first 6.5k hands of the 50/75/100k (haven'tdecided yet) 10NL hands challenge. As you can see it's going absolutely awful. I'm playing awfull. I'm tilting. Yesterday I literally thought about quiting. It's not about the money but it's being dissapointed in myself for not being able to focus correctly and not being able to control my actions at a certain point. If I was a highstakes player and I did things like this it would really hurt not only my wallet but also my mind.
Than again "my last shot at poker" is ofcourse a dramatic statement but it's also me telling myself I want to give it a 100% and this can happen a 1000 times but I wont quit.
So I just need to learn from my mistakes.
So I came up with a few rules to tackle the issues:
-Change my setup to another room in my house (I'm not sitting perfectly in front of my screen).
-Maximum session length of 40 minutes playing zoom, take atleast 20 minutes break from the tables afterwards.
-Maximum session length of 80 minutes playing regtables (even when there is a whale on the table, just quit), take atleast 20 minutes break from the tables afterwards.
-Schedule al your sessions. So let's say I have 4 hours to play. Before playing I should have everything scheduled.
-Post game review after every session. RN I'm doing it once after all my sessions are finished. Would be good to do in the 20 minutes break.
-Pre game goals. Before playing on a day make goals for the day. (I'm already doing this but still mentionable)
-Maximum of 3.5 buy-ins down. Than quit for an hour. I kinda stopped doing this and when this occurs I'm having trouble accepting the loss but I need to start doing this.
-Have my daily run in the morning and change my sleeping schedule. I'm currently kinda living at night/evening and do my daily run in the evening but it would be better to do it in the morning and start the day fresh.
I will post again tomorrow to tell you guys how today went.
Peace
