Regarding China Apps I personally believe they are rigged, that's why I basically stopped playing, because it was that constant doubt of not knowing what the **** goes on on those apps.

Pretty good results for the stakes you play ! Funny, I came to the same realization you have wrt cashgames in europe (mostly on the EPT / Party barca stops). Same is starting to go for vegas around wsop aswell. Filled with good, solid euroregs. MTTs on the other hand are surprisingly soft, just more variance.

Completely agree with you! This last WSOP were super bad in my opinion, up to the point where I'm thinking of just going to play some MTT's and grind cashgames around the main because it's the time where everybody is in town.

I have to chose my approach to MTT's very smart, trying to not sacrifice to many cashgame hours and being super aware of the variance, so that's something I'm still planning. Also I know my limitations playing MTTs, and they mostly come when ICM is implied in the decisions, and this means playing as much freezeouts as possible.

I'm going to do a proper trip update of L.A, with some foodie pics and so on the next days and also my plans for 2019!

But my idea for next year is basically spending 6 months in the US, play another 2-3 months of live poker traveling around Europe, and spend the rest of the time trying the best restaurants in the world and in Spain. While in Spain, I plan on studying 6+ hours a day usually because I never study much when playing live poker.

Cool thread, I just read through the whole thing. How were the cash games in Mallorca? Does 2/5 or higher run regularly?

I just played once this year, 2/5 just runs occasionally, maybe 1 or 2 times a week max, and anything above that basically runs twice or 3 times a year i think...

Favourite city you visited? Also, what city/poker room would you recommend for a bit of live cash game grind, 2/5 and 5/10 mostly(preferably in Europe)?

My 3 favorite cities are Barcelona, Singapore and Los Angeles if that helps answering your question.

And for those games I imagine London (The Vic) and maybe Barcelona (??) but can't really confirm Barcelona as I've never played outside the EPT.

Been LOVING your updates on thegastrojourney. Makes me so hungry every time I look at it haha. I legit got no idea how you find any time to grind with all this travelling though. Keep up the good work!

I've never been a huge grinder to be honest, since leaving L.A i only grinded a bit online in Mexico and that's it. Returning to the grind in two days though and one of my goals for this year is to put in more hours! Routine is key to a balanced live though!
