Re: My journey to becoming a millionaire

very nice volume. How do you motivate yourself to play 6-8hrs per day? Doesnt your game degrade a bit after the first 2-3hrs of the day? Don't you ever feel hungry? bored? Dont you feel scared to play when games are bad?

Or did you just start with those problems and grinded badly through it untill somedays it became easy to do and you started having no problem playing during bad hours.

$, period.

but it's just like a normal 9-5 right, everybody goes to work each day, poker players just work from home, that's all.

maybe so, that's why I play 3-4 sessions of 2-3 hours a day.

no, because when i take a break I eat , to avoid this feeling whilst playing

i used to feel hungry sometimes, but that was 2-3 year ago when I did the long sessions without a break. downswings hurt alot less when overrolled for the stake so i just play where i feel comfortable and don't care about losing 10bi on a day if it happened.

hard to say as i've played for weeks then taken months off to go travelling etc, then didn't play whilst I had exams, which was 2months from each of the last 3years. spent quite a lot too on other stuff and i put a big amount in savings & investments which i've not included in the 200k figure.

i played quite alot on nl200 along time ago , cruised through 400 and 600 levels, then play 600+ now. if a lot of games going on, then won't play 600.

but to answer your question, probably under a year of playing solid. maybe 8-9 months

update:

Spoiler:

$4k/day so far, probably won't continue at that rate.

thought about including some hands that I've recently played... then i realized three things. 1) i got no clue how to post them, 2) the regs in the hand def read 2+2 and as I want to remain anonymous then that wouldn't happen and, 3) i wouldn't really know what to say...

Re: My journey to becoming a millionaire

1) can be easily handled by asking nicely
2) sure but the regs u play against probably have a very decent clue about your game anyways
3) no need but makes this whole thread all that much more exciting plus can get u some attention from potential trainng site deals etc

2/3) All the names are replaced by "Hero" "SB" "BB" etc., so anonymity is a guarantee

Would like to see some HHs also, it helps give us uNL grinders hope.
