If you have a solid game, my suggestion for anyone making the shift really studies ICM. You need to maximize your equity the times you are lucky enough to make final tables.
Jonathon Little, who is quite an accomplished player, once said on live circuit, he was expecting 3 deep runs a year. The times those were in $3,000 buy in + events, he had big years. When they happened at $500 buy in events, his year not so good.
Now, the volume OP puts in, variance of buy in level shouldn't be as big of a factor, as opposed to his opponents ability. If he finds he is crushing $20 less tourneys, but struggling at $100+, means his strategy is not there yet against tougher players.
Now, tourneys they have lots of satelites for, the bigger buy in events often have many weak spots. Tourneys that don't have large satelite entries, the play tends to be tougher.
I mean yeah 20 mtts without a cash happens constantly. Its very normal. However comparing a HS live grind to online is kind of a stretch, barely the same game playing what 20-50 events live/year when you can play 12000 mtts online. And about variance in BI levels i think you are very wrong in that it doesnt matter so much, its insane how much variance the higher bis bring, of my last 5300 mtts 79 have been $100+, also keep in mind these are usually mtts like wcoops/109bb/sunday million with infinate variance., If you run bad at the top of your BI range might look like a bad player and someone who runs good at the top of BI range looks like a crusher

Talks a lot about rising pokerstars MTT level, when these guys like you sneaking around.
WTF really why dont you play highstakes
These hands, even highrollers wont bluff these moments
Lol not sure if im getting trolled but obviously i only upload the cool/spewy/hands that worked out, or just hands im confused about in general
I think i am way too punty and struggle with trying to win every pot i play. Everyday is a learning process right now and im constantly trying to find the balance between good, effective agression and relentless spewy agression
I would say i am pretty clueless still but im enjoying myself and feel like im improving!
So studied a decent amount today and then played a lower tables sesh netting 34 games (played basically the same hours as usual, so really held back on table count, and trying to fire less hypers etc unless im winding down). Did make some profit again today after 12th in 33 turbo, 30th 33 turbo pko, 13th 55 PKO, 3rd 44-8max on stars, 3rd $33 grind, 16th 27 deep stacks, cashed 55 gladiator & 55 bb hr and 8th in the $27 classic on party. Forgot a few cashes i think but thats about it.
Also bought RYE masterclass today, gonna start deep diving in to that tomorrow and then probably play a smaller evening session before a big sunday. Heres the biggest cashes and couple fun hands. The 2nd one might be real bad, im too bad to know
