Since you didn't, it allowed the overcaller to potentially improve. I wouldn't mind the call behind if it was just between you and the short stacker, but with 3 players I would isolate and raise. As played, I would still call, but I don't feel too good about it.
Yeah i thought the board was pretty dry, but raising the flop would not be bad

I'm probably folding.
edit: Also like the logic for calling flop. In addition to what you said, if we raise we fold out a lot of tp or even lower pairs/low equity hands from sbs range.
Yeah i thought since Im so under repped on the flop (where most people will raise with KK in the same spot), and the fish could be so wide, SB shoving with something like 89 there can get better hands to fold and decent equity even if called. However, even though i dont think he's nutted here because he will probably take the CRAI line, i COULD see him taking the open shoving line with two pairs or a set. The turn is pretty good for his flop overcalling range
I think the bottom of my calling range (against an unknown perceived to be a nit) here is two pairs (which locks sets), or maybe top pair + flush draw/open ender. Id also call if he's much shorter. My coach thinks it's a call though so maybe im just being nitty. Meh, it's hard trying to figure out fish logic.
