I'm doing a similar challenge. Made my way through 2nl & 5nl... But finding it tougher at 10nl as I'm over-thinking plays too much!

Most recent 10nl ventures have made it possible for me to shoot 25nl for 3bi, so I'm just going for it whilst I have the chance.

10nl (hopefully finished):

Finished winning at just over 7bb/100 which I'm really happy with, hopefully I can switch it over to 25nl when I get some decent volume in.

Will update in a few days with how my 25nl shot goes, Glgl all.

Managed to get in a decent amount of hands over the past few days. I've only been 2-3 tabling 25 so far so volume is slightly less. I definitely feel like I'm making more mistakes, or being pressured to make more mistakes at 25nl, but some bluffy lines by regs are exploitable if you're hand reading decently.

I need to work on barreling/playing 3bet pots more, so I'm watching the series 'Rewind' by NoahSD which I think will help get my thought process back on track. Planning on a big volume day tomorrow so will maybe update then depending how many hands I play

Thanks man. Yeah sure, people tend to make way more calling mistakes than betting mistakes, so just focus on valuebetting and you'll get to grips with hand reading a lot quicker.

Haven't updated this in blooody ages due to life things, so I'm gonna be palying 80k hands at 10nl over 10 days to get back into it, and hopefully leave me with a solid shot at 25nl! But screw results, cmon volume. I'll try and update daily if I manage 8k hands per day

I'm just making a quick post. After my 25nl shot I've been a little off my game, or at least felt like I've not been playing my A game. I think it's a little bit of self doubt, and also being results orientated. So to stop this, I'm not going to be checking results very often (probably once a week). Obviously when I start doing this it means that I won't update as often, again probably once a week or something around that I'll update every monday most likely

Keeping in the mindset that volume/time = profit, not short term results determine profit is pretty key, so I'll try and get some volume in. Gl all!

Managed to earn 100vpps today to get to the 5k vpp milestone, so that'll help with the BR Pretty sure I was up a buyin or 2 at the end of the day as well, even though I got sucked out on quite a lot I'll do a proper monday update tomorrow, on Tuesday, because that's just how this thread is going at the moment haha.

This was 10nl in May. Volume sucked haha June is going to have to be a 100k month.

    1) Pretty likely this guy raises 2 pair + OTF, or maybe even raises a FD sometimes, so when he jams OTT, I think it's more likely a bluff with a FD, or a random float that's spazzing. I also think he rarely shoves a flush OTT.

      2) When he bets half pot OTT, it's rarely a T as he checks a T, and a K would probably bet slightly more most of the time. So I think he has a lot of hands like QJ/AJ or random draws/floats that are just stabbing. If the river came a brick and he shoved then I was definitely calling.

        3) When he x/r this board OOP tiny, it's pretty unlikely he has 55/99/TT/T9, or is x/raising an overpair, so when we call we look like 99+ 100% of the time. I don't like betting OTT as we don't really rep all that much, and also if he checks to us OTR it's a prefect spot to bet.

25nl shot hasn't gone so well over the past few days unfortunately. I think I've played decently well; I lost quite a few big pots to coolers (88 vs T9 on 8QJtt BvB) or other preflop AI coolers so what can you do

I moved to playing 25nl regular tables, since I think it's a lot softer than 25nl zoom. Only problem being is that I really don't like table selecting, and also playing 10-12 tables isn't for me. So for the rest of June I'm switching over to try some turbo HUSNG's ($7), and play 1100 of them over the next 15 days to reach goldstar at the end of the month. I'll have to play 70ish a day to keep pace, but I think that's prefectly achieveable since I've finished up with uni now

I shall keep this updated every couple of days with my progress.

EDIT: BR is currently at $400.

Right, I've had a proper think about what I want to achieve this year with poker and I don't think HUSNGs is what I actually want to do. SO I need to knuckle down and actually get some volume in. Disregard the above post.

            JUNE GOAL:

100k hands from now. It'll be about 6-7k hands per day, which is around 7h per day, which is perfectly achievable if I get up in the mornings and have a solid schedule. I shall update daily since daily volume should be quite high

Hasn't quite clicked as of yet ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This has been 10nl over this morning and yesterday. Not great volume but that's been to a couple of reasons, like our internet got cut off for a few days since we didnt pay our bills

            Some hands:

            1) Probably should fold OTT, I think it's pretty villain dependent and I don't think I had much info on him.

Cool, I'll do a couple of hands reviews now. With ^ hand:

He has loads of PPs when he calls flop, and then 3X/7X/smaller overpairs/floats. We barrel to try and fold PPs,floats, some 7X. When he raises its never any PPs, and it's unlikely that he raises 3X/FH here since we have a lot of air in our range. So the hands he raises for value is prob KJ/AJ that floated OTF and some rare 3X. And then he can raise all his floats, and some hands like 45cc/65o, so random gutshots and turned FDs.

So we beat all his floats -AK and he 3bets that pre most of the time. And we beat all his draws, and he doesn't always raise AJ when he has it. River bricks, and i'm not worried about him having 5X since he would most likely check that back OTR. So when he bets it's either AJ/3X or a bunch of random floats/missed draws.

                    2) We can float flop assuming he shuts down on a decent amount of turns. When he DBs then it's not 55-99, and if he had a Q he prob bets bigger or x/raises a lot. So it's a bluff or an A playing scared, so we can raise tiny, and bet river if called.

Looks weird Went on a huge heater, and it's just been standard back and forth since then.

I need to earn 1175.18 vpps by June 30th to finally get goldstar, which is 30k hands at 10nl. I have about 10 days I reckon, so just need to keep good pace. Will still try and hit 100k hands before the end of June. Gl all!

                      Ty sir

Right, planning to play a session now, then I'll update this evening. I watched the England Uruguay game in the pub; disappointed isn't the word. I think that's the 2nd game that England have played where they've been the better team, but still managed to lose

I've also done an all nighter because I wasn't tired, so this session should be interesting. I'll stoploss at 3-4 BIs if it goes that badly I am pretty freakin' tired now, but it's 8:20am so I can't go to bed. Glgl all!
