Im 32 and live in the UK, reason for me transitioning to cash it purely because of time - I cant grind MTTS for hours SNG seem to be dead.

I've been playing poker for around 14 years on and off with MTTS, SNGS and Spin and Gos, with fairly decent success.
until the last month i hadn't played for 3 years due to work moving house (during pandemic) and renovating it.
Oh and I've got a new born baby who was born Nov 22 and was in hospital for the first month so its been pretty stressful few years.

I moved from PartyPoker to GG this week so been getting to grasp with the software and seeing what the player pool was like.

So I deposited on Friday night and have smashed 1000 i know small sample playing reg tables - below is a graph running above EV managed to crack KK vs AK all in pre

i aim to update the thread once a week no matter how many hands i play.

Below is a hand from this morning session - thought it was an interesting spot Blind v Blind - want to know people thoughts on call 3 bet on flop? i think when it checks turn i have to call river imo again if that's a wrong thought let me know

i appreciated cash is a totally different animal to what I'm used to playing

Afternoon,

Just a quick update I've moved up to 5nl with the massive amount of 14BI - risky I know but i think its where you either sink or swim - i can reload but I'm confident in my ability from playing MTTS etc that I can be a winning player at this level.

one thing I have noticed where downloading HH from GG and import to PT4 it doesn't like doing pots bigger than 100bbs has anyone else had this issue? if so can it be resolved?

Goal this week is to play around 2500 hands of 5nl and I will update with the graphs and anything interesting.

Big Goal for the year is to try and get 50bI to play 25Nl

regarding study trying to do a few hours a week looking over hands to see where I'm going wrong - overplaying hands not folding - looking at ways to exploit the pool will be key and one i hope i can pick up on in the next week or so.
