2 years 2 millions, amazing
do you have any plan for playing live cash?
I think your skill in high stakes live game in Macau or Vegas
can make you lots of money

No matter how many millions of hands of poker you play you always care about short term result's while it is happening, sucks but it's true for 99% of winning players. Awesome work Giev.

I agree 100%.
That's like that because we are humans with feelings. All the other philosophys, books, videos etc about not taking short term results in account are useless and fake.

I think you can get better at dealing with variance. It is a skill, just like your NLHE crushing.

Giev is it safe to assume that while playing the micros your NSWinnings were not skyrocketing as they are now? Because I've been playing around with it for a while now and I notice I am sacrificing my showdown winnings and I'm not sure if I'm either being to aggro and bluffing in shady spots or if it's just not worth it because there is no fold button in the micros? Thanks in advance

i'm willing to bet that OP is far from a perfect poker player and gladly listens to advice... he's not a moron unlike yourself.

I had negative red line but then again I wasn't very good player. I'm pretty sure I'd have positive red line at micros if I'd now try to play there.

Would you care to actually try and post graph? xD It's just that it's so hard to win at non-showdown when they just can't fold.

Roma, if you haven't already already read it, check out this thread. It's an ok starting point for understanding NSD vs SD winnings.

Basically though red-line winnings come from a variety of spots, some are about bluffing more, some about pot-control, some about folding more pre/post, and all of it comes from being a good hand-reader and good at understanding what your opponent will probably do in response to various actions. If you always know what your opponent has more or less and so you end up committing less chips when you're going to have to fold very often or always make him fold a weak hand when otherwise you would have to fold etc. etc., then your red-line will increase.

Just Read first 10 pages of thread and seems to be good thread! I am glad I happened to read this because I am also from Finland and had no clue that there was tax free poker rooms. I am currently playing on poker stars which should be taxed but I don't think that I will be on tax agencies radar for a while. :P

Have you ever folded kings pre?

If you could go back in time would you have started this thread now knowing its 240 pages and still going?

If I you had to pick between 2 week playing at Macau or 2 weeks in Vegas where would you choose and why?

Cheers
