My journey of playing MTT poker for a living. My journey of playing MTT poker for a living.

Yooooo.

Another interesting week behind me. This one was really diffrent then the one before.
I started the week normal, played in the morning, did sports in the afternoon and studied. Both successful, played well, workout sessions were great, and studying was as i wanted it to be.

On thursday my schedule took a turn, because i went to play a live tourney in Gorica. Because i dont need a car in LJ, whenever i do need it i rent it from Avant2Go, those electric car shareings.
I rented the Golf this time (i think) and drove to Gorica. I had a coffee on the way, listened to good music and enjoyed the ride. Parked at Perla, charged the car and jumped right in to the tourney,
because i was almost a little late.

The tourney itself was one of the best live experiances so far. Why? Because i played really really good poker, also gad good luck with my cards, so i played alot of pots, and im really happy with how i played most of them. For the first time I also had a really good feeling of the diffrence between playing online and live poker, and adapted to that really well and i really enjoyed.
I also had a really fun table, Mitja was on there and we talked alot, a couple of other Slovenian legends and alot of Italians ofcourse. Overall really really happy. A little unfortunate that didnt make it to day2 in the end, but either way, a great warmup before Rozvadov next week, where i will be playing live 4 days in a row. I am very excited about that, and i hope everything goes as planned and that i will be on the way on the 18th.

This night i slept in Perla, and the next day after breakfast, had coffee and a cockta, and made my way back to Ljubljana.

On Friday night i went to a rave that i was excited about for a long time, two of my favorite DJ's came to LJ (Hardbeats event in MediaCenter next to Cvetličarna) so it was kind off the main event of my week. It was very good, i didnt stay that long, i think i was home at around 6am, did alot of dancing, drank a bit so i was a little tipsy, just enough to spend the whole next day on the couch with netflix.

Saturday was a rest day again, watched netflix the whole day, also ate a pizza on the couch because i really craved it! Classic with mushrooms and Tatarska sauce auuuuuu. And then for dinner i went to Azur I think i had spagheti with seafood or something like that. It wasnt the best, the pizza was much better.
That was kind of it for my 'cheat' meals for this week, the other days i cooked good food at home, every day something diffrent, but mostly chicken and steaks, rice, alot of vegetables, and now because its getting warmer, i make juice with orange and lemons every morrning so i stay fresh the whole day :P

On sunday me and Anja went for a looooong walk here around the city and on the castle, and then went down for a coffe at my new favorite coffe spot in LJ :P, and then back home to get ready for 'clicking'. This sunday i decided to play in the afternoon/night, mainly because of the sunday millions, and also a couple of other great tourneys, like always on sundays.
Results wise nothing special, had a big run on GG, but finished a bit too soon for a big result. I think i was in around 500€ profit on Sunday, thats about it, nothing special, im happy it was a green sunday hehe. Sunday milly is gonna have to wait for Bojlee to take it one day :P

Sports wise i am not happy this week, i didnt do as much as i wanted to, at the end of the week i got lazy. I wont be to hard on myself because of this, there was other things on my schedule, but this week i want to do exactly as much sports as i will write here. Unless something comes along that i cant do anything about.
I want to do 3 gym workouts this week+ play tennis once+ run 8km one day. Everything more then that is ok, but i want to do atleast that this week.

I want to play poker 5times this week, today (tuesday) i will study, go through the marked spots and watch a couple videos from last week.

Thats about it for this week. I had fun, a little more party and free time then the weeks before, but thats also good. Thats why i live and work, so that its fun!
But the upcooming week i want to work a bit more and be more productive in general. I like to be hard-working. And this week i feel that i want to put maxmax into poker and studying and the workouts, thats whats gonna make me the happiest this week.

I want to thank Miro again, for enabling me to sleep in Perla. I had fun, the event was great, the cards were nice :P, and i had good nights sleep and the breakfast was amazing! Because of that it was easier to do everything i had to on Friday and i didnt have to drive home at night. Thank you again <3

I also love to see how to poker community is growing in Slovenia, i know im still new to this world of poker, but since i started, i can see that things are moving in a very positive direction and i respect everyone that put alot of their time, energy and money into making this community grow! AMAZING!

I wish everyone a great day, wherever you are and whatever you are doing, i wish you alot of success and joy!

Goals this week:

Poker/study:
-5x poker
-1x day for studying
-Every day go over a couple of important spots (focus on database analasis), 30-45min a day.

Other goals:
-3x fitness
-1x 8km (walk+run, zone 2-3 cardio)
-1x Tennis

Optionally if i have time:
-Sauna

Quee passsooo

Well, here, for the first time this year, I'm writing more than 1 week late. I will try not to make this a habit, I really like to write down my thoughts, successes/failures on Mondays (or the same day every week), because it really helps me
that I am completely "on track" with the things that are happening in my fast, dynamic and full schedule.
Every day I also write a diary (https://urbestself.co/), so that I make sure that I am "on top of things", that I don't live too much in the past or the future, but as much as possible in this moment.

I don't have much to say about 2 weeks ago. The week went like most of the others before it, I played almost every day, I learned a lot, mostly I worked on my mistakes from the database I got
from their mentors.
In addition to poker and studying, I enjoyed the dynamic weather At one point, Anja and I played tennis outside for the first time this year, on a day when it was 25 degrees. It was a really awesome day, and we played great tennis.

After that, the cold and snow came, in those days I enjoyed being behind the screen basically the whole day After the session and study, I did stretching at home, I even skipped two days of training (the weather was an excuse this time,
because I didnt wanna go outside at all), but after the session and food, I went back to the computer to do things for poker, and after that I played warzone until it was time to go to bed

On Thursday 18.4. (i.e. 1 week ago), Anja and I left for the Czech Republic by car in the afternoon around 2 p.m., and before that I was working on things on the computer since morning. From studying, to managing finances, plans for the future, etc... Most
time it was studying, that I came to Rozvadov fresh, with a warmed up brain and ready for 4 days of poker from morning to evening.

The road to the Czech Republic was ok, but it wasn't exactly smooth because I was in charge for navigation and few times I got too fired up about music, so we went a bit wrong way, so the path was around 30 minutes longer cuz of me

When we got to the hotel, Gregor from the PokerPro team was waiting for us at the reception, he gave us information on how to get to the room with the best wifi and showed me the whole area. Thank you Gregor, for all the help in the Czech Republic and also
on home soil! Maybe some people think it's weird that I thank for "every little thing", but personally, such things help a lot, I've never been scammed for any of these "travel tricks", I always get important information, and since I have a fast and busy schedule, and since I am easily forgetful myself, such information saves me a lot of time --- money, which I really appreciate.
After that, Anja and I basically just ate and went to sleepsky.

On Friday, I started the day with breakfast, and then I started Day 1 of the main event as early as 11:00. Played until about 7:30pm when I busted , then quickly registered another Day1 turbo flight and played that until about midnight, untill i busted unfortunately and that was it from poker on Friday. I wandered around casino a bit talked to poker friends, went for a dinner I don't remember exactly when, because I was in the casino from morning to night and I'm totally losing track of time. Then it was time to sleep, at around 02:30.

On Saturday, I started playing a little later, missed 1 level of the tourney and registered Day1 normal flight at 11:45 ish. That day I played this flight until the end, which I think was around 02:00, made day2 with 35 blinds ( Started with 50k chips, made 345k stack of chips which was avg for day2 ). After that flight, I took a shower, had something to eat, and then joined the cash game table and played there until 5:15. This was definitely my favorite day of poker ever, a full day of tournament and then finishing the day with a few hours of cg. In addition, I met a Slovenian cg player at the cashgame table, who was truly a legend, he says he plays cg fairly regularly, and he's a maestro at it! Besides Blaž and Luka at the table, I opened a couple of interesting topics with him, and besides playing we had a good time and talking about interesting things. This day/evening was one of my favorites! A REALLY AWESOME EXPERIENCE, and I still can't believe that this is part of my job and how much I enjoy it!
However I always experience these moments really well and remember them, I'm a little sorry that I didn't capture these "friendly" moments in the lens of my phone, so that I could then publish them here.
I'll try, and I PROMISE MYSELF, that in the future I will take more pictures of such moments so that I can post them, and after reading/watching them back, I relive a little these moments that spike my dopamine to high levels

After a long sleep from Saturday to Sunday, I started Sunday around 15:00, with breakfast and a short (7 minute lol ) walk, went to breakfast/lunch, and started day2 at 17:00 (alpa 18:00, not sure if). I was eliminated after about 70 minutes of play by making a mistake. I learned a lot from this situation, and next time I will be more prepared and not make these mistakes. The main reason for the error was that that I simply did not take enough time for my decision and consequently made the wrong move.
After I got out of the main event, I went out for a few minutes to get some fresh air, and then I registered for a side event with a registration of €550. I played great in this tournament, even better than before in the main event. At the table I also met one Macedonian player who was really a legend, I had fun with him, played a couple of interesting spots with him and about 3 hours later, I was eliminated. Nothing special, with a good hand I stumbled into an even better one, and it was time for nina nana
Or rather, before nina nana, I went with Anja for a beer (she for 3 tequilas...), and then went to bed.

On Monday I also woke up very late, rolled around in bed, then went to breakfast/lunch. After lunch, I went back to bed to rest, and then at 17:00 I started the last side event
€150 turbo. I put two bullets into this tournament, and ended up with no success. Busted just after late registration and that was it from poker for me. I was still interested a bit in the cashgame that day, but since it was Monday, and most of the players went home, I skipped cg and enjoyed some free time with Anja, we walked around the casino, had two or three drinks with the other Slovenian companions, talked for a bit and that was it.
We went to bed a little earlier that day, so the next day I woke up quite rested at around 10.45.

Gregor and I went to breakfast together on Tuesday and after breakfast we did an interview for the PokerPro website. This interview will be up once this week, and I will share a link below where you can read it.
https://en.pokerpro.cc/

The main takeaways from this trip for me are:

1. I really enjoy live poker, so I will try to go to live events every 3 months (of course, as long as the bankroll allows).
2. It's really important to me that when I change my environment, I don't change my habits, but just adapt them. (I need to get used to the change in schedule and environment a little more, to still do sports and keep up other habits)
3. I am endlessly grateful for all the help I get from friends/colleagues in the poker world.
4. Don't listen to the good music when you're navigating, because you're not capable of handling two things at once in the car (ROFL)

As I already thanked Gergor and the PokerPro team above, I would also like to thank the SPT team and the organizators. To each one separately, first of all, for everything that you have done for the whole even, I think that every Slovenian who was there was
very oriented because of you, everyone got all the information and it really showed how good things are going when "SLOVENIANS STEP TOGETHER". It's really awesome to see how the Slovenian poker community is growing
like all of you individuals from the SPT team, you are one of the main parts of making things go the way they do. I believe most people don't see it, but I know it myself
and I understand how much time and effort you put into it and THANK YOU FOR THAT! I'm grateful to be a part of it!

This lady painted this beautiful picture during the series and then gifted it to the winner. Just amazing <3

Also, thanks to Anja for coming with me. In Ljubljana, we are both busy most of the time, and we don't have enough time to be together, so I said "hey, you can go to the Czech Republic with me, I'll be playing cards most of the time, but we'll maybe find some time for us as well". she said "Let's do it, I'll work in the room, but if you'll find some time we'll have some fun for sure". Well, in addition to working the whole day, she found time to bring tangerines to my table and even ****ing peeled them and cut into pieces so that i would eat easily and like a god, delivered coffee and water, that I was hydrated and drugged the whole time Thank you for that, my performance is even better because of your help, and for that I am INFINITELY GRATEFUL!

I would like to tell myself that next time I will take better care of my daily routines, and go outside for fresh air more often during breaks, exercise a little more, and definitely go out of the casino every day, at least for a walk, to see daylight, because these 17 hours of playing cards indoor, without knowing whether it's daylight or not (Saturday to Sunday), it's ok if it happens once or twice, but when I'll be going to live events for several weeks/months, I definitely don't wanna repeat this patern and it will be even more important that I do some mandatory things for the body and "soul" every day

Overall experience 8.9/10.
Why isn't it 10/10? My routine mentioned above could easily be better, plus stuff in the hotel, and the hotel itself was not the best experience. The first thing that confused me the most was that the stuff in the hotel was not the friendliest in the world. considering that you are sleeping and gambling there, would be good to have a bit cheaper or some free meals.

It's not bad, it costs 10€ each entrance to the restaurant, so 30e per day (breakfast/lunch/dinner), again it's not bad, of course. Also it's self-service, let's say there's quite a lot of choice(ish, could be better imo), but especially from what I have heard from people in other locations around Europe, given that Rozvadov is really one of the most popular poker rooms in the EU, I would expect that they would offer a bit better service tho.
I think that if this wasn't my first trip to the live series and I wouldnt be hyped as hell, I would rate them worse than I did

Plans ahead, nothing special. Grind online as much as possibru, In May, the scoop is goin on, so I will probably change my schedule to night for at least a week or two, maybe for a whole month. Otherwise, nothing special, play at least 5 times a week, every week 3x mandatory training, the rest optional, as much as possible. As much tennis as possible, especially now that its getting warm outside, the goal is twice a week, and I really have several candidates to play with, I don't see why it wouldn't be doable.
I will prioritize sleep a little more, 30 minutes more every day, so that I sleep at least 7 hours 30 minutes every day, that's kind of optimal for me i think.

I want to have a bit better freetime, and I want to be more chill, to really TURN OFF, it seems to me that sometimes I overthink things going back and forth, so I wanna focus a bit more on present moment when I'm away from tables. I just want to have fun, relax, rest and be with people I love, and in my head I put as much peace as possible and not too many demanding thoughts.

That's it, next time I'll be in touch on Monday, despite the fact that today is already Thursday
I'm glad to be back and in my routine and cant waiting to play online tomorrow against the morning bastards!

Next week's goals:

Poker/Learning:
- 3x playing
- 1x study day
- Every day spot or two (focus on database analysis), 30-45 minutes a day.

Other goals:
- 2x fitness
- Sauna

Optional if I find time:
- Visit friends that you didn't see for some time.

I have had the pleasure of meeting Tim during my trip to the Czech Republic. It comes across his posts in the blog, but meeting him in RL was definitely different. Tim really is one of the warmest, honest and most humble people I've ever come across at the poker tables. He was really open in talking about his struggles and the way he decided to fight them. There was no hidden agenda or secret motives, just heartwarming friendliness and sincerity. He's offered help in terms of advice to a complete stranger (we've only met that night at the table). I was struggling with a downswing prior to the trip, so I wanted a bit of a change of scenery and this day was definitely the best one in terms of experience. You have made me reconsider my approach to poker and I wish to thank you for it!

I didn't expect that 2+2 comments will left me in tears, but you succeeded my friend

I mean, what can I say even...

For me to read something like this means everything. It's defenetly weird in some way that this is standing out so much nowadays, I think this kinda approach with life should be a bit more "common" for everybody. But unfortunatelly it isn't, so I'm grateful even more that you as well find gratefulness and happiness in that way.
I feel blessed for meeting you as well, I think I live and work for moments like that one in Rozvadov.

And thankfully you didnt take much money from me in that night
Boy oh boy didnt I expect to sit down on table with such maestro

It was an honor meeting you as well, I hope we meet soon again brotherman.

"Thank you" would be such an understatement for your kind words, but I honestly AM VERY THANKFUL for your words.

On to many more sir!

Good morrning

This week im going to be very short. Im writing just because its Monday, so i stay 'on track' and do my ritual.
Considering the last post was on thursday i dont have much to say.

I completed all my goals, played baisically every day, and did sports every day. I didnt go to the sauna though, because i wasnt feeling
very well and i decided to skip it.

Results wise this week was a bit worse, i was down around 1k-ish. I played well (7.6/10), kind of average, i am not very pleased with that,
but most of the time i played alright, but at the end of my sessions i got sloppy and made mistakes, wich also got me in kind of a bad mood,
and i will fix this approach in the upcoming sessions. It is really important to be on your very best from the first to the last hand, and
that is currently an issue for me, so this is where im putting alot of effort to be consistent.

Im really exctied for the month of May, thats why i will prep myself this week and take more time, because in May i am expecting alot of poker

Plans for the upcoming week are a bit different.
May is coming, wich is full of poker, SCOOP is on PokerStars, and another big series on GGPoker, and i will probably switch my schedule so i will
play in the evenings/nights, atleast for 2 weeks if not the whole month. So this week i will have more free time, i will probably only play 2 times,
and the other days i will use to visit friends that i havent seen in a long time, and one day i will go help my father on his farm I will try to take
1 or 2 days for studying, atleast a couple hours (2h-4h a day).
Also this week i will find time to go to the sauna and a massage.

Sports wise i wont push it this week, i will go play tennis atleast once, and atleast one gym session and a walk, otherwise taking it easy.
Mainly because in the month of May i want to do a more serious 'challange' and i will set a few sport and nutrition goals, nothing crazy, but just so its
a bit different then usual.

I will write next on Monday, untill then, HAVE FUN and i wish you all luck

Goals this week:

Poker/studying:
-2x poker
-1x day for studying
-1x HRC with Miha

Other goals:
-1x fitness
-1x tennis
-1x Sauna

Optionally if i find time:
-Massage

Gooood morrning

Another week behind me, this time almost without poker and many other things.

Like i said last week, i had other things to do this week. Mostly for hanging out with friends and family, and some studying.
This week i played only 3 times, twice very solid, and once very bad. Overall i was down about 200$, nothing special, but it could be better.

Besides random coffes and hanging with friends in LJ, and a night of partying, my highlight this week was Monday.

On Monday I took my youngest cousin (she will be 10 I belive), on a birthday shopping spree and then around Ljubljana.
First we went to buy some clothes, dresses, shoes etc,...

I enjoyed the fact that she found things she liked very quickly, and she was full of
joy during the shopping haha. Then we went to the city center with electrical scooters, we went for a walk and ate a pizza. Then we had ice cream
and went to see the view of the whole city of Ljubljana from the tower of the Ljubljana castle.

We walked around a bit more and it was soon time for me to take her home to the village where i was born and baisically grew up in, I visited a couple
of friends and neighbours there, couught up on things and then i went home to sleep.

A very 'basic' day some would say, but I enjoyed these very simple momments, to walk and talk and to see how the kids look at life. You get an idea of how
life looks like from a diffrent point of view wich is really really fun.
Also my cousin is probably one of the smartest kids ever haha, so she always asks interesting questions, and i can talk about interesting things with her,
not like other kids her age that are really just kids. She is a bit of a 'genius' i think, a bit ahead of others, and i really enjoyed this and was very
happy to spend the day with her.

Another really cool thing that happend to me was dinner with two of my really good friends in my favorite resturant in Ljubljana (Čompa),
I havent eaten there in a while, and ofcourse they pampered my taste buds again and it was just amazing.

On Saturday i already felt a bit weird and almost sick, and then on Sunday something got to me and i did get sick. Not really optimal because i really wanted
to be ready for the night schedule grind this month, but i will clearly need to take another day or two off so i can get better and then start when i am ready.
As far as i know my body, i should be okay somewhere around Tuesday or Wednesday, so i plan on playing on Thursday.

I didnt do any sports last week, and im not even mad about it, because i didnt plan much, i should have gone to the tennis match though, but we rescheduled it.
I will make up for it all this month.

I will not force anything this week because im a little sick, so right after this or in next weeks blog post, i will also write down my whole plan for May,
because i will set a couple challanges for myself this month. One is goin to be a food challange, one a sports challange, and ill find something else that will
be good for me. I wont go too hard ofcourse, because i will need more energy for poker, but i would like to achive a couple of new goals.

Thats it, I will say some more next Monday.

This month is one of the biggest and most important months for poker players this year, so i wish everyone enjoyes and gives maximum effort on the tables!
Luck comes on its own!

''Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity''

Goals this week:

Poker/studying
-4x Poker
-1x day for studying

Other goals:
-1x Fitness
-1x Tennis

Optionally if i find time
-Visit my Father

Yooo.

Im writing in the middle of a very busy schedule. Because i will be playing the night schedule for the next 3 weeks griding these May series, i will be a bit shorther on these monday blogs,
simply because i dont have that much time.

This week went by really fast, i successfuly switched my schedule and i am now playing in the evenings/nights.

The routine looks kind of like this, as soon as i get up i have a small breakfast, i write in my morrning diary, and i do a workout (fitness, walk, run, tennis,...).
After the workout i have a big meal, chill a bit (10min) and go for a walk to the center of Ljubljana and get a coffee. I hangout a bit and have a chat (60-90min) then i go home.
At home i meditate in the garden and then i start up my computer and start registering into tourneys.

I play till around 02.30 in the morrning, or if have deepruns i can play untill 06.00.

This week i did everything i planned to do, only the tennis was canceled, so i will make up for it this week and try to go twice maybe even three times.
I played poker very well, the results were ok, more so, i was really really satisfied with the way i played.

On friday i was free and i had a really nice day. I visited my father and his farm with Anja haha. We chatted for a bit and went for a walk (with a tractor, and it wasnt a Zetor, i think),
we fed the animals, we ate some grilled chickend and vegetables (anja prepared the firewood, she was hyped) then my father gave us some meat from his farm and we headed back to Ljubljana.
Really a nice day in nature on the sun with my favorite people. It gave me great energies and motivation for this work filled month.

I will leave a couple of pictures from this week down below, a quick update next monday as well, and then at the end of the month, or at the end of the series (middle of June-ish) i will make a
bit longer post, i will also post my results and the graph from sharkscope so we we can all see if we made any money or not :P

I dont wish for anything specific in the next week, i will work everyday except saturday (im going to a wedding), i will also workout everyday except saturday. Except for doing my best and max everyday,
i dont have any special plans. I hope the weather is going to be nice so i can i go play tennis twice, and thats it. Im excited for this week, i have alot of energy and motivation, so im ready for new
adventures.

I wish everyone a nice and successful week!

Goals this week:

Poker/study:
-6x poker

Other goals:
-3x fitness
-2x tennis
-10km (walk + run)

Optionally if i have time:
-Massage

Hellooo dear friends!

I haven't write for a long time ( a bit more then a month I believe), and the reason was scoop grind. As I said I focused almost
exclusively on playing and optimizing sleep time and beeing outdoors, so writting a blog for which I always like to take time and
do it slowly and with as much passion as possible, just wasn't the priority.
So now I'm happily writting this and summarizing the month of May and beginning of June.

Doing so from my short vacation/workcation from Croatian seaside.

Wow, what a journey this month has been. It was my most succesfull month of online poker results wise. It was for sure the most intense
and most poker filled month of my career as well, I belive. It was all about playing and seting up perfect conditions mentaly and pshysicaly
to perform at my best.
I will share results and some statistics at the end of the blog, but now I wanna start with explaining how my day looked like during the
series.

I played most of the days in month may (I took 3 days off I think). So most of the days were pretty similar if not identical.
I woke up around 13.00 (between 11.30 and 14.00, depends of the deepruns the day before), went straight into icecold shower and
then writting daily gratitude journal for which I took around 4-8 minutes.

After that I got a quick snack, usually some protein jogurt plus fruits, or some smothie with proteins and some oats, something similar
every day. After that I did some sports for an hour and a half, either fitness, tennis, running or some days I just walked for like 2 hours.

When I finished training I went for some food and ALWAYS NECCESARRY FOR A COFFE OUTDORS! This was my favourite time, and actually only
total free of poker or hard tasks time this month and I enjoyed this coffee times a lot. Sometimes I was alone, sometimes with friends, but
I was always very grateful for that time and it put me in relaxed mode.

Just before the grind, I prepared some food, because as MTT player I'm unable to cook a proper meal at 5 minute breaks haha.
I waas lucky enough that my brother who currently lives with me was helping me with meal preps when I didnt have time for it at all.
So in the future, I will for sure take in considerating, paying someone for some absic stuff like cooking, cleaning etc etc... All tho
I really enjoy doing most if this taks alone, some months or periods of life when I'll be in heavyheavy grind mode, I think it will be
better financialy and timewise for me to have some kind of help.

When I had food and drinks ready for the grind, I was ready to rock, but to make sure I'm at the right place mentaly, I always
meditated for 7 mins at least before the grind. Would prefer 10 minutes, but sometimes 10 was too much, cuz I have bigbig problems
of sitting still and being in complete silence and boredom, so 5 mins was minimum for me, 10 was the big boy goal and around 7 minutes
was what usually happened Now when I'm meditating its usually 10 mins, so with practice It became easier.

Then I started playing, I played from around 17.00 till 03.00 most of the days. Some days I started a bit earlier and some days a bit later, I finished usually at around 2.30 but some days we went big time till around 05.30. Those were the days when I had some big runs
or the once that took long because of the tournament structure.

I made sure to make my office dark as possible, for easier focus and no distractions from nice sunny days outside

After the sesh I went to sleep almost imidietly, read some stuff in discord server or just watched some youtube videos to rewind and
be chill for sleep.
I slept a lot, I slept at least 8hours and 30mins per night.

This was my daily routine when playing.
When I had a day off, or shorter session I would do all sorts of stuff.
One day I went to play squash for the first time

One friday I took off to take bestfriend of mine on a party. Since I was sober for this minth we took advantage of that and went with car
for a party in a town nearby, where I was lucky enough of seeing good friend of mine perform on stage at his(their) concert.

This day was sososoo special, Eva was so happy that I took time and we went to eat and dance and haveing fun at the concert. I really really enjoyed that day, it was MAGICAL!

Other day offs I spend mostly with Anja and some light walks in the town and one day we also visited my cousins and had a nice walk around
village where I grew up, it was another great sunny day.

I also started getting back on the skateboard. Back in the days (when I was 16 years old and till 23 yo), I used to focus mostly and only
on skateboarding and I enjoyed it a lot. Since now I don't have that much time I basicly stopped, but I'll sure spend a bit more time skateboarding now that summer is here and also they build a very nice skatepark indoor near me so I guess I'll jump on it as much as possible.

To make a summary for entire month of May/June, I want to mentioned what I learned.

Number one is for sure that I really reach my best performance and best "well being" when I' focused on living as healthy as possible and that for me means to eat as much as possible at home, to spend as much time as possible outisde doing sports and when working to be 150% present for work and try to be for a percent better every day.
I also figured out that as soon as I don't plan my days/weeks I start feeling weird and not the best, just because I dont dont that much stuff and I dont feel fullfilled.
That doesnt mean I have to be hyper active 365 days of the year and 24 hours per day, but I find my sweet spot in being crazily occupied MOST OF THE TIME and then to also rewind and be totally opposite for some hours per week and some days per year, but most of the time I wanna spend my time as I plan it and I plan it in a way that every day brings shitton of things to do, most of them I love, some of them I dont like that much but are neccesarry (running, fitnes) but I really really find my peace when my schedule/life is full of things

Poker helps with that because when I play I need to reach calmness, patience and kind of "meditating" state of mind, and at the same
time its intense haha. Kinda hard to explain but it just goes so well with my life.

So biggest take away for me from this month is to trust myself and to live my life as I'm living it now and continue to grow and continue
to try to reach my highest potential and be hungry for being better because thats the journey I enjoy.

Poker wise I learned that being 100% confident and trusting yourself is sososo crucial. I underestimated how important this is and this month I approached the game more confident and trusting myself more and I really thing that spiked my performance overall and that had big big impact of how I played.

Another important thing I learned was tournament selection. I can talk a bit about that in near future (this post will be already very long), but longstorsy short, I was picking MTT's really really carefully and that played big role in having many runs. I think and believe that in evening schedule this is one of the most important things (in all other schedules as well obv), because there i soo much to play and if you wanna play your best and not play too many tables, this is one of the most crucial aspects of the game which manymany (including me) underestimate. I prioritized POKERSTARS and ACR and IPOKER over everyrthing else, and I think they have best structuers and mtts. Favourite tournament of the month and of evening schedule is the new 22 marathon on PS. Long levels, not that many people and great structure overall.

Need to win this new fav tournament asap

I started the series with with ZERO expectations, or even more than that, i approached it with mindset "what do I need to do, that even if Im down at the end of scoop, I will feel that I gave my best and will be HAPPY WITH PERFORMANCE and hungry for more". With that being said
I played a bit lower stakes than in morning schedule just to make sure I have ccorrect Br.mngmnt and was only trying to ahve 10/10 performance every day and I didnt care for results.
Little did I know that I will have veryy succesfull first 3 days and I was soon able to play a bit higher. I played around 20 abi for the series, lots of satelites as well and lots of MTTs in general.

I finished the month with my BIGGEST ONLINE month of my career, making close to 11k$ and almost doubling my bankroll.
I feel blessed for rungood ofc, but I also feel more then blessed for my approach and performance. I'm really happy and proud of myself
of my work, of my approach and my discipline and as well really really happy for how much I enjoy this entire process.

To summarize, here are some monthly stats:

For this one im really really proud, I satellited for 20 dollars and played the tournament like it was 10 dollar one. I gave zero care that its big buyin for me, I gave zero inch to all the good players and specially in deeprun where all players left were at least decent if not good HS regs, I really gave it my best and performed good. A bit unlucky in the end, but was very very happy obv.

This run happend between playing stackozaurus FT, and after I busted 215 I only have this one left. I played good and was very lucky 12 left when 4 players busted in 1 hand and I got 1k payjump and had 22 BB's oon FT as last in chips lol
On FT all players were bad and very splashy so I was very comfortable and I knew I was best on the table, so soon we were 5 way and I had avg stack of 35 BB's. I played very very well here and then I came with 80 BB's 3 way with another player having 85bb and shortie with 20bb ish.
Then this happened and I was out

Very happy with my performance that day, specially in deepruns and also in this specific hand which had a lot of player dynamics behind.
I was obv dissapointed to lose, but thats how poker works and that just left me even more hungry for trophies and FT's like that.

On this day I was up around 10k, that was my biggest online day so far. Very GRATEFUL FOR THAT!

After scoop grind I took 2 (almost 3), weeks off to spend time with girlfriend and my close friends and some family time as well.
I did bunch of stuff, I'll post pictures down below. Went to croatia seaside for few days and spend there working a bit everyday,
did some solver work, played 1 day and I wrote this blog in between.

As I'm finishing this post, I'm already with 1 step into my next week, which is gonna be another week off, I'm gonna go and travel through
Bosnia and Hercegovina for around 7 days. Gonna do that with my best friend Eva, and after that take 2 days for study and then get back to morning grind for a month or so.

I will now continue with posting blog updates every Monday since I'll be a bit less busy, and to easier keep track on whats going on.

Plans for further weeks and months are nothing special, just continue to get better in the game day by day and play as much as possible and spend weekend mostly in nature and doing all kinds of sports.

During winter (December till March ish), I wan't to move to a better timezone to be able to play evening schedule in the morning, so I'll try to move to Mexico or smth similar during that time. I want it some place thats its a bit cheaper then here but still safe and good
internet connection. If you guys have any recommendations pls let me know. Would appreciate anykind of tips.

Pictures from free time after scoop:

There was a big car event close to my city and it was happening exactly on my birthday on 8th of June and we went there with Anja, had few drinks, saw some friends and also
had much fun on this rally simulator.

Same night I went out with Anja and had few drinks and dances to celebrate my birthday. (No pictures from that night thankfully :LOL)

3 days later we went to seaside nearby and spend time there doing all sorts of stuff:
Playing tennis...

Climbing Tarzan mode

Seeing Anja happy as a 5 year old child here, was the biggest gift of my free time I could possible imagine.

We ate a lot

Daydrinking was new daily activity

Stunning Anja enjoying her free dinner since she won our tennis battle

We went running as well and enjoyed hours long talks by the sunset.

Enjoyed grilling + beers as well.
Also, hate to brake it to you but, this is how peak male performance looks like

And yeah... There was meat as well don't worry

That would be it for this time. A biiiit longer post, but I hope you guys like it with more pictures. I made sure to document a bit more this time.

I'll writte next monday.

Seeya guys and I wish everybody a great great summer <3

Great update. Thank you very much for taking the time. Those last few pics were eye twisters for me. For some reason that white wall registers as a lake or pond or some sort of water body in my brain and then the zigzag of grass across the top was throwing me off, lol.

Yooo.

Another week around.

I'm slowly transitioning from totally free days to more productive days.

I haven't been playing much yet because I decided at the last minute to go to a match in Germany in Frankfurt, so it took me 2 days (3 with recovery).

Regarding the match and the atmosphere in Germany, I really have no comment, because I don't think you can put it into words. I'm so glad I went and experienced another "one of a kind" experience.

After that I rested for a day, legit laid all day and was on the couch haha. There must be days like this as well ofc

After that I played online for 2 days, one day super good and one day a little worse. The results were good every time, one day I even made 2k, which is very good for the morning schedule.
So a great week in terms of results, but it could have been much better in terms of performance.

The goals for this week are to play every day except today (Monday) because I have some appointments plus the other half of the day I'll spend in solver.
I will also spend time on one rented HRC server. For those of you who may not know what it is, in short, a supercomputer that you borrow online (remotely) and solve very complex poker situations via desktop sharing haha. Long story short, I'll be nerdin' entire day

I want to play all the other days, except for Saturday, when Anja and I are going to her best friend's wedding.
Above all, the main goal of this week is to improve performance and to have a better thought process. These are the main goals in addition to ENJOYing this path/career of mine every day.

Apart from poker, I also want to train a lot, or at least 4 times this week, once I would go to tennis, and the rest to fitness or some other sports (running, basketball,...).

At the moment I'm really enjoying my days, every day I do something productive if I'm not playing poker, but on the days when I play I have a really good time, after playing I always do some kind of sports, I spend a lot of time outside with Anja or other friends. Summer is really in full swing and I really enjoy every day and try to make the most of all the sunny days and moments.

A little shorter post this week, a bit more next week when I finally have a little more poker under my thumb, so I can share more "poker content" with you.

Poker Goals:

- 5x session
- 1 day of study
- every day at least 45 minutes drilling IP vs BB spots on turns and rivers

Other goals:
- 3x intense trainings
- 1x easy training
- write a diary in the morning and in the evening every day

I wish everyone a nice and productive week!
