About me
Hi. I am Tim and I am 24 years old. I live in Slovenia, small country in central EU.
I started playing poker more seriously in december 2019, but have played some before from 2018. In January 2020 I bought poker course from RaiseYourEdge and started studying and grinding more and more.

I left my full time job beacuse I was working for more than 50hours per week and couldnt study and play poker as much as I wanted. Now I have a job that allows me to spend more time studying and playing poker. I work just as much as I need for monthly expenses, the rest of the time I spend playing and studying.
My future plan is to quit the job and just play poker for living. So I decided to share this journey with you guys.

I am playing Micro MTT's, mainly on Winamax and GGPoker. I will post here every month, probably on the last day of the month. I will set monthly goals and talk about what I achieved or failed in previous one.

November 2020

For the November I cant say too much, since I had to move to new appartment and because of the lockdown in our city it took me a lot of time to succesfully move everything and sattle in new appartment, so I wasnt able to put the right volume for grinding and studying.

I studied for around 5 hours per week aproximetly and played 320 tournaments.
I made 47,84€ that month. Its not good, but will get better for sure.

Here is a picture of my November graph on Winamax:

Plans for December 2020:

til 24th of december I want to :
Play 21 sessions
400 MTT's
15 hours in HRC
8 hours of other studying

I will post next time just before the Christmas holidays. Till then I wish you all good luck.

Peeeacee!

Hello!

First of all, I want to wish you all the best in 2021!

December 2020
About poker itself I would say in general I played decent, not the best but decent.
About poker study I think I really did well, I studied a lot in HRC, I did a lot of tournament reviews, I studied preflop ranges a lot and I also did some group coaching.
Overall I had a winning month, but it was not as I wanted, I did some BIIG mistakes on Final Tables, which cost me a lot of money and I played very bad in some other spots too. I know this could be a lot better month if I didn't make those mistake, so I reviewed all mistakes and learned A LOT!

December plans:
play 21 sessions FAILED (17)
400 MTT's FAILED (356)
15 hours in HRC DONE
8 hours of other studying DONE

Plans for January 2021:

21 sessions
400 MTT's
2 spots in HRC after every session
10 hours of other studying

I will post next time on 1st February. Till then I wish you good luck !

Peeeeeeeace!!

were those mistakes obvious mistakes looking at it now?

It's more of a mind thing more than a fundamental problem. If you fundamentally know how to play those spots but didn't for some reason you need to fix the root of that problem which only can be corrected while thinking about the motivation of why you played that hand that way. Thinking what you thought in that spot playing the hand again but instead of playing it that way change it and play the correct way even with those thoughts you had in the original spot. through doing this mutiple times you train yourself to not do it again. can be done with pad and pen writing down the correct move you would make mutiple times.

Hi man!
Yeah I know what you think but it was different kind of mistakes. Most of them were just wrong rejaming ranges, actually, to be too wide while rejaming, and few 3bets preflop which given the fact that I was in ICM pressure they were not correct.

But I agree with you, sometimes we make mistakes because of our mindset sure!

I train my mind alot and try to make as good decisions as I can.

Thanks for the answer tho!

QUEEEEEEEEE PASSAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

As I said I will post here every month. I thought I would post a bit better graph this month but It is what it is haha.
So this month I wasn't playing as much as I expected but that is because I was working more, to have more time to play and study during April and May.

Here is the graph of last month:

Current BR: 482,19€

All though its kinda breakeven "ish" month I feel very comfortable since we are studying a lot and I will have more and more time to play and things are gonna go up soon enough.

I also stream poker almost every day at 7.30am [CEST] on https://www.twitch.tv/bojlee and here I am also talking about stuff in my life in general. Feel free to join!

I plan to post more frequent here on 2+2 in future, but at the moment I will still post once per month.

I had an amazing month. A lot of studying, alot of poker, I can see in my game that I am improving, I am implementing new concepts that Coach tought me and things are slowly gonna start moving.

So for next month, just a lot of repetition, grind everyday that I can, I am finally more stable with money since I worked more in May. I feel pretty comfident and I trust myself since I study alot and I really dedicated all my time in this.
So I believe in next few months I will get even better and closer to my dream!

I am very happy with how I played this month and how I study and how much we are all improving as a group.

With results I could be more happy but for now it is what it is!

Hey.

Not too happy with this week, mainly because I wasn't able to rate my week as good as I wanted, since I play bad 2 days, other 3 were solid tho.

About results also not good, but could be even worst.
So plan for this week is to be aware of mistakes I did and put in even more work off the tables.

This week I have some things I have to sort out, so cant play 2 days. For week after that I expect no days off and play all 7 days. Should be fun!

Rating for previus week: 3,7

For next week I want to:
-Rate my game at least 4.0
-Play 5/7 days

Yoo!

Not the best week since I couldnt put the volume in. Played just 4 days, 2 days I had some other important stuff to do and 1 day I ****ed it up cuz I didnt sleep well and couldnt play next day. Like I am some kind of a pussy.

But nevermind, I learned my lesson and will do better this month. I'll try to play 30 days in a row without days off. If I will se that I am not playing well or something, I will for sure take a rest, but since I am very mentaly and phisically stable at the moment I think I can do it. Lets try!!

Hello guys!

So this was an insane week. Not only did I complete all my goals but I also had the best week so far, I had my biggest online score and made the most money in 1 week so far. More important than that, I played great poker and had few very good study sessions. However I did notice that some days I study too long and because of that its not the most efficient, so this week I will try to be more carefull with that and study shorter but more focused and in depth. Maybe not necesarry shorter but more focused for sure.

Other than that, from this week I want the same; put in the volume, playe my best game and be happy and gratefull that I can play poker everyday and just enjoy the proccess. Plus the APL series started on GG, so I am extra hyped for that.

HI guys

Not as good week as previous but here is a post for this week.

I am not too happy with my play this week, I think I could do much better but I still played solid, just had to work more on my focus.

I am very happy with my current study process since I think I am studiyng very efficeintly and very good important topics.

From next week I want mostly to play a bit better, to focus even more between my sesh and then the results will came. Other than that just wanna play every day next week and play my best poker.

Hello guys!

I had some tehnical problems this week with electricity, so I couldn't put in the volume. Also went on a live tournament on thursday so I didnt achieve my volume goals. Anyway, electricity is working perfect know, they repaired it and I can work normaly.

I am very happy with how I played this week, specialy on a live tournament where I played very good poker. Unfortunatelly I didnt qualify for day2 but I am still happy with my play and will go to more live tournaments like this one in the near future. This tournament was 170€ buyin. So my highest buyin so far Now the plan is to grind online alot that I will have enough BR for more live MTT's.
I am also very happy that this tehnical problem didnt tilt me in a way that I would be too frurstrated. Of course I was sad and all but I took it pretty calmly and yeah, not much I could do and I was unexpectedly calm about it haha.

Hi guys!

This is my monthly report. So first month of playing poker full time went fine. I would say great, but I think I could do some things better. I am happy with the results of course, I am also happy with how I played during whole month, but I think in the end I could play even better. About volume also it could be better but I had some tehnical issues.

Otherwise I am happy with 1st month overall and I would rate it 3.9 (1-5).

From october I want to play my A game all the time, I want to play at least 25 days ( around 550 MTT's) and for results, if I make at least 1,2k I will be very happy.

Graph for September:

Current bankroll: 3,052$ (2637€)

BR. is a bit lower now, since I withdraw 800€ for my monthly expenses (bills, food, etc,...)

I WISH YOU ALL GREAT OCTOBER AND TO HAVE FUN!!

I took a long break after the Black Friday then when I got hit with covid I was out of work fully paid for 2 months and picked up sngs then for the first time. Started with $5/$10 Sngs started 6 tabling with a bankroll of $500 now I play up to $50 on average 20 tabling and am pretty profitable not including the nice rakeback and bonuses. I do play mtts on the side I only play up to 16.50s and I’ll throw in a $33/30k here and there (the play is awful even in those games).
