Tyty. It's an ongoing process of learning
If I were to ever go into a food-related biz, it wouldnt be a restaurant (even though i really love the idea of it). Wouldn't be the best business decision.

If i ever had 6+ months to spend in a big city like LA or NYC i'd for sure take a culinary course (saw some 20 week programs that looked really good)

Yeah, mentioned it a few months ago. I don't see it as a big deal as i was never a "radical"/picketing vegetarian that didn't eat certain things because I vehemently believed doing so was morally/religiously wrong. For me, it was simply a matter of preference. I enjoyed the taste and health benefits of certain foods much more than others, so to make things easier when eating out or with others I threw the "vegetarian" label on myself. Recently, however, due to the influences of people close to me, and among other reasons (like my interest in culinary art and traveling), I have learned to appreciate and incorporate into my diet a much wider range of food (aka meatMy Journey in Live Mid-High Stakes My Journey in Live Mid-High Stakes My Journey in Live Mid-High StakesMy Journey in Live Mid-High Stakes ). I still enjoy vegetarian food very much though and if I had a bottomless stomach I'd eat them all!

Hey babe thoughts on summer vacay in Whistler with the whole fam? Did Jackson Hole 2 summers ago and loved. Enough to do out there?

Please to be advising as I'd like to take advantage of the lolCanada exchange rate

I assume you are looking to enjoy the great outdoors? If so I prefer jasper + banff + calgary. Not much to do in whistler in the summer, went there for 1 night like 3 years ago. Pretty small village there crammed with tourists. Went to jasper earlier this year as part of my great white north road trip and banff also ~3 years before that, they are right next to each other and make up a much bigger area with way more stuff to see IMO. Calgary is also only an hour away from banff.

I'm sure canada will be happy to take your money.. accomodation will be pretty pricey at either choice

Broaden your horizons.

Probably not much for the Slim family standards in the back woods of Canada.

Ok doll. Should have been more specific. I like the proximity of Whistler vis-a-vis Vancouver. Like to check out a day or two there. Looking for normal stuff: hiking, wildlife, mountain biking, maybe zip lining, etc. but yeah also looking for cool town with good restaurants, cool shops, etc.

But if Whistler is lame maybe I'll broaden the scope. To Banff, etc
