I found this blog a little over a year ago and it inspired me to give poker another try. Thanks for that!

when you say your first "aha" moment was regarding hand ranges, was it going from like just playing hands based on instinct with little to no range assignments to like stopping on each street and assigning a range to how the hand has played out so far or was it something that clicked after you had already got to that stage? i feel like it's something i'm getting into for the first time (mostly have played sngs/mtts up to this point so only really understood TAG and push fold ranges as well as just vague ranges post flop) and it's like a massive eye opener for me so was just wondering if it was a similar thing

also what were your winrates at the micro/low stakes back when you started? and your 100BI rule applied to micros as well? if so thats insane, mad respect

Mr. Giev...

While it's still possible I have to ask...

What do u think on Running it twice? Does it or should it effect ur game plan in anyway?

Ur da best Sir.. Gl in future man!!!

In finnish..;
Spoiler:

Yeah thank you for this thread, it's an amazing read.

Just another try for a original question. Do you ever play poker homegames with friends, and if so, do you play serious or just pretend to be bad?

Now that 90% of the regs knows my stars sn I just don't feel like updating anymore.. Was a lot more fun when I was 'anonymous'.

That bolded part is pretty much correct.

Idk what my winrates were at the microstakes because it was so long time ago and I had many different databases.. I'd guess 1-2bb/100. And no I didn't use the 100BI rule, back when I started everyone said that 20 buyins is enough so that's what I used till nl200.

RIT is cool and it doesn't effect my game in any way.

In finnish:
Spoiler:
Ei sillä RIT:illä oo periaatteessa mitään merkitystä long runissa.

I started poker from homegames and we played almost every weekend but these days we play maybe once or twice a year. It's micro stakes and everybody is drinking so I'm not playing very seriously..
