Thanks all <3 Time for the monthly review...

May - Showered the SCOOPS but scooped the Bigs

As mentioned before the shot taking in some of the SCOOPS went pretty poorly, but ran well chopping botht he Big $162 and Big $109 within a weeks distance of one another.

I have been keeping an eye on my Non Showdown winnings recently and pretty much every single day (apart from the past Sunday) I have been running well above EV, by about 3 bb/100 each session on Stars which surely contributes to some of the results I have been having.

I think things like this keep me grounded and help me realise how good I've had to run to have the sort of results I have. I still have a large amount to learn and as long as I continue to see considerable strides of improvement month by month then I can only be happy, regardless of results.

Will be getting back to the daily grind, been a hectic couple of weeks having had birthday celebrations all over the shop since Wednesday including a night out Saturday, where I had to build up the courage to drink a limited amount so I could still be prepared and ready for the Sunday fun.

would hardly call 650 games a month true grinding but trying to graft

Been grinding since Monday, felt myself get a little lazy in a couple of spots where I've punted it in but could happily peel and stuff. However I'm very happy at the moment with some of the post flop stuff I have been focussing on, considering ranges a lot more especially in multiway pots.

Pads made an inspirational speech (standard) which sat really well with me, regarding the next 3 months being big and really needing to show improvement for it. I think after SCOOP when everyone disappears off to vegas and less fish grind because it's sunny it's very easy for an online grinder to lose their hunger for it with prizepools looking tiny compared to how they have been the past few months and almost uninspiring.

Just need to make sure I'm not one of those guys and don't get lazy with the work I'm putting in, which hasn't been much of a problem to date but I definitely felt somewhat burnt out after SCOOP. I've gone back to scrolling facebook and stuff way too much when otg so going to make sure I stop this and go back to focus mode.

Thanks for all the nice words of course been incredibly fortunate and I am aware of that

Thanks, means alot to get recognition for work I've put in, obv hoping for some more heat in these summer months!

Not alot to shout about so far this month, in fact the first week was pretty awful, with highlights being 11th's and 12th's in bowl mtt's. On sunday I felt like I cashed every tournament under the sun, but never really managed to achieve more than a mincash resulting in a +$500 day. Felt really happy with my play and after feeling somewhat rusty it felt like I was re-gaining focus to the desired level.

Monday I managed a bink in the 888 Crocodile for $4.4k. Reviewed this straight after with a friend and I got a bit too punty in some spots on the FT where I think I let dynamics effect my mindset somewhat with the fish abso running me over for the most part after doubling up and going back to square one, So need to make sure my mind remains calm and clear as I don't think this has happened to mefor quite some time.

Anyway ran sick the tailend of it, had an interesting HU battle and think I played pretty well once I got there, was able to justify all of my decisions, even if they may not necessarily have been the most profitable ones.

Took the day off and FINALLY joined a gym yesterday for the first time in my life, I play football weekly and I'm worried by just how unfit I am, unable to run for any elongated period of time, plus it's beach bod season as I'm expecting to go on holiday to Greece at some point during the summer so don't want to look like a sloth when my body finally sees some sun.

Maybe I missed it but are you going to Vegas?

Not going to Vegas this year, 90% likely I'd say to be going next year though I reckon.

Been a looong delay since I last posted, last Sunday and Monday were somewhat hectic as I was gunning for a triple crown. Sunday night saw me fade it, finishing 4th in the slow $55 20k on stars for $2.5k.

Pretty entertaining f2t's, Won't name names but Reg A who is a Mid/High stakes MTT reg won a 70bb pot from a low/micro mtt reg with about 15 left then started berating him, saying "this is how the high stakes regs do it, micro guys are a joke" etc. etc. It's almost like he wanted to chase a micro mtt reg out of the games, was super rude, obnoxious and really disrespectful. I gave him some stick in the chatbox and he seemed to think it was about who was the better player, rather than a question of respect and manners as if because he plays decent he has the right to act like that in the chatbox.

Funnily enough Reg B came to his rescue after I mugged him off for being called light in a spot where he was bluffing. Obv Reg B had no knowledge as to why I was mugging off Reg A with it being a question of respect and attitude rather than ability, saying "do you like trash talking regs who are better than you" or something along those lines, I responded "its much better than trash talking someone who is better than you than someone who is worse than you". Ironically Reg B who seemed to now be taking a moral high ground vs me is well known for being male but consistently playing womens events on Stars, thinking that's totally OK, wp him.

No Crown sweat Monday sadly, but Tues-Thurs I was in London meeting some old uni friends who I hadn't seen for about 3 years, then Thurs-Sat I was in Plymouth (South West coast of England) visiting my parents new place on the water which was a dream, as well as the weather being absolutely ideal. Came back looking like a lobster but thankfully sunburn never really stings me too much so we are all good for a Sunday session, lets gogogogo

Don't get me wrong, I love the chatbox banter. I mug ismo<3seppo off pretty much every day of his life. But there's a very fine line between firing shots and saying a bunch of crap which could directly effect your profitability in games as well as boosting up your own douche factor, acting like a self proclaimed messiah of poker.
