meant if any random player 3 bets me there in that spot i feel QQ would be ahead of a random range there, not knowing if he is tight or loose.. made sense in my head.. i can see how it wouldn't make sense to others.. calm down bro..

I just had one of my worst sessions to date. Yesterday I started playing set about 4 pm, The day started off fine with small wins here and there. If I were to cash out at 10 pm after this hand...

Villain Korean upper middle aged guy (500) makes it 13 in mp, 3 calls, I (136) call in position with K2. Flop comes 753. Villain bets 20, folds to me, I opt to see a turn (hopefully a , then reevaluate) so I call. Pot is now 110. Turn is a 6 of . V checks to me.
Live reads: villain is a solid player, this check typically means he doesn't have a nutty hand, and in this scenario, is particularly weaker than he should be.
After 5 seconds of "deliberation" I shove 105.
Villain goes into the tank for 1.5 minutes, considering a fold, but decided to make a light call with q7 for top pair. I don't improve.

So if I left after losing this hand, I would still be up 250 bucks for the day, but it was early in the night, and I was in chase my losses mode. After 2 hours of C poker by me, I switched tables to another one that seemed less solid: there was a pretty girl there, a guy from Ukraine/Russia. But it was 2 in the morning, and boy was I wrong. I got my ass handed to me, I've never felt more overmatched.

Morale of the story: old Korean guys are super solid, and don't chase losses on a Tuesday/Wednesday night at 2-3 in the am. Only grinders are left.

Uh, what? Super solid opening Q7? Calling off with TP QK?

As is, I'd fold pre about 98 percent of the time.

I'd target this guy for value in the future.

Depends what your thoughts were with the opening raiser, you probably knew he was strong enough to call and that was going to set off a chain reaction of callers. That flop was horrible and a check was in order, but you shipped into that flop. Straights, sets, flush draws, open ended flush draws all were out there. Just need to learn to give up on aces when they are no good or else this thread will end up in the graveyard before St Patty Day.

ya you should have gone to vegas for sure. stay at imperial palace or something for 30 a nite maybe get some free rooms after you play places. rake in la at low stakes unbeatable. rake in vegas very reasonable. same game quality at low mid stakes.

also, the cheap hotels in vegas are way nicer than cheap hotels in la.

Feels gross man. No interesting story for today, lost 1k yesterday. It's my first full day off, felt like I needed a day to recover.

Gl bro, my story is different, but homelessness could be on the horizon...

****ting on bosses car is basically beyond awesome, the thought never crossed my mind, wondering if going back to old work places and going out in a blaze of glory by doing the same is in order...

I've been playing 200 nl, 3/5 blinds.

My bankroll is at 600ish, I haven't been playing these last 4 days or so bc I've been in a depressive state, just staying in, ordering pizza, watching tv.

So I missed the prime weekend grind days, and it's Monday so action is meh. I'm gonna be playing $150 mega satellite 10 $1100 seats guaranteed.

Wish me luck

please dont. go find part-time work (or full time if you can)

start playing again in 6 months when you have a few months rent/expenses saved up + some expendable $ to play with

with that being said...good luck. i hope you ship it

It's definitely a REALLY bad idea to play a $150 satellite with a $600 bankroll. Please follow miamicheats advice. Good luck if you do play! But $600 is not enough to play the 200NL at Commerce either. Either way, I do wish you the best of luck, but highly recommend that you consider getting a job and saving some money first.

Before you lose your very last $, go back home where you have a support group ( family / friends ). Regroup, make better plans next time ( you're young enough ) and then follow your dream once again. You can book a greyhound bus ticket for $ 89.00 one way to Seattle. You are quickly running out of bullets, do the wise thing. Please go home and reload now before the holster is completely empty.
