how do you calculate how many hands ur gonna play a hour an stuff/
i don't , i just sit back and play poker! then after session or after time periods i just check to see how many hands i've played...
i know roughly that if you 10-12 table its like 900-1k an hour or something, and i try to always have sessions of poker where i have minimum 8-9 tables or else i play more and more hands which isn't good.
With 22yrs how do you have 200k and how do you feel about it? Was it playing poker or in real life working? What type of work if so? Also do you play poker fulltime atm?
That's cool if you dont want to answer, it's kinda private questions but I find them interesting as I am curious about it.

And good luck at last
Thanks - i now have more than 200k as that was at the start and i actually understated my BR, but yes it feels nice to have money. it was all through poker, and yes i play online poker full time.
Since challenge started: $151k with around $163k in rb/bonus' etc
I had a lot of swingy days over the last 50k hands as i was playing 4-6 tables of 2k hu matches with good players a lot of the time, some of which i came out of on top, others not so. but yeah lead to alot of swings. now that i'm back to a peak high, i'm going to focus on game selecting a lot more
bet flop is standard, as is the turn. when the river comes down, i ask myself, am i folding if i check and he shoves? no, never. so i may aswel bet all in here and if he has the J or runner spades, then ok, but there are too many combinations of 2prs that would hero call me, but would just check behind on the river...so i had to shove for max value in this spot, imo! He had KQ fwiw
I was thinking checking river is having the max value here? Most of the time you'll probably only get called w/ the shove on river with a straight. And occasionally a hesitant call w/ two pair. In this hand generally, we put the villain on two pair as there are many combinations of 2prs as you said. And since we are not 100% (unless we see holecards) sure of what he holds, he also has a chance of having the straight, therefore by checking we reduce variance.
If we are never folding on the river, we also want villain to bluff allin(his 2pr, 1pr, air) on the river, or maybe thin value his 2pr (villain's range), as we are calling regardless. I feel that checking is a win/win here. Any thoughts?

this hand obviously is very opponent dependent, and in this example with the dynamic we had going on (aggro and v light value bets, and alot of barreling going on) i'm 99.999999999999999% sure that this was a river bet.

Spoiler:
i think we have spoke about the range of his cards and agreed somewhere there are just as much 2pair hands in his range that would call an all in than their are straight combo's (that would obv also call the all in) - saying that, therefore i bet to get value from the 2pr hands that may possibly check behind, and as I am 100% never check folding, i will bet for value rather than let it go check check and miss value (considering if i go all in and lose, i'm calling his all in anyway so can't lose any more/less)...

...and reduce our winnings in the long run. but seriously, we do not reduce variance - we just reduce our winnings, as explained in the above spoiler
