Good day everyone,

I start this post to keep a certain level of responsability about my game and progress.

I've playing poker for about 3 years, but I haven't played in a row, I usually take time off or vacations and left the site. However, I'm plannig to buy a house this year and I hope a good down payment comes from playing poker, therefore, I will only have 1-2 days off per week.

I started back in Jan 2024 with 60 USD in Pokerstars.COM, and 3 months later, I'm staring NL25 1 March 2024. I'm not planning to become a professional (at least as of now) since I have a work and I actually like what I do, however, I want to have fun and make extra money with poker, I'm open to coaching and I consider I can make it up to NL50 with a solid strategy and a couple of coaching sessions. I usually play 3hrs a day and during the weekend and I can make it around 6hrs.

I will be sharing the experience and progess.

After a long break, I started again in August 2023 with 100 USD in Pokerstars and then left in December 2023 with +600 USD, I played NL2 and NL5, but then I took another break around 1 month jaja and started in 2024 with 60 USD.

This was the graph in 2023

For 2024, as I previously said, I'm not planning leaving and I'm hopping I can get a down payment for a house. I live in El Salvador and I speak spanish and english.

This was the NL5 graph in 2023.

I just tried 25NL on Pokerstars but after 1 week I have gone back to 10 NL since I lost 4 buy-ins. I know it's not a lot as I had +700 USD, however, I like to keep a healthy bankroll and I like to avoid thinking about money, so i will re-try in April.

Good day,

I'm updating my results. I tried 25NL back in March, it was good the very first week, however, then I went down to 10NL again.

I'm attaching the 10NL sessions which includes a bit of Zoom sessions.

Rather than trying 25NL again, I decided to join a Poker school to have a more solid game and I considered it has worked as I now felt more confident playing at 10NL.

These are the results

I've been now playing 25NL for a couple of days and everything looks good. I haven't seen that graph yet but I'm planing to do so any time around the first week of May.

I loved the content that I bought and the coaching is a spanish navitve speaker, therefore, it's even better to solve doubts.

The goal is still to reach 50NL by this year. I haven't though about making a living out of poker, but it's nice to see that this is going to my savings.

Congratz, you're doing well.

Not that this would affect you as hopefully this time your shot will work, but stars silently raised the rake for all microstakes reg tables up to and including NL10 and I finally agree with the cool crowd who always said get the **** out of the rake trap asap

This is how it was for reg tables, now only zoom remains this way:

Stakes % Rake 2 Player Cap 3-4 Player Cap 5+ Player Cap
$0.01/$0.02 3.50% $0.30 $0.30 $0.30
$0.02/$0.05 4.15% $0.50 $0.50 $1.00
$0.05/$0.10 4.50% $0.50 $1.00 $1.50

And this is what it is now:

No Limit and Pot Limit* †
Stakes % Rake 2 Player Cap 3-4 Player Cap 5+ Player Cap
$0.01/$0.02 5.00% $1.00 $1.00 $1.00
$0.02/$0.05 5.00% $1.00 $1.00 $1.00
$0.05/$0.10 5.00% $1.00 $1.00 $1.00
