Extended days at the Vegas AirbnB to June 7th - July 14th, so June 8th - July 13th will be playing poker. I am going to start with two 6 hour sessions per day at $1/$3 and if I profit and can do that for a week will move up to $2/$5. Maybe take a few shots at higher stakes if I am running well and playing well. I really have no clue if I can do it but will try at least. I might find I ****ing hate my life after Day 4 playing that much and just soak up some sun, but I’m going with the intention of playing and crushing poker to the max capacity. Health always comes first but it’s a work trip and money makes me happy. Breaking even or running/playing poorly will make it difficult for me motivation wise. Which can happen very very easily so part of my success is out of my control but maybe the universe and the Poker Gods will bless me with good fortune. But as I said odds at success are like +1500. When I was in my younger 20s in college I could grind days on end and played and thought about the game obsessively but I’m not in the greatest shape so it will be tougher than it used to be no doubt. It’s all just words and a pipe dream until I put it into action. Being able to follow through is what separates winners. I’ve said a lot of **** so far but at the end of the day now is the time I need to find it in myself to commit.

I’m leaving on June 5th. Going to stop in Denver. It takes 12 hours to get there. If I play 10 hours at Ameristar in Blackhawk, CO I get a free room. So am going to try and leave to Denver 1pm Wed, arrive at 6am Thurs when poker opens there, play until 4pm-5pm and crash in the hot tub. Maybe even piss inside of it. 10 hours after a 16 hour drive just for a free room may not happen let’s be honest but I’ll try. Then leave for Vegas at 8am Friday drive 11 hours settle in and start the grind Sat. I have a few days of work left and some **** to take care of with a move but I’m already completely checked mentally from work and my mind is on Vegas. Still figuring out best free parking spot in Vegas to Aria and Bellagio but I’m not seeing much so may be hustling from Westgate to Bellagio 3 miles each way per day???? Any advice? Let’s get $

Finally got here. Damn that was a long haul. I think about 28 hours of drive time. I made another $6k today in GME after hours, which means I made $16k on a meme stock on the drive to Vegas. I was down about $7k on the position Monday though with a really bad entry of $41 @ 500 shares.. Decided to hold because I was dialed in and was convinced the stock would pop. I'm going to take tomorrow to rest and finish this trade off. I'm not going to sit at a poker table with a $30k+ position in a stock as volatile as GME when 50c swings are more than a buy-in lol. I make about $70k a year in salary at my job so that’s a lot of money for me

On the way into Utah my A/C in my car stopped working, so I drove all the way through 100+ degree weather with warm air blowing in my face in a hot car. It was very brutal. Vegas is hit btw!!!!!!! I also burnt my left arm pretty bad. Good thing is my room for $27 is not bad, and I now am in Vegas with a vehicle and have about 38 days here. Since I'm in the markets right now I've already failed my challenge LOL. Definitely going to put some solid hours in though and am excited to play at Bellagio.

My room wasn't ready when I arrived (I told them 7pm I came at 4pm - even though check in was 4), so I was able to run a few errands and get set up real nice. Did laundry. Cleaned & vacuumed the car. Showered. Gassed up. Found a place I think that’ll fix my ac gonna do that tomorrow afternoon. Just laid in bed after a shower and shave. Most likely will play $2/$5 Bellagio Saturday.

I'm in Vegas, but I'm balls deep on a GME play ($30k+) so am not playing poker until it's done, but just wanted to update on the daily. I'm deep in the rabbit hole, but basically I believe a stock is being heavily manipulated. it's a **** show that's going on that would be impossible to try and explain. But I'm here in Vegas to make money, and GME right now I believe is the play to make money the quickest. Wish it would have done all this a few weeks back rather than right now, but it is what it is and it's one of the opportunities life has provided I am trying to take advantage of. It's confusing to try and explain what's happening with that stock, but basically some of the mechanics are:

A guy named Roaring Kitty (retail investor turned whale - he turned $50k into $280 milion) has timed his call options exercising with the OPEX tailwinds on a T+34 cycle to create pumps in the stock
Hedge funds and market makers will short once calls have been fulfilled and make money/buy time on retail emotion/FOMO
Ryan Cohen (CEO) dilutes and creates a new/higher floor
They start the same process again at the start of another opex tailwind cycle
So a dude named Roaring Kitty has trapped giant Hedge Funds at their own game and he's basically increasing his position on these cycles to create a larger position that he throws right back at them, and only a very few amount of people have figured it out.

I am attempting to play the dips and rips with all those variables and it's very confusing, so far I'm up about $5k but was up $20k before Friday before I got rug pulled, and I feel there's a lot of potential in it.

I know much of this would not make any sense for most poker players, and it all sounds crazy, and I'm still trying to understand it all, but basically what this means is that, Gamestop is about to go BOOM and I believe I can make money quicker than I'd be able to at any high stakes poker table within the next 1-2 weeks. May try and get to Bellagio to play some poker after market close next week, but there's a lot of variables going on with the stock that is hard to understand and keep track of, so it's like a full time job trying to figure it out. If everything goes well I'll make $50k+ in the next few weeks and then hop into a $10/$20 game and crush everything. Or GME will go back to $10 and I'll be grinding $1/$3 and eating Ramen. One of the two is likely to happen. Did go for a 7 mileish walk this morning around the strip to get some fresh air. First impressions of Vegas are that (1) people suck at driving (2) it smells like **** and piss (3) it's hot as **** (4) I feel right at home with the amount of degeneracy in the air

Will update lets get $

If you're spending 8hrs a day researching about GME I'd say you're mostly wasting your time unless you just enjoy it. And everything you said is pretty much mainstream common knowledge.

Meaning if what you stated is what you think is giving you an edge, well welcome to the club of millions of others thinking the same thing.

It's an illusion that because you've spent all this time that you have some sort of edge here.

You don't really have any more edge than the random wsb degen who's going to buy calls everyday for the next couple of months.

In a way it's similar to people who track baccarat shoes and spend hours pouring over simulation data to find a betting strategy.

They think they're doing this super secret stuff that's going to give them an advantage.

But that said gl it could very well work out. My main point is if you have better stuff to spend time on I would recommend it.

Didn't play poker today. Going to head to Bellagio tomorrow after the stock market closes and play some $1/$3. Went for about a 10 mile walk around the strip again. Second impressions are that it's (1) still hot as balls (2) the food is expensive (3) too many people. Met a nice lady today (see pic below). Much prefer her to the chicks in front of the flamingo who smell like cheap perfume and weed.

Spoiler:

Airbnb. There wasn't too many for under $30, and some you get discounts if you book longer time frames.

I enjoy it. It's all interesting to me And I see something in it right now. Next few weeks I should know if I was delusional lol. Plus if I'm right by next week I could be free rolling $5/$10 and WSOP events if I'm $50k richer
