Re: My journey to becoming a millionaire

isnt the JJ river ship rrrreeeeaaaaally thin given that ucan have bot the nutstr8 and rivered flush that should lead to him folding way more than on a brick? at the very least villain played that really bad tbh cuz once he check calls his range is so mega faceup and he can assume u play there perfectly.....so he still calls lol

love the river call with 69 tons of draws missed, turn will make him barrel all his bluffs again and he set up a river potsizeshove so will very likely follow thru (despite shipping there being pretty meh given ALL the draws missed)

AA: again it seems like villain made a somewhat decent play on a pretty lolbad board to do it on because if he s any good he wont be xcalling twice with a str8drw on a flushdraw board and QT is very likely to xrgetitin on the flop and other QT will probly fold the turn. hence i love the valuebet on the rivr in the first place and then the river call

it is thin, maybe not reaaaaaaaally thin though, he is a reg, but he is a weird reg and i have alot of history with him now. he plays 43/29 style, very unorthadox but he's a winning player. he can have 2prs there alot and even aq himself thinking im floating him.. i mean by calling an original raiser and then calling 3b he can rule out aa and kk, and JJ is borderline but ok i guess is in my range, then there's also a possibility that i'm turning AJ into a bluff vs AK... but he's a guy who barrels alot (and all of his strong hands), & doesn't really give up much once he commits to a hand, so when he check called the turn I knew i was shipping river for value.. and if he has flush, then whatever, so be it - i can't afford to miss the value vs ak aq aj more times than i can shove all in and get called by the flush.

will post a hand vs same opponent after this reply ...

    thanks very much!

from a short downswing (over 10k hands) of from $150k to around $112k, i am now back to $133k and that is where we stand at the moment.

I am going away for 8 days next monday (7 days time) , and then back on the grind for around 3 weeks, then going away again for 3 weeks. then no holidays up until 2013 so will be setting some goals over the coming day or so and will post them when i've decided what i want to achieve.

Looks to me that around 66% of the time you are beat ( 43combos of straights/sets/flushes vs 22 combos of two pairs ). If you shove some of the two pairs will fold. When you get called, it is probably by better 80+% of the time.

i think the range that has us beat can be narrowed down a bit...

well, i feel that my knowledge is already enough to beat the games well, but i still learn, in the sense that i will gain more info on how regs play, or what fish do (on a specific nickname level), not in general.

e.g. if i was playing vs a person called Kn0wYourRole (my prev ongame nick) and i saw him , e.g. 4bet then call all-in every time with AJo, i'd learn that about his game, but not mine. but i could adjust my game vs him, if that makes sense.

GL in your goal. Short handed play is such a different beast. Like you said above, its the nuances (vs a screen name for example). Seems like you have a handle on the game/levels that work for you. Hope you keep running good

yeah you can , just can't have 2 accounts on the same skin that's all. say there is 20 skins on ongame, for example, i could have 20 different nicknames, if i wanted. i don't though, just 3-4. (although only 1 currently being used)

Re: My journey to becoming a millionaire

Going on holiday tomorrow, will post graph of the month and since the challenge started before i go. (i return late Tuesday 4th sept night)

I did some flips with some guys who i have a skype group convo with, and this was maybe 2-3 weeks ago, maybe longer. I deleted all the flips I was in, but I did win maybe $15k from them. Then i did some flips last week and lost about that much, but didn't delete the hands.

Now, as i've said, no more flips will happen. But, shall i delete the $15k worth of flips i lost last week (and so am about even in total for all my flips), or should I keep them in the database?
