VLOG DAY 3:

https://youtu.be/c8GpxJDTt8c

Results after DAY 3:

Tough day 3, but very good lessons to be learned. The key in poker is to learn from every obstacle, that's how you get better. Yesterday was a **** show, but good lesson.

A bit behind in volume, but we will make a comeback.. Also I need more profits hah.

Ye, I know I'm good at maths. Just threw 20% out because that's close enough and really high income from 'micros' anyway. Well, honestly, as a reader i'd take anything over 8k (EV) produced as a win and inspiration, as the outcome of your challenge, but of course just dismiss my previous sentence and shoot for the real challenge because that's how to spend the month really successfully, isn't it

Yes, exactly. Because once you're lategame, you play with chips which have ICM value much higher than the buyin and that's where you can print the money. Early game is nothing else than playing 9-max cash with 10% rake per buyin

Very interesting thread and inspiring challenge! I love the format that you do, making a mini vlog every day with the conclusions and lessons learned. Every day when I check 2+2 subscribed thread list I hope to see abarone's, yuhiohpro updates, but I think I have a new favorite

Would be nice if you could record some of your play. Obviously not while 15 tabling, but for example when you are down to 6 tables. I think it would also help you stay focused at the end of the sessions, which is usually difficult task (at least for me). Also would be great to know more about you - how do you usually study, what are your longer term poker goals etc.

Best of luck in your upcoming sessions!!!

Awesome thread.

How do you manage to 15 table and make the correct decisions? I mean how do you find the time to look through opponents stats turn, river bet frequency etc? Are you playing exploitative or gto style poker?

Thank you very much for your kind words.

Yes, I have to do the playing video, because so many people have asked for it. I just have to make sure the video is quality enough (3k monitor), so not sure If the resolution is enough big enough in Camtasia to make it good quality. Should be fine, though.

A lot of my decisions are automated, years of playing, playing millions of hands and simplifying my game as much as possible(while not losing too much edge) and I would say I am fairly quick to change my game, If I notice some changes in opponent tendencies. I play exploitative style. Vs better players I will balance more and play a bit more tricky/surprising, base my game more on simplified GTO strategies.(small c-bets work vs regs as well).

Sick work ethic! Love to have the discipline to do it myself!

Were you always like this, putting in the work, or were you more reserved when you first started out?
