Subbed.

Should've been 10 men for Uruguay for I don't know how long. At least Rooney hooked up.

Very nice so far. Looks like aggressive bankroll management, but cautiously optimistic so that's good. The only reason it seems like it could be an issue is because (I've heard; no personal experience) Zoom has a tendency to bring with it a higher level of variance, as I understand it. I appreciate the time you're putting into this, thanks.

Thanks Yeah I thought that should have been a second yellow at about 20 minutes, but I might be bias Yeah so far it's been rough shooting 25, I think I'm going to wait a little longer till I take another shot, maybe 650 or something like that.

The past day:

That downswing haha. It wasn't fun playing through it, but I just told myself I was playing well and volume is key which kept me in a good mindset. 1 BI was me 5b bluffing and getting caught, but apart from that I think I played well. Got some good volume in too!

VPPS to goldstar: 960.17 = 96 per day = 2400 hands.

I'll show some runbad hands, always classic

              Funny you should say that..

Heat Had a huge rostucko AA>KK>QQ AI pre to kick start, then played decent and ran well which was nice Getting some decent volume in as well, with the trade off being my sleep pattern being wrecked

All hands but ATdd seem fine. 4bet calling ATdd is kinda dreadful because villain having a high resteal doesn't mean he's 5bet bluffing much if at all. Which means you're probbaly doing very bad vs his 5b jamming range. Plus you don't have to make such high variance calls to beat someone with a 30% resteal AND it's only 150 hands, so kinda meaningless sample size.

Yeah I agree. 4bet folding is probably better than 4bet calling, and even then it's bad. If we had a hand like A5o then 4b folding is fine. I prefer calling the squeeze after thinking about since we have BTN and a decent hand.

Very nice! Gotta love that Friday crowd. Winning 3-way all-ins is always a huge bonus. I ALMOST got a player to bite on a 3-way all-in where I flopped a set of sixes last night, but the 3rd skated off after dumping half of his stack. What guy doesn't love a 3-way?

Don't see any need to get in 100bb pre with QQ at 10nl imo. Just flat the 3bet and exploit villains post flop weaknesses

In general perhaps you're right, but against this villain then I'm fine getting QQ in pre.

              Today:

Pretty meh all day. Made some pretty huge bad decisions, I think about 1.5bi was spew The rest was runbad, and I played some hands that I won pretty well I think.

HH converter still down for me so I'll just do a big hand update when it starts working again.

1.5 bi is almost 100% of your losses though, so that's unfortunate. Was it at least aggro spew or was it passive spew?

              Bit of both

Really bad volume, I've been a bit ill most of the day and really couldn't concentrate when I was playing. But I have some hands

              Hands:

              1) Pretty nice hand to analyse. Villain is an aggressive/aggro reg. He doesn't raise 22/55/99 here that often imo. He's more likely raising 34s/78/67/A9/TT+ and air.

Bets pretty big OTT, and I think he still fires as his gutshots/bluffs that he raised OTF, as well as QT/XXcc that picked up equity. I think it's slightly less likely that he fires his value this big as well.

River looks scary, but it's less likely he raises an A OTF, and prob doesn't barrel A9 OTT. I'm not sure if he would shove a hand like A3 here, would be pretty sick. 34s got there, but 67/78/QT/XXcc/air missed.

              Update!

              10nl 4 tables:

Happy with volume at 10nl, I went through this entire session afterwards and looked through all hands with more than 25bb put in the pot by hero. Did a bunch of equity calcs and found a few hands/spot that I messed up so I felt confident in taking another shot at 25nl. I ran under EV @ 10nl as well

              25nl 2 tables:

Really happy with how I played. Ran 2.x BI under EV as well haha. 2 tabling really helps with focus, so I'll keep that going for the future.

I'll play more tomorrow, hopefully I run well at 25nl to start it all off

Also I need 397vpps in 3 days which is 3k hands at 10nl a day, or 1.4kish at 25nl. So I'll make sure I hit that before saturday so I can play the freerolls. Gl all

                    I play 4 tables @ 10nl zoom and 2 @ 25nl yeah.

                    25nl:

Aaaaand did not go well once again. I really don't think I played badly, I made some smaller mistakes imo, but the huge losing pots seem fine. Just didn't run well once again. I'll post hands at some other time i think.

Since my shots have been going terribly, I'm going to grind 10nl till $750 so I can take a proper shot at 25. Will be grinding **** loads in the coming days. Still need to get to goldstar tomorrow as well. Gl everyone

Jealous! I wish I could grind **** loads! Still waiting to finish a transfer.

I don't look at the equity line for my own sake, but in a situation in which I believe I played well, but the results aren't there, I like to look at it as it points out some mental mistakes.

I'm back After my 25nl shot I dropped back down to 10nl but went on ~30bi downer including my failed 25nl shot which wasn't the best so I took a small break and tried to do some more off table work than actual playing. Played some HUSNGs to try and improve my hand reading as well.

But I'm back at 10nl zoom now, grinding up for my next 25nl shot @ 750ish. Started with $200 as I had to withdraw some of my roll, currently sitting around 380ish.

Need to play 60k hands before August to keep Goldstar so that's the plan!

Last few days (over the space of about 2-3 weeks wince I haven't been able to play much recently due to real life things. I really don't feel like I'm playing very well atm. I might be winning at 4-5-6bb/100 but I feel like my game is flat and just sub par.

Also I'm off on holiday to Spain this monday so definitely won't be making goldstar this month which kinda sucks, but it's only a few fpps that I'm missing out on. Hopefully I can get in some hands tomorrow but I'm off holiday shopping/catching up with friends from home so I doubt it'll be much.

I'll probably watch some videos/look through hands and try and work out why I think I'm not playing that well. Looking foward to playing 25nl regular tables though!

Quick update before I go off to Spain for holiday.

Bad volume, and ran pretty bad, especially in the -6bi downer in about 500 hands haha. Literally every bluff got caught, and just didn't pick up all that much value. Either way, +/-10bi @ zoom is pretty standard.

                    Hands:

                    1) Villain playing 26/20/11% over 80 hands, with 20% resteal so likely to be aggressive. No real value in cbetting, and we induce OTT when we check back.

Call OTT is fine, he bets air/draws (Q9/K9/KQ/98/87/FDs) as well as his value. I don't think he bets much TX OTR, probably still bets J9+ maybe KT. But since he's aggro i think he 3bets a lot of AX pre instead of calling, as well as AJ+ for value, so this A doesn't hit him that often, and he'll bet it when he misses with all his FDs and busted gutshots and straights.

                      2) Villain is 17/13 over 238 hands, so probably TAGish. Cbet for value, he calls with draws, weaker overpairs, some AX with 2 overs and BD FD, some AX floats. I could DB OTT, but i think he folds a decent amount of 2nd pairs that we beat, and we give him a chance to bluff with his floats/draws if we check. When he pots it's never 77-99, MAYBE 66/56, and probably not AA-QQ, so I think it's more likely a draw or pair + draw so we can x/shove for value.
