Sunny Southampton today! Gotta get out and lick some sun in the park and start preparing for exams! I got three exams coming up and my goal is to achieve a 2:1 or better on all of them. Our grades does not count this year, but I think it's OK to try to perform and get the fundamentals right before the next two years.

1st Session of Today: Short effective, didn't have too much time on my hands.

Going to try to play another later tonight. Hopefully a 2hour session.

I'll upload my HUD later tonight if anyone are interested in it? I do think it works very good for especially 6m. I have also used color codings to faster identifying players types and their tendencies. Give me a shout.

Did not get involved in anything fancy except for this hand:

PokerStars - €1 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players

Flop: (19.5 BB, 2 players) 9 3 6

Hero wins 18.62 BB

I know this villain will flat AK and setmine, and 4bet QQ+. Just makes it so easy to play against him.

-

****** regular which I try to play against when I see him: Very standard from my point of view, but the flop ship is just mind boggling bad. Same person jammed 120 bbs effective 5 handed with 99 over a 3-bet a few days ago straight into my top range. This is just an example of regs you have to expand your value range against and print mannies. Funny part is last time I value bet him on flop I made it huuuuge, so I figured a small bet might make him spazz. Versus these kinds of players you don't need to have a bluff range at all. Just straight forward ABC Value-betting.

Such a good movie, I know that Rounders 2 are in production and hopefully the number 2 can live up to the hype and then some!

Yo Ladies and Gentlemen, how are you doing tonight?

Played one session today:

I know I played really well and solid this session. However I know I was card dead. I barely had anything but fought thought it like a champ and made value of what I got dealt.

This hand is just an example of a few things:

1) My turn sizing: I just bet really small, because I do not think people had anything better in this spot, and I do not think that anyone are capable of raising turn here with air. My bet is small, but I don't think it's any point making it bigger. In hindsight I think maybe 20-22 bb on the turn is optimal.

2) When you are OOP, and river sort of bricks like that sometimes dependent on who you are playing against you should check to induce vs some people. Especially this villain bets all he's busted draws on the river and he is not really famous for folding. Sometimes you've gotta give them rope to hang themselves, even though the river made the hand really easy to play for me OOP.

Also there is a SCOOP Reload Bonus on Stars: Don't miss it. $100 free USD!

I cannot deposit on Stars with my Norwegian card VISA because of some absolutely ******ed regulations. However HSBC are always helpful, so I figured I could just transfer money from my norwegian account to the HSBC while I was at it. HSBC always seems to be helpful transferring money for teh pokers. It's sort of nice cause then I don't have to get hustled by Netetller or any other e-wallet charlatans.

Cleared out $20 in the first session. It's a total of 2.000 VPPs which should take me about 3-4 days with low volume at NL 100. I usually make 500 VPPs per 2000 hands ish. Everyone should really just deposit and grind it out, espcially micro players. $100 is a good bost for their rolls, and everyone likes free mannies.

Also if anyone is interested in my HUD:

I have also started to look at heads-up and I might go for some bum hunting in the future and especially in the summer when I got the time to find the fishies.

Going to find some savers until then:

becomming good hu will do great for your sh game aswell, especially in bvb/btn vs bb situations. playing 6max while keeping hu tables open for action on the side does great for my hourly, so can deff recommend it.

Yes, very good points savo!

Do you have any recommendations where I should start? I have the Expert heads-up book that was released in late 2012/ early 2013. That might be a good start?

I am fairly used to starting tables, but most of the ring players are not super good at HU, including myself.

I'm a winner at $7 HU SNGs, but only done that for having fun nothing else.

Very short second session, spotted a few whales so went for the hunt.

Also played a few hands vs cb4mvp HU trying to get a table started. He stacked the fish in the first hand 3 handed

Tough solid guy, misplayed two hands vs him, other than that it was fine.

My Positional Stats: Anyone has any comments? I think VPIP/PFR ratio in BB is abit wide. Is it standard? This is a small sample from laptop and NL 100 only from mid ish April. Hence the win-rate in EP, it is because of short-handed play.

Not sure why you picked that girl... kind of a bad choice to suggest I like underage girls since she could easily be older than a few of the other ones. But I do like it, she's very pretty and isn't just showing boobs/ass for the camera like so many of the other girls.

Yes might be sample-size. Could just have ran better in CO or not ran so well on BU. I will get more sample-size and post more positional stats later.
