My New Poker Journey.... My New Poker Journey....

**Note** I have created this new thread with better structure as previous was really messy

Little back story...

So im 33 years old, played poker online since i was 18, right at the start of the online poker boom and i will admit, im a losing player through and through. Life can at times be harsh and with a lot of personal strife and bad mental health etc, this caused me to play poker as an escape, and over time became an excuse to not get my life in order. I lost alot of money over the years, i won some here and there but i never truly opened up to learn the game fully, the resources back then was not so avast as it is today and so i kid myself to believing all others are bad and im misfortune. Ohh how wrong i was!

Present day....

So on 28th October i decided i wanted to start again, and i do mean start again. I made a list of what i needed to do...
  1. Find a poker site to play at - Im limited to certain sites due to leaving permanently the top main sites
  2. Purchase poker tracking software - PT4 was best choice for me
  3. Look for online coaching - I searched and found the perfect site called "MicroGrinder Poker School"

I needed to study and start to learn the software and coaching courses in which im currently doing and will do moving forward, i had in past many times tried to create bankroll challenges but they just fell flat due to tilt, not knowing fundamentals and playing out of my means and so my main goal is permanent and is to love the game and learn the game as if it ws my first time and then develop my game to become better

Conclusion...

So i have been playing since then, and yes i have tilted and played out of my means and yes i got lucky to not have my bankroll depleted but i have learned to stay controlled and move forward. Below shows date of 1st November to 23rd November the amount of hands i have played and where i stand currently

..and here is my balance to stand

*Note - balance off a few cents due to site rake back point system

I have a YouTube channel which i will post weekly updates and hand reviews which i have one hand already uploaded and i will post screenshots like ones above so you can all see how im doing.

Please feel free to comment, give opinions and advice and even criticism, constructive mind lol

WEEKLY UPDATE - 28th November

Here are my graph and bankroll balance below:-

Overall thoughts (including video uploaded to the channel - https://youtu.be/F487ZuQzJOE)

I think we moving in right direction but this is only the beginning, i feel for me personally im happy so far as to how im playing and the training content im subscribed to is helping alot
Im also happy that i been keeping my tilt under control and stop playing when i have lost too much, slight downside was playing while i was unwell which came affected overall profit slightly

Anyway just a quick update here, im new to all this youtube and 2+2 forum posts etc so in time these will be better

Thanks for catching up, and on to the next one!

GL at the tables!!

I'm still very new to learning these graphs. I myself use PT4 as well for online play. Seems like we do need to work on this red-line though. I know people say don't bluff the micro stakes. But bluffing opportunities at the micro stakes does exist...but does your story collaborate with the bluff? That to me is the real question.
