income. Most people don't have the discipline to do what you do.(trust me a year of studying how the poker ecosystem works people like Jeff Boski often are making more money in their Vlogging and Streaming than in their actual poker and so are the small guys like you and everyone else)

GL in your career. I wish I had what you had right now. Maybe one day it's quite stressful to stay on top of Poker as a career or necessary requirement income.

Pokerdope can give you very accurate predictions of risk of ruin, assuming you give it conservative estimations of winrate and std dev. On the lower part of the page, you can toy with worst case scenarios over an insanely big sample you'll never play, so you can use that as your BRM to never really go broke.

Most important than BRM imho, a true professional will set aside 6-12 months of monthly expenses, hopefully before going pro

I would set aside another roll for poker investments, let's say, tools and softwares, coaching, training sites etc, so you don´t need to get this from your playing bankroll.

Having the monthly expenses (including poker investments) below 50% of your conservatively estimated post rb evbb/hand * monthly hands played should allow you very good growth rates and satisfactory move up times without much stress.

Some really great "information," I found on 2+2 and truth is the future of Poker is on the Socials. 2023 Poker is a Game now practiced Live, on Social Media, Twitch/Youtube, etc... People don't want to question some stats some guy posts, they want to see him accomplish this stuff live in their face as they question his every move and he can answer what he chooses but they see the results. They meet the friends. They're accountable...they're live...

P.S. I know like nothing about poker vs most these guys. But I've been involved in the streaming community since 2017, go check it out. I'd of quit if not for the Numerous Recs/Bad Regs/Grinders/Mid/Low/High stakes players professional, amateur. I'd just fall asleep. 2 + 2 is great to find out how to adjust your HUD.

Hey guys, long time no see.
I'm sorry for the lack of posts but I decided with the amount of work that I have with study/playing + mentorship, that I only want to post here important updates of my journey. Right now, I'm doing really well at 50nl and just had a great session that I want to share with you.
This month I broke another personal record. I played my longest session so far and the results were awesome.
This isn't something that I want to do regularly but I was motivated and wanted to take advantage of how good the tables are on Friday night - Saturday morning.
I played on average 3 to 4 tables and this session ended up being one of my best sessions so far.

Hey guys I'm back on 2p2!!

Sorry for not updating the thread in almost 5 months but I felt that most people lost interest and on Instagram it was the opposite so I started to update more there.

I took July off and I came back on August. I had a pretty bad month in August, not in terms of results but in terms of consistency and sessions played. I only played 15k hands and I felt that I wasn't motivated anymore. I made 900$ that month but I felt lost.

I started set goals for every month, not monetary goals, only goals that were only up to me to achieve. I talked with a friend of mine that plays 200nl + and he told me that my lack of motivation was totally normal, that he and most of players that he knows had the same problem. His advice was to start to increase my volume every month by a bit (2.5k hands) and the rest of the time to focus on getting better at the game and find that motivation to play again.

September 2023

The goals were simple I wanted to play 17.5k hands and I wanted to play 20 sessions. I feel embarrassed saying this because in my head I shouldn't have any problems playing at least 25k hands but I'm saying this because I know that I'm not the only one that is going through this.

I played a lot of stakes in the beggining because I wanted to fell in love with the game again and only got back to 50nl at the end of the month. Things were great and I had the first shot of 5 bi on 100nl and these were the results:

Netwon: + 1 005,15$

October 2023

September was amazing so I decided to follow the same strategy and increase my volume goal to 20k hands. However this time my goal was to only play 100nl and 50nl if my shot was not successfull.

My 1st shot on 100nl was far from sucessfull, I lost the 5bi in 2 sessions, so I had to go back to 50nl. It wasn't a problem for me. I knew how crazy are the swings in a 5bi shot. After 10bi done in 50nl I shot again 100nl and this time I started well. I runned pretty well in 100nl and after 22 sessions, these were my results:

Netwon: + 1 086,85$

You don't take shots in poker you never go pro. If you could adjust I'd probably take your $ and go 'live' cause you're crushing 50 NL, you'll certainly crush 100 or 200 NL(possibly 500 NL) if you can adjust to the type of game you're in. The hourly wouldn't be bad if you won at a higher limit.

Either way the discipline, move back down rebuild is the tried and testing method of Nitty BR Management which is next to godliness!

That's one of my goals but first I would like to see where I can go online and if I feel that my edge is not good enough for the games that I'm playing I'll probably go play live.

November 2023

Hey everyone, today I bring you my November results!!

My goals for November were clear:
  • Play 22 500 hands;
  • Play at least 21 sessions;
  • Stay the entire month in 100nl.

I'm really happy to say that every goal was achieved, I played 24 sessions for a total amount of 22 634 hands. My shot take on 100nl was successful so I'm officially a 100nl player!! I will leave my 50nl results and the November results down below.

Last 50 buy-ins on 50nl:

November results:

Netwon: + 2 214.43$

For December I'm going to try to play 25 000 hands but is going to be tough since I'm only going to have between 18 to 20 days to play.

If you guys are struggling to get to 100nl just sent me a message on discord: confucius96 , I think my mentorship is a great place to be if you are serious about wanting to get better.

Good luck guys, have an awesome December!!
