Roma, if you haven't already already read it, check out
this thread. It's an ok starting point for understanding NSD vs SD winnings.
Basically though red-line winnings come from a variety of spots, some are about bluffing more, some about pot-control, some about folding more pre/post, and all of it comes from being a good hand-reader and good at understanding what your opponent will probably do in response to various actions. If you always know what your opponent has more or less and so you end up committing less chips when you're going to have to fold very often or always make him fold a weak hand when otherwise you would have to fold etc. etc., then your red-line will increase.
