Hi all,

my goal is to grind at least 45 hours every week, 52 weeks long, with 25 days off. Besides this hours I will also pay for coaching, watch some vids, study my game etc.

this thread is to keep me motivated to grind my volume when things are not going well, keep track of my results, posting difficult hands etc.

I really appreciate every support along the way!

My start roll is 850 Euro, I will start on €50nl and move down when losing 5bi. I play poker now for ~one year professionally. I dont really have a graph because I grinded last months in an other country on an other computer. I have always been a slightly winner + rakebackgrinder so lets turn things around

Im gonna drink some beers now and start tomorrow or day after tomorrow with grinding if the hangover is to big

Best wishes and happy new year!

played 3.6 hours
-€220.43,
roll: €629.57
hands played: 651 (first 1.5 hour just one tabling, because setting up things)

pretty dissapointed about this, because I played very bad, at least half of losses was because tilting/not focussing. I was also talking on skype to some guys, setting up my HUD and Holdemmanager. + little hangover because the very good party.

So not really good conditions to play, I thought in game it wouldnt have that big impact on my game. But offcourse it does, but im sometimes to cocky.

I will start tomorrow on 20nl and do a 3bi shot when my roll is 750 euro

goodnight!

workday finished, played 6.23 hours, lost €32.45 (3770 hands), I discovered that I have to give the players a little bit more respect on rivers, so im folding little bit more now on rivers.

I have added my graph, its €50nl from yesterday and €20nl from today. I will try to play tomorrow at least 8hours

Im not much of a cash game player and dont know ur abilities but still 17 buy ins for NL50 its very risky specially if you´re planning on droping when loosing 5 BIs since 5 BIs downswing are very common, dont know just my two cents, good luck wit your challenge.

yeah that's right, but I will still have 30bi voor 20nl, so that's enough

played last 2 days 15.25 hours. Not sure why im not winning yet, I just blame it on badluck. Also watched 2 microstakes pokervids, one on DC and one on BFP, didnt see new things.

Stats so far on 20NL:
lost: -€163.92
Lost in EV dollars: -€83.83
Hands played: 9503

Bankroll: €479.04

Finished my first week of grinding, in the beginning it was hard for me to stay focussed and play my A-game. But during the week it got easier. I played 37.35 hours, so the other 7.65 hours, I will try to play them next week.

This is my 20nl graph of this week:

I'm very confident about my game at the moment, don't think have big leaks or something.

2nd week finished, im started to work a lot more on my game: watching strategy vids, a little bit coaching and discussing more hands with other people.

Played 28.55 hours
lost- €295.78
Ev wise: -€186.14
Bankroll: €168.17
With rakeback: €456.05

Because I will get all my rakeback at the half of next month I will deposit now €287,88 (my rakeback) so my roll will be €456.05

Added a graph: ran in pretty bad setups last session (set over set etc.) So that last swing is not tilting

needed to play 90 hours so far, but played 63.33, so 26.67 hours behind on pace.

total hands played: 32224

I will next two weeks also put a lot of time in theory and when I think most of my new plans/ideas on beating the game are implemented I will start grinding a lot more.

having a losing redline is fine but your redline is -10ptbb, you wont ever be able to win with such a lower redline. -5ptbb is the treshold where it starts to affect your game especialy once you move up.

My guess is you fold to 3bet too often. This eats into your winrate by an ammount that would amaze you if you did some calcs.

Are you playing the same site and stakes as before?

Tnx for your input. I have definitely some leaks here, still looking for the best way to exploit the regs at my stakes when they 3bet a lot. I tried it with more 4betting, but they seem to stack of too light. So I just started to 4bet them only with nuts hands. And call them with hands who are to bad for stacking off, but to good for folding.

haha I looked in my holdemmanager and it's a really big part of my loosings! It's 1/3 of my total loosings on non-showdown winnings, I filtered on: faced 3bet + saw showdown = false. 800 hands is not a really big sample but I think it has to be lot's better as this.

Do you know what a good bb/100 is when facing 3bets?

Yes and no, I used to play 50nl and 100nl last year, on Microgaming, Ipoker and Ongame.

I don't play at Ongame now, maybe in future when there are less tables at my stake or for better tableselecting.

no because i realized that after BF the reason my results have sucked is because i folded to 3bet too much. It used to be ok even at midstakes before blackfriday. Now people are way too abusive especialy with them HEM stats that shows your fold per position. I still have not found a great adjustment because i hate 3bet pots. But have found that if you play 32/25 with 12% 3bet or even laggier, most regs will leave you the F alone when it comes to 3betting.

your best bet is to get HEM2 with the VS hero stats and adjust vs those that abuse you. Try some lines.

Maybe you have to watch some vids on calling 3bets, light 4betting etc. Im downloading now the trial of HM2, let's give it a try.

Deposited 185 Euro on my account, because I lost yesterday an other 50euro, so have 300 euro on my account again. If I drop 11BI before getting my rakeback, I will start playing 10nl with an other deposit of 220 euro.

Just wait untill americanos come back. Vs them you can fold to 3bet a lot and still profit a ton.

tnx, but Im working very hard on my game at this moment and I think, I started playing different as my stats are now. So maybe 4 weeks from now, when im still a loosing player I can post a screenshot of all my stats. But dont think its really necessarily at this moment.

Im not the guy who wants to be passive, just find a strategy which counterattack theirs

but most of the americanos players are obv very bad and don't 3bet bluf etc, so you have to fold most of the time to their 3bets yes

Installed HM2 last two days, took a lot of my time, because I had to make new popups. And the program crashed also, so I had to remake some popups. Program has still a problem, so I will try to fix that, it's not a huge problem. But I think im ready to go grinding with the new HM, so im excited about that.

3rd week finished

played just 8.5 hours (-86 euro in 3k hands), because im still working a lot on finding my leaks, and installed HM2 this week and making good pop-ups took a lot of my time. My biggest leak is not fighting enough for pots, Im to fair to the other players. I also found a couple small leaks on adjusting on the opponents. So im slowly starting to realize my big leaks, Im still very positive about Poker and really want to become a good player!

Good luck all @ the tables!
