How you choose tables? Do you look for tables where fish sitting with too high VPIP/PFR or even too tight nits? Did you read any books?
Are 6max and HU not too different games or do you think its just a range game? Good luck.

they are both different games, yes. ranges apply in both... not sure what you are asking really.

hmmm not as much as holdem -it's more of a drunk game I guess. Sometimes I play sober, but not as much.. i'd say there is not much between midstakes really, some have more whales higher up though.

What i wanted to ask is when i play at one table nl 6max and the other omaha pl i find it difficult to play because they are different games so i thought someone playing 6max could have problems to play good HU same time i mean many 6max players sit out when amount of players at table becomes less because they cant handle HU. But guess you dont have problems with that as your respond sounds like.
And the other was how have you been good at poker? I dont think you would start a thread if you are not confident enough to crush the game. Did you learn the game just by playing or did any book help you to know you can beat the game?

if i am playing a certain type of poker, whether it is holdem or omaha, i'll only be playing that type at the time! if omaha, i'll only play 4-6 tables as have to think a bit more so that is why I like to play holdem...more tables...

learn by playing the game , at the end of a session if I came across some problems, i will think why they happened and what is the best way to not let them happen again
